Fragments thanks for being my right hand man, brought good vibes and a reliable presence on managerial duty. Big environment contribution despite not being especially an RBY expert - very happy I decided to go with you and will happily run this back next year
Ulti Bastion 4-3 against consistently toughest (and more expensive) OU opponents AND clinching the tournament win, you're a boss. You know better than anyone that you still have room to improve and I'm really happy I got a chance to help you on your path, you know how to take this even forward. Don't know how many people would have managed to do what you did in your slot for your price, a hard carry in your own way even if "4-3" might not look too crazy. GL in 2026, you can still grow so much more.
Diegolh Was nice to have another dinosaur with me. You're still sharp after a long inactivity, the only things that slowed you down was crazy irl which you rightfully focused on in the middle of the season, but you came back and won for playoffs when it really mattered. Hope to see you around a while longer, ik you're not too serious about the game anymore but clearly still a killer, was fun to team with you and will be fun to play with/against you in the future
London Beats Extremely tilting season for you personally but you still had good performances throughout, your record is a big lie and you know that as well. Still a player of your talent has room to grow in this tier and maybe I was not the ideal manager style for that, hopefully the trophy is a good enough apology and you will find more individual success in future tournaments. Big love
SpoiledBerries If the season ended before you mental boomed you wouldve been MVP of the tournament hands down lol. But we've talked a lot about that and I saw your progress throughout, next time it happens you will be better prepared and hopefully with more time and experience you learn how to keep your top level consistently. Even with the dubious last ~month you were a standout of the team for your price, if the game doesn't make you lose your mind first you will definitely become a top player before too long. Make yourself retain worthy ahead of next year please
dangerk1d The playoff k1d omfg. To start 0-3 bench, not get demoralized, keep grinding, and come back to a 4-4 record including 2-0 in playoffs is insane work for a basically min price buy. I had a feeling from watching your GSC and reading your entrance exam you'd have potential to just absolutely kill it even though you might need a bit to switch into your RBY gears, and that's exactly what happened. Obvi there's still room to grow since this is one of your first forays into the tier, but the signs are so so promising and your wins in playoffs were SO hype. I've loved everyone, but your wins filled me with joy and adrenaline most of all. SO fucking good. Keep up your attitude to the game, only a matter of time before you level up drastically (and you're already good enough to clutch tournament wins!!)

ThatOneApple As I've just told you in Discord, after seeing the pools and seeing that most of the on-paper top UU opposition was not playing I knew you were especially likely to get a top half placement - and not at all shocked to see number 1. Keep at it and back yourself, you're still a bit green (haha green apple joke or whatever) but you grind and click better than a lot of the UU playerbase and the results make it very evident
Toxin Boost I lowkey wanted to NU this tournament but your results were way too ridiculous for 15k and when I got you for that price I just knew you'd deliver again. And of course you did. We don't see eye to eye on a lot of high level situations which just makes me excited for the future of NU (even though it's getting killed imminently by drops/updates rip). It was insightful to hear your takes, I hope you know how much it means, with the kind of person that I am, that when you disagreed with me about something I said "if you feel this way I trust you" instead of vetoing lmfao. Let's keep pushing the tier forward, we did it as allies, now we will do it as enemies
ButtGallon The god gallon. I knew from scouting I 100% wanted you in my team for any reasonable price, workhorse with decent results and proficient at multiple lowtiers, couldn't believe my eyes at 7.5. I knew you'd outwork and outskill people left and right and you did exactly that, I was barely any use in PU but hopefully you appreciated my little pitch ins and game reviews. We've already chatted a bunch about this tournament and I'm just really happy we got this good ending together. See you around brother
Lady Writer I told Fragments pre tournament I was not taking any chances on a potentially middle-of-the-pack Rands slot when I knew I had a guaranteed top-of-the-pack in you. Top price for top record, no regrets. You got memed in playoffs but that's pokemon. A lot of people still don't understand how ridiculous you are at the game I think, maybe another tournament like this under the belt will keep moving the needle. In the meantime I'll gladly keep drafting you lmao. See you around in Rands too bud
phoopes it's the ghoopes. we already talked in private, but now that it's all over it really does sting that you played flat zero games lol. you're better than that. just the magic of teamtours and unfortunate coincidences I suppose. it was still GREAT as a manager to know you were there if anything went tits up, but I wish I had space to let you earn a proper slot as well. My fault for drafting too many talented players ahead of you man. A sub that's reliable, brings good vibes, and doesn't complain about 0 games is just about the dream for a manager. Still think you can push your level of play further so hopefully we see some of that in individuals 2026, DM me for OU help anytime
Brom91k I'm glad I was able to give you a direct experience of high level RBY, even if perhaps it was too soon. You have a better brain for the game than you give yourself credit for - with more practice I am sure you will unlock it and level up massively. Hope to see you around more buddy.
DD Joe It's a profoundly shit experience to be the guy that starts on bench and gets randomly chucked into emergencies, you need to be a true miracle maker to pull it off and it wasn't to be for you here, but neither I nor anyone is going to hold that against you. Hope the ring is a good enough apology, wish you all the best in your current and future tournaments.
BeeOrSomething gastlies Wanted in 49 States Thanks for hopping in for finals, lightened my workload a little bit. Draft better and meet me in finals directly next year though bozos.
To all my players one last time: sorry if I'm too harsh of a critic at times. With RBY in particular, I try to draft people who want to be pushed to their best, and then I try to push them there. I think we won because virtually all of you reacted well to this style, and I'm thankful for that, but I also know it can be distressing at times. If I ever took it too far I'm sorry, and again, I hope the ring is a good apology. I hope you know it comes from a place of love and profound belief in your playing abilities.
GGs Wartortles, the quality of your team was evident and finals (as they often do) were truly on a coin's edge. Tough tough opponents and I will always love and respect people who bring that level of gameplay to the field, beyond all the stupid drama (which had good reasons to happen, but I don't want to twist the knife or relitigate again.)

For real though, thanks to the rest of the Haymakers for being great players and more importantly, great teammates. I had a ton of fun this RBYPL, very thankful to be drafted to a team this year, especially one that ended up winning the whole damn thing! Thanks again y’all and I look forward to playing RBY with and against y’all in the future (maybe even lower tiers because we were absolute DEMONS this year haha)

Like come on. That’s dedication. And also I promise you that we’re not talking 11k of fluff messages, Amaranth was in EVERY channel prepping, regardless of tier, offering high-level advice and team building to everyone. Including me through the simple act of reading what he was telling other players, through the act of RBY osmosis haha. I feel like I personally got a lot better at RBY this year even if results don’t really show it, and a big part of that is just sharing a server with someone who is this dedicated to and knowledgeable about the game. For real, thanks so much. You’re the best.
