Porygon
- Ice Beam
- Thunderbolt
- Thunder Wave
- Recover

This digital duck is no meme! A more recent revelation since Normal-types were discovered to block Body Slam paralysis, Porygon is one of very few Pokemon capable of reliably walling tier titan Snorlax. With 32 PP on Recover and just enough Speed to outrun it, Porygon can take Body Slams until Snorlax runs out of them in comical fashion. With the coveted BoltBeam coverage, it can land a cheeky freeze or hit Pokemon like Rhydon, Starmie, and Exeggutor for a good chunk of damage.

To wall Snorlax successfully, attack when Porygon is over 62% health, or 44% if it is apparent Snorlax does not have Hyper Beam. Spam Recover otherwise. This'll let Porygon make progress and make Snorlax more inclined to switch out, allowing Porygon to sneak a Thunder Wave in. Don't let Porygon take paralysis itself though, or it's little more than death fodder! You'll be switching it out a lot!

For a good showing of what Porygon can do, here's Heroic Troller piloting it to great success in Week 7 of SPL XIII!

Porygon only needs to recover at that HP range before Snorlax's set is scouted. If the Snorlax reveals it doesn't have Hyper Beam, it can afford to attack instead of recovering as long as Porygon's has atleast 146 HP/44% (145/43.5% is Body Slam's max damage). If Snorlax uses Ice Beam, that usually means Snorlax is running Body Slam / Ice Beam / Reflect / Rest and doesn't have Hyper Beam.
