Rate the team i consider to be good...

This is my most recent team. Ive used it on shoddy for like two weeks and it had more wins than losses. I feel this team can still be improved since i sometimes have trouble winning.

Gengar (M) @ Wide Lens
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 6 HP/252 Spd/252 SAtk
Timid nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Shadow Ball
- Focus Blast
- Substitute
- Hypnosis

My lead. I like this set since its rarely used and it works good. After a hypnosis i can sub up after my opponent switches to a counter and i attack while they try to break my sub.

Gallade (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Steadfast
EVs: 48 HP/252 Atk/18 Def/192 Spd
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- X-Scissor
- Swords Dance
- Close Combat
- Shadow Sneak

My first physical sweeper. I love this guy since he has a lot of opportunities to swords dance while they switch to a ghost or psychic type like gengar or deoxys only to get OHKOed with shadow sneak. Also x scissor OHKO celebi and maybe cresselia that arent max hp/def.

dpmfa134.png

Vaporeon (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Water Absorb
EVs: 188 HP/252 Def/60 SAtk/8 SDef
Bold nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Wish
- Surf
- Hidden Power [Electric]
- Protect

Main scarf and specs heatran counter and also gyarados. Wish for healing itself and healing my two life orb users. Hp elec obiviously for gyara and so other water types. Also good nape counter.

dpmfa145.png

Zapdos @ Leftovers
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 HP/22 SAtk/220 SDef/ 16 Speed
Calm nature (+SDef, -Atk)
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Thunderbolt
- Sleep Talk
- Rest

Some what special tank and status absorber. Switches in on gengar without too much problem since it doesnt even get 2koed by a specs shadow ball so its pretty good. Also good to stall out opponents with low pp moves like CC and megahorn.

Magnezone @ Leftovers
Ability: Magnet Pull
EVs: 156 HP/98 Spd/236 SAtk/20 SDef
Modest nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Thunderbolt
- Magnet Rise
- Substitute

One of my favorite steel types that pwns. It can take out almost every steel apart from heatran and faster metagross. It kills bronthong that walls my late game sweeper and takes out vappy and unboosted suicune. Substitute for those that try to status me and for obvious switch outs.

dpmfa473.png

Mamoswine (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Snow Cloak
EVs: 252 Atk/236 Spd/22 Sp Atk
Naive nature (+Spd, -SpDef)
- Blizzard
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge
- Ice Shard

My late game sweeper, and one of my favorites. It OHKO every dragon that isnt holding yache berry with ice shard. Blizzard for harder hitting and slower pokes like gliscor and celebi. Earthquake rapes anyone weak to it and stone edge can take out gyarados that arent faster than it. Also takes out unexpecting lucarios that think they are faster.

So this is my team. Please rate, comment, and give tips on how to improve it. I really like this team and i tried to improve it myself but i havent had too much luck with that. Thnx for teh help.

Since you're already using a Life Orb, I recommend switching Mamoswine's nature to Naive and the spare HP EVs to Sp. Attack with Blizzard (or even Ice Beam if you're worried about the accuracy) over Ice Fang. You keep your main physical attacks, but will be doing considerably more to physical walls such as Celebi, Hippowdon and Donphan. With Blizzard you'll 2HKO Skarmory and Weezing, as well.

Zapdos should have atleast 16 Speed EVs to outrun max Speed Adamant Breloom.

Try something like Psychic for Gengar instead of Substitute for opposing Gengars as Hypnosis and Sub,aren't always fool proof.

Hypnosis with wide lens is guaranteeing 72% (or 70 depending how the accuracy system works),so Psychic might be worth giving a shot just to see how ya get on.

I honestly fail to see the point of Magnezone here. The only steels it's effectively trapping are Skarmory, Forretress and Bronzong. Pretty much the other 5 members of the team wins against Skarmory and Forretress, and 4 of the other 5 wins against Bronzong. Heatran, Metagross and Lucario are pretty much the only other steels used and you won't be switching Magnezone into them anytime soon.

However, there seems to be a slightly Lucario weakness, who is capable of doing quite a bit to the team. With that said, your own Gyarados over that slot isn't a bad idea. It helps with Lucario, backs up Zapdos even more so in taking Heracross hits, and it's not like it fears Skarmory/Bronzong/Forretress either so the lack of Magnezone won't go in vain etc etc.

I hate seeing Blizzard on non-Hail teams. Why do it? Why wouldn't you just switch out, to something that can handle the threat instead of possibly losing your wall breaker. This is another one of those teams where I feel CB Mamoswine fits much better than LO. First of all, Zapdos absolutely ass rapes Skarmory, Forretress, and to an extent, Bronzong since Gyro Ball won't even do 25%. Magnezone completely nullifies the steel threat, tho I agree it is a wasted slot here. SD Gallade OHKOs Skarmory, Bronzong, AND Forretress, and you should try and focus around a Gallade sweep, not some unreliable P.O.S. move.

yea well i had magnezone to help out against with vaporeon and suicune but i guess zapdos can help out a bit with those two. Also for magnezones place i feel gyarados would do a little bad since i would have 2 pokes weak to stealth rock and i have no spinner =/
