Refrigerate (Regieleki) @ Heavy-Duty Boots / Never-Melt Ice
Ability: Refrigerate
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpA / 252 Spe
Hasty Nature
- Extreme Speed
- Rapid Spin
- Volt Switch
- Tera Blast / Thunderbolt

[SET COMMENTS]
An amazing Speed stat combined with Refrigerate earns Regieleki a niche as a spinner that cannot be spinblocked and a pivot that can threaten common Pokemon that block Volt Switch such as Garchomp and Great Tusk. Extreme Speed OHKOes Dragonite and offensive Garchomp and 2HKOes Roaring Moon and offensive Zapdos. Tera Blast 2HKOes defensive Great Tusk and chips defensive Kommo-o and Zapdos, while Thunderbolt can be used to better pressure Corviknight and Ice-resistant foes such as Manaphy, Iron Moth, and Heatran attempting to switch in. Heavy-Duty Boots lets Regieleki ignore the entry hazards it removes, while Never-Melt Ice lets Extreme Speed OHKO Hisuian Electrode and specially defensive Garchomp and lets Tera Blast 2HKO defensive Zapdos. Wallbreakers such as Ceruledge and Ogerpon-H appreciate Regieleki being able to safely pivot them in on Pokemon they threaten such as Iron Moth and Heatran while also removing the entry hazards they're weak to; in return, they can threaten the bulky Pokemon that Regieleki struggles to break through such as Scream Tail, Hisuian Goodra, and Volt Absorb Empoleon. Additionally, Regieleki's ability to outspeed and threaten Choice Scarf Azelf is valuable, as Azelf can OHKO the aforementioned wallbreakers after Stealth Rock chip. Regieleki's poor bulk makes it an unreliable entry hazard remover on its own; therefore it's recommended to pair it with another hazard remover such as Great Tusk, Corviknight, or Mandibuzz, with the latter two forming a VoltTurn core with the momentum they generate from their pivoting moves. Physical pivots such as Barraskewda, Roaring Moon, and Meowscarada are also recommended teammates, as they also create a VoltTurn core, while Regieleki lures in special walls such as Heatran, Meloetta, and Manaphy that they can force out.
