Rules:
  • Sleep Clause.
  • Self-KO Clause.
  • Freeze Clause.
  • Battle Timeout.
  • No Stadium Mode, Level Balance or Challenge Cup.
  • No GSC Tradebacks.
  • Repetitive Pokemon (Species Clause) is not allowed
  • Evasion moves (Double Team, Minimize) are banned, exception being if an evasion move is selected via Metronome.
  • OHKO moves (Horn Drill, Fissure, and Guillotine) are banned, exception being if an OHKO move is selected via Metronome.
  • Other specifications, such as Applying PP Ups and Show Enemy HP may be used if both parties consent to it.
  • Mew and Mewtwo are banned.
  • Randomized teams of 3 will be made resulting in 16 teams. These teams will battle each other in Double Elimination format.

You have to be registered at Bracketmaker though, but its a 1-step registration so I think it should do fine. This is cooler as it actually gives points for correct predictions.

Oh man I am going to need a win out of one of you two. I say Aeolus beats holyknight, and of course I win.

The semis will be tight, but Aeolus wont lose to MoP twice. :)

And imo either way the winner of the semi takes the final as 180.ROGER cannot get lucky forever!
 
Aeolus vs Holyknight is the key match imo. Jackal and Chronicles should win the other 2 imo.

Also, if the winner of (HK's team/Aeo and Jackal's team) vs 0rz's team beats Noobster's team, that team will have to beat Noobster's team again to win it all, right?
 
I hate how my team got screwed by the absence of a teammate which was randomly picked =(

Um, what? Noobster's team (aka the best) hasn't lost a single match yet. And this is a double elimination tournament, meaning that you need to lose twice be knocked out. I know you are the tournament director, but that's how Double Elimination matches are always gone through with.
 
I can get on for today and tomorrow, but after that i would be going overseas for around two weeks, during which i cannot battle, so i hope we can get this over really quickly.
 
Also Double Elimination tournaments tend to let the players in the winner's bracket not have to play in odd numbers of rounds after Round 1. This is how it would have gone:

Round 1: 16 teams in the Winner's Bracket
Round 2: 8 teams in the Winner's Bracket, 8 teams in the Loser's Bracket. 4 teams from the loser's bracket are eliminated, 4 teams from the winner's bracket are knocked into the loser's bracket.
Round 3: Winner's Bracket doesn't play. The 4 teams that remained in the loser's bracket, and the 4 teams that were knocked into the loser's bracket play. 4 of them are eliminated.
Round 4: 4 teams in the Winner's Bracket, 4 teams in the Loser's Bracket. 2 teams from the loser's bracket are eliminated, 2 teams from the winner's bracket are knocked into the loser's bracket.
Round 5: Winner's Bracket doesn't play. The 2 teams that remained in the loser's bracket, and the 2 teams that were knocked into the loser's bracket play. 2 of them are eliminated.
Round 6: Winner's Bracket finals. The last two teams in the Loser's Bracket play, then the one that loses there is eliminated. The team in the Winner's Bracket that is knocked into the Loser's Bracket plays the winning team from the Loser's Bracket.
Round 7: The Winner's Bracket final team doesn't play. The two teams in the Loser's Bracket play. The team that loses there is eliminated. This leaves one team in both brackets.
Round 8: The final team from the Winner's Bracket, and the final team from the Loser's Bracket play. If the team from the Loser's Bracket wins, that team is knocked into the Loser's Bracket and they play again. That time, the winner of that match wins it all.

I may be wrong but iirc that's how it all goes down.
 
Dynamo could only fit my time on day after I am leaving(today), which means i cant battle in 2 weeks, maybe we can get a slight deadline extention here?
 
I saw fool hi on nb, told him we had to battle, he replied saying he thought he was disqualified, I said no your team advanced and we have to battle, he said ok. He finishes his battle and signs off -________-;;;

Also eww I dont want to wait like 3 weeks. Hopefully me and aeolus can both win so the third match is irrelevant.
 
Chronicles is away on vacation. Fool_Hi doesn't care about the match now. Jackal pmed him and Fool_Hi thought he was eliminated. After understanding that he wasn't he simply hasn't tried to do anything. Im giving this match to Jackal's team and moving on.

lol so much for random. And really the other team saying they cannot get ahold of me or aeolus is like a fat guy saying he can't find his dick. It is ALWAYS there, but you just have to put in a little effort to find it!

MoP I'm on Smogon nearly all of the time I go on NB, so I'm not that hard to find. I'm in GMT though, but on Saturday and Sunday it should be okay. We can set up a time if you want to.
