"Raw" Hot Dogs

Anyone else like to eat these? I've always liked them, my mom does too. People see me eating them and go "ewwwwww" but what they do not realize is those hot dogs you buy in the store are already pre-cooked. So really I'm not eating raw hot dogs, just cold hot dogs. Oh well I guess that could be considered gross too but I want to know if anyone else out there eats them that way.
 
Yeah, I think they taste better cold too. I started eating them cold because I was too lazy to cook them, but now I just do it because they're a lot nicer that way. This is kinda like the cookie dough thing.
 
It's just basically bologna, which happens to be my favorite food ever. Yeah, I prefer them right out of the package.

wouldn't bacteria or something grow after a while? Might want to cook if it's been opened already...
 
I don't like them raw. On the contrary, as a Chicagoan who is proud of his city's hot dogs, I like them in their small intestine natural casing, charred to complete, black perfection.

but I've never tried raw hot dogs, grilled is the best way.
 
I do not like a lot cold, but hot dogs cold are fine.

I think hot dogs are pre-cooked, so I would not be too afraid of mold (unless you leave out on the table for a few days.)

OT: Something about cold hot dogs is repulsive to me.
 
Yeah, Ive tried eating cold hotdogs too, paired with hot rice, the only diff. thing about eating cold hotdogs from hotdogs that are hot and cooked is that they are much less in oil, meaning less fatty.
 
I'd only eat raw hotdogs if I was either really lazy or didn't have a microwave (which is the equivalent of being lazy, but having the will to make myself lunch with no effort).

I just never liked "cold" meat, just feels dissatisfying for me.

Wow, they are actually really nice. However, I think they are nicer hot.
 
I'm at both ends of the spectrum, I either eat them raw (and they do taste like bologna), or blackened to a crispy, ashy crisp. With mustard both ways of course.

man, i love raw hot dogs but for some reason can't stand bologna. probably because it was all i ate as a child
 
Did you know if you take bologna slices and stick them on someone's car and let them bake in the sun during the day, when they peel off they take all the paint with them?
