This is the second team I've ever created so if it's the worst thing you've ever seen, don't absolutely destroy me.
Venusaur-Mega @ Venusaurite
Ability: Chlorophyll
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SpA / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Leech Seed
- Giga Drain
- Synthesis
- Toxic
This special wall Mega Venusaur works so well for me. It severely cripples pokemon with leech seed and toxic, which forces them to switch out a lot of the time. It gains back its health so easily with giga drain and synthesis, so it can stall alot of special sweepers. I found that it counters charizard-y pretty well thanks to thick fat and drought gives synthesis a big boost.
Blastoise @ Leftovers
Ability: Torrent
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpA
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Toxic
- Scald
- Protect
- Rapid Spin
This is a pretty standard physically defensive Blastoise. It's main job is to stall physical attacking pokemon and its the teams rapid spinner. Getting the occasional burn with scald is great, since it's usually on the field with a physical pokemon. Toxic and protect are there to cripple other pokemon and give it leftovers health.
Gengar @ Black Sludge
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Will-O-Wisp
- Sludge Wave
- Substitute
- Shadow Ball
This gengar's pretty fun to use. I chose it so it could be the main special damaging pokemon. Its not an all out attacker with life orb, but it does act as the main special sweeper on the team. It also acts as an emergency counter to physical attacking pokemon due to it having such a high speed and will-o-wisp.
Talonflame @ Sharp Beak
Ability: Gale Wings
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Flare Blitz
- Brave Bird
- U-turn
- Will-O-Wisp
The main physical sweeper on the team. I chose it beacause I didnt have priority moves, and this thing hits HARD with brave bird. It does its job well with stab flare blitz and the priority brave bird, buts its so frail. I chose not to give it a life orb because the recoil already wears it down so quickly. I usually lead with talonflame because it can u-turn into another pokemon and its the fastest on the team.
Bisharp @ Life Orb
Ability: Defiant
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Knock Off
- Sucker Punch
- Swords Dance
- Iron Head
Another physical attacker since talonflame is so fragile. Got it to knock off items, sucker punch, and handle fairys. Stab knock off is amazing to remove items like leftovers or life orbs. Sucker comes in handy a lot, especially when bisharp is at +2 from either a defiant boost or swords dance. Iron head is good at dealing with fairys such as Clefable.
Cresselia @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 248 HP / 8 SpA / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Moonlight
- Psyshock
- Thunder Wave
- Substitute
This pokemon is mainly just a placeholder until I find something better, or figure out how to use it better. Thunder wave comes in handy to slow down other pokemon, and Cresselia has more than enough bulk to wall a lot of special sweepers.
