  • Schedule via Smogon VMs. It's easier for us to make decisions for activity calls when we can actually see what went down with scheduling.​
  • If you are unable to schedule with your opponent, please let your managers know ASAP so they can communicate that to us or the other team's managers for a potential substitute.​
  • When making a substitution, please tag myself, the managers of the opposing team, and all of the players affected by the substitute to ensure that everyone is made aware. Players who have already played in the week or were subbed out in the same week cannot be subbed back in.​
  • If a match remains incomplete by the time of the deadline, it will be subject to an activity call.​
  • Replays are mandatory. Not only are they useful for confirming wins, but they also contribute to usage stats and allow the people who couldn't watch the games live to watch them later.​
  • To managers: Please send us your lineups in the same format that we used to post pairings. It makes it much easier to post future rounds more quickly.​
  • All formats are Best of 3 with the exception of RBY 1v1 which is a Best of 7.​
  • Please note in NC97, No two Pokémon can be asleep, if you put multiple to sleep, you lose.​

Week 3 Highlights. Already a game played on Tuesday, huh.

Stadium OU: Toxin Boost vs NotVeryCake
This is the second matchup of RBYOMPL that represents a finals rematch from a recent RBY OM major tournament. Toxin and Cake last encountered one another in the finals of Stadium OU Open III, in a set that Cake took 2-0. I believe Toxin has since spent a good amount of time theorycrafting for this tier, so I expect this set to look a bit different from the last one, regardless of whether that means he wins or loses. I look forward to this set and seeing who gets on the board first in this tournament.

Stadium OU: Mikon vs Shellnuts
Mikon has been off to a dominant 2-0 start this tournament, standing alongside only Hayburner as a player that has played both weeks and hasn't dropped even a single game (we're only two weeks in and this is already a stat). A trademark triple Psychic core plus a Tauros has brought her to four rather commanding wins in fairly low turn counts, at least by Stadium standards. Shellnuts finds himself starting for the first time in this tournament this week, in what is perhaps an unexpected tier. Shellnuts has some history in the other alternate RBY OU, I believe most notably taking the Tradebacks Spotlight back in 2021, but I couldn't find too many records for him in Stadium OU. He has a good track record for picking up RBY's lesser-played tiers pretty quickly though, so I suspect he'll put together some solid teams and put up a good fight. Should be another good set.
Also, I need to briefly publicly shame gastlies for benching herself this week, as she has inadvertently halved the number of games this week that feature two 2-0 players going head-to-head. Very lame, tsk tsk.

RBY SU: Maris Bonibell vs Amaranth
There's not too much to say about this one. Both players have looked strong so far and seem to have good support from their teammates. I'm not expecting any crazy builds or anything, just a high-quality tight set between good players. Definitely worth the watch if you can catch it.

So a weird situation occured, where my opp started having connection and PC issues and forfeited the game prematurely.
Afterwards, she was unable to reconnect to PS or have access at all.
I am willing to schedule for later today, but I am not free on monday and tmrw I am also unsure about my availability yet.
I really do not want to take the act win, but if rescheduling is impossible, I will take it.
