Rapid offensive!

Another one of my teams, and one of my better and extremely successive ones, it's based on a succession of rapid offensive attacks with a few pokemon that give teams a headache trying to counter.

An in-depth look

Zapdos @ Choice Scarf
Timid Nature
Pressure
Ev's: 80 HP/ 252 Sp.Atk/ 176 Spe
Moveset-
-U-turn
-Thunderbolt
-Heatwave
-HP Ice/Grass
An unpredictable lead and one of my favorites, many teams never expect to see a zapdos leading and always often predict a bulkydos and try to go toe-to-toe with him and get a OHKO from thunderbolt or another one of his attacks, CHoice Scarf guarantees he outruns all leads except the uncommon infernape lead which he naturally counters and also outruns a 2 DD Gyrados, U-turn deals little damage from Zapdos but can be used to switch out to a counter if zapdos has no way of dealing with the current threat. I run HP ice most of the team but i've been leaning towards HP grass to cause Swampert leads problems.

Infernape @ Life Orb
Naive Nature
Blaze
Ev's: 4 Atk/ 252 Spa / 252 Spe
Moveset
-Fire Blast
-Close Combat
-HP Ice
-Grass Knot
Probably one of the weaker links but he almost always can guarantee me 2-3 Ko's before he goes out. I send him in not expecting to last for a 6-0 sweep but mainly for a feinted all special ape considering he runs 3 SPecial moves and get one of those special walls that can cause issues such as blissey then OHKO with a close combat, which explains his ev spread; although unusual, his main focus comes out of his special moves and so I boost his Sp.Atk and Spe to almost guarantee he gets the first move, and since he already has high Atk, plus the 120 STAB from Close Combat + Life Orb it will almost always OHKO the pokemon it's intended to.

Scizor @ Choice Band
Adamant Nature
Technician
Ev's: 252 ATk/ 248 Hp/ 8 Spe
Moveset-
-Superpower
-U-turn
-Bullet Punch
-Pursuit
Scizor + Choice band makes for a nasty and hard hitting combination, pursuit OHKO's weaker psychic types, and bullet punch will 2HKO all dragons that try to set up or get locked into outrage, as well as OHKO gengars, Superpower can destroy walls if they are switched in on him or I U-turn into him, and he also has U-turn if I predict a switch out.

Machamp @ Leftovers
Adamant Nature
No Guard
Ev's: 216 HP/ 252 Atk/ 40 Spd
Moveset-
-Substitute
-Stone Edge
-DynamicPunch
-Payback
Probably one of the nastiest sets and pokemon on my team, and one of my favorites. He can switch on something that won't do much, dynamicpunch the current pokemon or the switch-in for confusion, or substitute if it's early and i'm expecting a ghost, and then from behind that substitute he has all kinds of moves to deal with threats, stone edge makes a nice check on flying switch in's, payback for ghosts such as gengar since they will always outspeed him although dusknoir will take it like a champ, and Dynamicpunch is of course his most annoying move, dealing serious damage as well as inflicting confusion which can mess up any team.

Flygon @ Choice Band
Adamant Nature
Levitate
Ev's: 252 Atk/ 252 Spe/ 4 HP
Moveset
-U-turn
-Outrage
-Earthquake
-Firepunch
Another Choice Bander yes but one that packs a major punch, predictable opponents running obvious earthquakes or electric moves will suffer as he switches in and then proceeds to U-turn to see what his possible switch in counter will be and further scout the rest of this team, as has been the theme with the rest of the team, U-turns are vital in scouting and allowing me to play with the opponents head, with him not knowing what i'll do. Outrage can destroy three straight opponents if they aren't physically defensive, earthquake for great stab, and Firepunch over FireBlast since SpA is basically useless on this guy and firepunch will 2HKO bronzong easily.

Suicune @ LEftovers
Bold Nature
Pressure
Ev's: 252 Hp/ 252 Def/ 4 Spe
Moveset-
-Sleeptalk
-Rest
-Surf
-CalmMind
An always annoying pokemon, Crocune is my only real non-offensive pokemon but still maintains amazing offensive potential as if the opponent has no real OHKO threats he can get in 4-6 Calm Minds while resting off status and damage and at that point can proceed to 6-0 teams with no real counter on his incredibly boosted surf, as well as boasting amazing defenses, provided I don't get greedy because critical hits are bound to happen after 6 straight attacks.

Team Strategy:
As I mentioned before the team is based around hard hits and rapid offensive switching with each one of my pokemon capable of sweeping or taking out 2-3 at a time before switching out to the next pokemon who will then proceed to take care of previous threats. So far the team has been very successful and seems to balance itself out well and functions great as a single unit, no 2 are really swept by the same pokemon especially considering the hard hitting speed coming from zapdos, flygon, and infernape.

So here it is, let's get some rates :D

Hmmh.

This is an excellent team.

I don't see much that warrants change.

You have two excellent combos going on as well.

Machamp + Zapdos & Scizor + Flygon.

You say Infernape is your weak link, but I can't see much to interchange him with. I can't see much to change on the set either besides suggestions the standard set with 4 less speed evs.[329] Speed iirc.

If an enemy infernape CCs you. You survive and they get the defense drop. Then you can CC them for the KO.

Thank you :) and that's only mainly because he goes down pretty fast but as I mentioned from what you said he can straight up run through teams.

Okay so I hate to double post but I had serious issue with a celebi and i'm not sure if it was my bad prediction or if I really don't have a good counter. :/

I'm a bit worried about 3 Choice users and no Stealth Rock. Since this is a U-turn team, it's a bit suprising that you aren't using Stealth Rock or even Spikes as well to keep punishing your opponent's switches even further.

To this end, I would support

Swampert (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Torrent
EVs: 252 HP/6 Atk/252 Def
Impish nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Earthquake
- Avalanche
- Stealth Rock
- Roar/Filler
---

The best way to get rocks going, hands down.

Don't use Crocune as an offensive threat. He might have been hot shit last generation, but today Salamence can 2HKO him, laughing all the while at Surf. And he can't even beat a Blissey. Really, his time has gone. Infernape should be able to beat Blissey fairly easily, but if not Swampert try

Heatran (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 228 HP/30 Spd/252 SAtk
Modest nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Fire Blast
- Metal Sound
- Taunt
- Earth Power
---

But I like Stealth Rock better. It's possibly to play without it, but teams like this one would really benefit from it.

Hmm so your suggestion swampert replace crocune, and switch out with zapdos as a lead but zapdos remains on the team? Or zapdos just fine as a lead?
