Rate my team please (4th gen)

Hey guys this is my first team. I've been watching my friend battle for a while and learned a lot about matchups and different styles that everyone uses. Well.. here it is:

Lead:
376.png

Metagross: Occa Berry/Adamant/Clear Body
252 HP/252 Atk/4 Spe

Explosion, Bullet Punch, Earthquake, Stealth Rock

Typical Metagross lead.. Occa berry because it cant get OHKO by any move. I like this because then I can get rocks up and either switch out or cause a dent in opposing pokemon if I don't get hurt. I am open to changing my lead I've faced some problems from a few different sets.

Special Wall:
blissey_by_SailorClef.jpg

Blissey: Leftovers/Bold/Natural Cure
252 HP/252 Def/4 Spe

Aromatherapy, Seismic Toss, Softboiled, Thunder Wave

Again a pretty standard Blissey.. I really don't really know what else to say about it. Aromatherapy has been a HUGE plus for this set especially because I don't usually switch in Blissey until about midway through the battle.

Physical Wall:
472Gliscor.png

Gliscor: Leftovers/Jolly/Sand Veil
252 HP/252 Spe/4 Def

Earthquake, Toxic, Roost, U-turn

This Gliscor is a complete beast. I can use it to switch in on opposing fighting moves to Blissey and my Tyranitar (see below). I used to have taunt instead of Toxic but I don't really like Taunt as a move and Toxic+Roost is amazing. Sand Veil is a HUGE plus especially since after my Metagross dies, I bring in this guy:

Physical Attacker:
Tyranitar__s_cookie_by_MasterOfGeckos.jpg

Tyranitar: Choice Scarf/Jolly/Sand Stream
252 Atk/252 Spe/4 HP

Crunch/Flamethrower/Stone Edge/Superpower

I love bringing in this guy after my lead dies because it does 2 things: one, its ability allows Gliscor's evasion to increase when he comes in and 2: with choice scarf it outspeeds anything with Base Speed 115 and below. The beauty of Choice is that I can just switch out to Gliscor when an obvious fighting move is coming and lose next to nothing.

Special Attacker:
ani245.gif

Suicune: Leftovers/Timid/Pressure
252 Spe/252 SpA/4 SpD

Calm Mind, HP Electric, Ice Beam, Surf

This guy can sweep an entire team if he gets 1-2 calm minds up. Also, with leftovers, the sandstorm generated by Tyranitar is neutralized and he doesn't lose any HP. I can bring him in on an expected water/fire move against Gliscor, Metagross, or my Jirachi (see below). And when the opponent switches, I can get a calm mind up. With most electric attacks being special anyway, Suicune can eat up Thunderbolts from almost anything after a Calm Mind. This along with its moveset allows it to hit any Pokemon at least Neutral.

Mixed Attacker:

Jirachi: Expert Belt/Naive/Serene Grace
252 Atk/252 Spe/4 SpD

Iron Head, Grass Knot, Zen Headbutt, Thunderbolt

This Guy is amazing. People get pissed at the whole paraflich thing, but this is a different jirachi, a pure attacking one. It's not a pure Mixed Attacker, as there are no EV's allotted to SpA, but I found the max EV's in Attack are much better. Most of the time, I found that I am using iron head/zen headbutt a whole lot more than grass knot/thunderbolt and also when i do use them, they are always super effective so I really don't need the extra EV's.

I guess it is sort of a Sandstorm team but I assure you I did not mean it to be. It just so happened that I loved the Tyranitar/Gliscor combo and I chose Jirachi as my last pokemon. Anyway please rate my team; any suggestions are welcome!

Choice Scarf Gengar could but some serious damage on this team. He is able to OHKO Gliscor and Tyranitar if your opponent was smart enough to put HP(Ice) and Focus Blast on his move list. He can also finish off the remainder of your team if it has been weakened, excluding Blissy which is a good counter for him. Metagross is capable of finishing him off, but since he is your lead he might be KOed before Gengar ever comes out. There is no good way to prevent this so just battle smart and watch for him. If you do that he won't cause you too much trouble. Also try Wish on Blissy, he pass nice Wishes to your Suicune or Jirachi which are pretty defensive Pokemon and could use the extra boost to effectively sweep.
Good Luck, Dragone

The best way to handle Gengar is to put Pursuit somewhere on your Tyranitar, probably over Flamethrower. Then, he can switch in on a predicted Shadow Ball and OHKO whether he decides to switch or not. Also, you have a small Infernape problem, so I would run Earthquake over Superpower, allowing you to revenge him effctively without Glisocr taking a big hit.

Intentionally or not, your team seems very defensive. All your pokemon have great bulk and cause lots of switches. To fully capitalize on this, I would try to fit more entry hazards on, which allow Tyranitar and Suicune to do their jobs better. First, I'd replace your Metagross with a Forretress. Forry can lay down all three hazards, as well as spin them away. This is a huge boon for your team, as it is crazy weak to Toxic Spikes. I'd run this set:

205.png

Forretress@Focus Sash/Leftovers
Impish Nature, 252HP/252 Sp.D/4 Def
Spikes
Stealth Rock
Payback
Rapid Spin

The EVs let you take neutral Special attacks pretty well, allowing you to get your hazards down. Fire types destroy you anyways, but that's what Tyranitar and Suicune are for. Forretress should be played much more conservatively than Metagross, as he can serve as a wall late game especially if you opt for Wish on your Blissey (but more on that later)

With all these new hazards, the last thing you want is for all of them to be removed by Rapid Spin. So, I recommend replacing your MixRachi with a Rotom-W. RestTalk Rotom can act as a status absorber in addition to blocking Rapid Spin and beating common Spinners such as Starmie one-on-one. Here's the Smogon set:

479-washa.png

Rotom-W@Leftovers
Bold Nature, 252HP/120Def/136 Sp.D
Rest
Sleep Talk
Discharge
Hydro Pump/Will-O-Wisp

Discharge can cause lots of paralysis, while Hydro Pump and Will-O-Wisp provide coverage/status respectively. Rest when necessary and Sleep Talk away. Last but not least...

Replace Softboiled/Aromatherapy/Thunder Wave with Wish/Toxic/Protect on Blissey. Unfortunately, Wish and Aromatherapy aren't compatible on Blissey. Now that you have a dedicated status absorber, Aromatherapy is less necessary. Wish, on the other hand, helps your team stay fresh throughout the battle, while Toxic can slowly wear down your opponent's walls. Protect lets you stall for Poison/Burn damage and scout choice users.

So, a quick recap:
Forretress>Metagross
Rotom-W>Jirachi
Wish Blissey>Aromatherapy Blissey

I hope this helps, and good luck!

You have a weakness to ground types apart from Gliscor Therefore I advise changing your lead to
Azelf

487.png

Azelf @ Focus Sash
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Spe / 252 SpA
Naive Nature (+Spe, -SpD)
- Fire Blast / Psychic
- Explosion
- Stealth Rock
- Taunt

Your Jirachi is not very mixed as youve invested nothing into SpA and both your STAB attacks are Physical

At the moment Empoleon resists all of your 3 attackers STAB attacks
Also It is not very common to se a Physical and a Special wall separate as many pokes are running mixed sets nowadays. I advize you replace Gliscor with a mixed wall (see the "know your walls" section of this page: http://www.smogon.com/dp/articles/wall_breaking#ou) Also experiment using different versions of T-Wave Blissey as Blissey Is the Best known counter for both Gengar and Empoleon, two of the biggest threats to your team.
