I need a huge amount of help in platinum. Im looking to start competitive battling and im lost. Im used to playing story mode with pokemon i like, teaching them all strong moves and beating the game. Now i see thats its not about that but also using moves that help you like Swords dance, stealth rock, toxic spikes. I also found out about EV's and need a little bit of help on those and making a good team. If anyone can help me by explaining strategies to battle, EV's and whatnot id be EXTREMELY thankful. It'd also be a help if people could give me sample teams,all i really need is for someone to show me the ropes.
