Hey guys, I'm a bit new to competitive battling, and after a bit of playing with some friends, I'm getting the hang of it with. This is the team that I'm currently using, just wanted to know if it was any good. (It's not for any specific tier.)

Heatran
Ability - Flash Fire
Modest
@Choice Scarf
128 Def, 252 SpA, 128 SpD
-Flamethrower
-HP Ice
-Earth Power
-Flash Cannon

I was using the popular Air Balloon on this first but found other Pokemon a lot faster and constantly popping it. I also had Roar instead of Flash Cannon and the EV's were different, making this more of a Support Heatran, but I found this offensive version a lot more fun and useful. Heatran is one of the offensive Special Pokemon, but can serve as a good wall at times.

Haxorus
Ability - Mold Breaker
Adamant
@Choice Scarf
252 Atk, 4 Def, 252 Spd
-Outrage
-X-Scissor
-Brick Break
-Earthquake

Haxorus is a physical sweeper. His amazing base Attack stat of 147 comes in quite handy, and a base Speed of 97 isn't bad either. Choice Scarf is there because he is outspeeded by many other sweepers and needs that boost. He can also be a great revenge-killer, Outrage destroys everything in its path.

Gengar
Ability - Levitate
Timid
@Leftovers
4 HP, 252 SpA, 252 Spe
-Shadow Ball
-Disable
-Focus Blast
-Substitute

Ahh, how I love the all-powerful Gengar. With bad defenses, the Focus Sash is extremely useful. the 4 HP EV's are in there just to make him last a little longer, necessary for a Special sweeper. Awesome Speed and Special Attack make him trouble for any wall. He also serves as a Spin-blocker.
I had Substitute in place of Will-O-Wisp, but getting the burn rather than setting up a Sub is more useful. I played around with this and Toxic, but cutting the Attack stat came in extremely useful and was really fun.

Scizor_2_by_HearthFire.jpg

Scizor
Ability - Technician
Adamant
@Choice Band
252 Atk, 4 Def, 252 Atk
-Bullet Punch
-U-turn
-Pursuit
-Brick Break

As they say, if it ain't broke, don't fix it. The mighty Scizor is one of the greatest physical sweepers I could think of. I chose Brick Break over Superpower (as I saw many people use) simply because having the Attack stat lowered (not all too worried about Defense) and continuously using it if I wanted to sweep would make it - and me - weaker and weaker. It also breaks the strategy of the odd Double-Screeners every now and again. Scizors Speed isn't great, and I'm debating whether to put a Scarf on it. The Attack boost is great, but there's a point where it just becomes unnecessary overkill.

Ferrothorn
Ability - Iron Barbs
Relaxed
@Leftovers
4 HP, 252 Def, 252 SpD
-Stealth Rock
-Leech Seed
-Power Whip
-Gyro Ball

Ferrothorn is, simply put, awesome. He (or she, as I have a female) serves as both a physical and a Special wall. Amazing defenses allow quick setup and you can just destroy with Power Whip (224 Attack with NO boosts) and Gyro Ball (40 Speed at Lv. 100? Please, bitch). Too many games have been won with and because of this guy and I have no plans on changing anything

Tentacruel
Ability - Rain Dish
Bold
@Black Sludge
110 Def ,252 SpA, 146 SpD
-Scald
-Toxic Spikes
-Rapid Spin
-Protect

Tentacruel is a Special Wall primarily, with some Defense EV's in there in case I'm in a sticky situation. Speed EV's were unnecessary. This Tentacruel is pretty typical, nothing special about it. To explain some stuff, though: Black Sludge is there over Leftovers in case any non-Poison type decides to use Trick. Rain Dish is the norm, but with no one with Rain Dance or Drizzle on the team, you have to get lucky with the opponent useing a Rain team. Scald is the best STAB move that it has and the added (hopeful) effect of burning is nice.

Well, they're you have it. I'm open to any suggestions, feel free to say anything.

You might not be using it for a specific tier, but every Pokémon on your team is OU, so you might get more and higher quality responses if you have it moved to the OU section.

Can't say, I don't play OU (or singles in general), which was part of my point - most of the people who are experienced with it won't check this section very often.
