ORAS OU Rate my team: offensive versatility

Decided to make one of these, here goes:

Clefable (F) @ Life Orb
Ability: Magic Guard
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SpA / 4 Spe
Modest Nature
- Moonblast
- Flamethrower
- Ice Beam
- Thunderbolt
This clefable is used mostly as my opener and has worked VERY well. It can 2HKO almost anything found in OU. I chose it because of it's typing and magic guard ability. Moonblast is used as it's stab and does good damage to anything that doesn't resist. Flamethrower to kill steel types switching in or setting up. Ice beam beats landorus and also salamence-mega, ice beam also hits zapdos harder than moonblast. I chose thunderbolt over HP ground as final coverage since it allows clefable to beat talonflame and charizard that switches in or sets up, also very handy to OHKO cloyster and gyarados(why do they always not mega and do dragon dance? lol). Clefable doesn't last long in battle as it can only take a few hits, but it almost always takes out two or 3 pokemon. That is fine as I'm going for quick offensive battles. Completely walled by heatran and venusaur-mega(which I found so far, could be more).

Scizor (M) @ Scizorite
Ability: Technician
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Bullet Punch
- Brick Break
- Aerial Ace
- Swords Dance
The mega slot on my team goes to scizor, after a swords dance, almost always someone is getting knocked out. Bullet punch for that priority stab boosted by technician(really why scizor is dangerous and every team should have means to stop it). Brick break for coverage on steel types, ater a swords dance also does major damage to heatran switching in. The speed EVs to outspeed non speed EV things that would counter scizor, like heatran and HP fire mega-venusaur. Aerial ace is boosted by technician which lets scizor beat things like heracross and fighting types. Also handy when I've squeezed in the swords dance and the opponent then switches into talonflame or mega venusaur.

Heatran (M) @ Air Balloon
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Lava Plume
- Earth Power
- Stealth Rock
- Roar
I chose heatran because of how well it fits in with clefable and scizor. When a heatran switches in to clefable, I can then switch in my heatran which can kill opposing heatran or set up rocks. The typing of heatran also makes it extremely good and a must have. Since half of the pokemon have levitate on this team heatran was the perfect choice. Move set and item is pretty standard, rocks to hurt switches, roar for those set ups. Earth power to kill heatran and lava plume is self explanatory.

Latias (F) @ Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Draco Meteor
- Psyshock
- Surf
- Roost
Latias hits slightly softer than latios but I went with latias just for that tiny extra bit of bulk. Draco meteor over dragon pulse, since dragon pulse just doesn't hit hard enough(very annoying on an offensive team). Psyshock for special walls and surf for coverage that would resist both. Roost over thunderbolt or HP fire since I have enough fire on the team as it is and roost helps negate the effects of life orb, heck, I can even use latias a burn absorber. But mostly latias is just my "fast special sweeper".

Gengar (M) @ Focus Sash
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Shadow Ball
- Sludge Wave
- Giga Drain
- Taunt
I chose gengar since every team could use a ghost type(not so sure anymore since mega lopunny is around lol). I also like the ability and poison typing. Gengar is another "fast special sweeper". Chansey is annoying so I went with taunt so it can't do anything to gengar(and I mean good chansey sets, bad chansey sets might still beat). Focus sash is a really good item on gengar because of how frail it is and it has decent speed. Giga drain for mega swampert and to sometimes get to 100% again(after rocks).

Azelf @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Zen Headbutt
- Knock Off
- Fire Punch
- Ice Punch
I needed a fast pokemon with decent attack power so I chose azelf as my scarf. Catches scarf lando off guard, does a good job of revenge killing too. Fire and ice punch for coverage. Knock off takes a slot since there aren't many pokemon that resist dark and taking items away is always good(almost always at least). With pokemon getting faster in oras, a base 110 would be a good choice scarf. So 115 seemed better to be, always better to have a faster scarf right?

That's the team, as you can see most of them don't have any longevity but the strategy is basically throw clefable into a suicide lead(I don't know how but it kills mons!). Then have the rest of the team out number and beat the leftovers.

Gyarados' don't go Mega so they resist Moonblast, no one really expects Thunderbolt on Clef. I would commend this set, but it gets shut down quite a bit in the new meta. Greninja with Gunk Shot and Megagross can plough through it, especially if it's not a defensive Clef. I honestly think you can get rid of Clef and run Azelf as your lead to do the same thing more effectively.
Scizor should be bulky SD. One of the best things about Mega Scizor is how effectively he can pull off that roll. Run something more like this:
Iris (Scizor) (F) @ Scizorite
Ability: Technician
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 248 HP / 44 Atk / 116 Def / 100 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Bullet Punch
- Knock Off
- Roost
- Swords Dance
Run Calm on your Heatran. As a Rock setter and Roarer, you need bulk, not speed.
Lastly, you need a Spinner/Defogger or your Gengar's Sash is a total waste. You have Latias which makes a damn good Defogger with Mega Scizor since there's no shared Fire weakness like with Skarm or Excadrill, and as you mentioned it has better bulk than Latios.
Good luck, man.

I agree with greninja being a threat to the team, but I can't change azelf into my lead for clefable since clefable has a better type(can switch to heatran and counter when a steel type leads vs clefable). Which is also why I need heatran to be timid and max speed, to handle pokemon like bisharp, heatran, and most of the time excadrill). Defog on latias is a good suggestion, I'll take it into consideration but need to think latias only running two moves, not ideal for an offensive team. Surf lets me hit heatran and gliscgor without having to switch(with every pokemon being weak on defense I need minimal switches). And with 3 pokemon having levitate, and 1 having magic guard, and another 1 having balloon, hazards are not that big of a deal that I need to use up a move slot(and more importantly a turn) using defog.

Thanks for the review.

You want a Careful nature on that Scizor so you can take two Focus Blasts from Mega Gardevoir on Stealth Rock.

Replace Giga Drain and Focus Sash with Focus Blast and Life Orb on Gengar, without Focus Blast, you invite Bisharp to come in on you and trap you with Pursuit. Your risk missing, but it is well worth the risk.

Keep Heatran with an offensive spread, Calm Heatran is a complete waste on an offensive team. That being said, I think Taunt > Roar on Heatran is a better option, as it allows you to go head-on with stallbreaker Mew. Fire Blast > Lava Plume does a lot more damage, especially on Mega Heracross, whom Heatran needs to be able to outspeed an OHKO.

I am not sold on Azelf as a Choice Scarf user. While it is fast, such a fast Choice Scarf users really are not needed; for example, Choice Scarf Garchomp and Terrakion are only good at cleaning and revenging Zard X. Rather, you would be better off with a Choice Scarf Landorus-T, which offers a lot more defensive synergy than Azelf, and also hits harder.

Landorus-Therian (M) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 Atk / 16 Def / 240 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge
- Superpower
- U-turn

This team gets spat on by Greninja at the moment; I want to advise replacing Clefable with Thundurus, but I am undecided if that is the best decision, as Thundurus cannot even reliably revenge kill it. I will get back to you on that.

For now, make these changes, and you should be fine. Good luck!
