Rapidash (Analysis)

[Checks and Counters]

Lanturn and Quagsire both resist Flare Blitz, and have an immunity to Wild Charge, and take little damage from Low Kick thanks to their low weight.

Lanturn isn't NU anymore, is it?

In my opinion, Rapidash really needs Morning Sun. Recovery on something this recoil-reliant is too good to pass up, especially when both Low Kick and Megahorn are not often used [The former is mainly for Regirock, and is your best option on the Rock/Steels, the latter for Mespirit and Duosion]

Also, Will-O-Wisp can nuter Rock-type counters, Altaria would be crippled until it switches out, and Quaggy and Samuwott don't like it, so is worth a mention as well.

All four moves have their merits, although I personally would always go with Morning Sun, because of Rapidash's high reliance on Recoil attacks, and weakness to SR.

Also, in the overveiw, when mentioning merits over Emboar, mention Will-O-Wisp and Flash Fire.

I updated with the second check and took out Lanturn (I don't know why I didn't take it out, I had gotten rid of other Lanturn mentions earlier...)

Morning Sun is already the main choice on the set, so I'm not sure what you're saying there...

Honestly if QC wants me to put a quick mention of Will-O-Wisp and Flash Fire in the overview I will, but I feel like they're lesser points, especially since Emboar also learns Will-O-Wisp and Rapidash has trouble hitting other Fire-types.

If they don't want changes though, this is done, if they do I'll still check in.

Now to actually write up Pinsir...
