My idea with this team is a "weather control" team, although after trying it out it doesn't feel like it's quite fast enough.
My strategy for this is to choose to have Chi-Yu or Archaludon as my "main" pokemon for each match, each paired up with Ninetails/Peliper respectively as main support, with more flexible backup from Pachirisu and Indeedee.
Here's the team:
Chi-Yu @ Air Balloon
EVs: 252 Def / 252 SpA / 4 Spe
Ability: Beads of Ruin
Level: 50
Tera Type: Fire
Modest Nature
Heat Wave- Ruination- Hex- Will-O-Wisp
Archaludon @ Assault Vest
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Ability: Stamina
Level: 50
Tera Type: Grass
Timid Nature
Electro Shot- Flash Cannon- Solar Beam- Draco Meteor
Pelipper @ Focus Sash
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Ability: Drizzle
Level: 50Tera Type: Ground
Modest Nature
Hurricane- Tailwind- Wide Guard- Helping Hand
Ninetales @ Covert Cloak
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Ability: Drought
Level: 50
Tera Type: Grass
Timid Nature
Protect- Will-O-Wisp- Encore- Solar Beam
Pachirisu @ Choice Scarf
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Ability: Pickup
Level: 50
Tera Type: Ground
Timid Nature
Follow Me- Protect- Nuzzle- Electroweb
Indeedee (M) @ Psychic Seed
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Ability: Psychic Surge
Level: 50
Tera Type: Normal
Modest Nature
Encore- Trick Room- Fake Out- Psychic Noise
So far my main issue is speed control, especially against my arch nemesis Calyrex Ghost Rider.
This could just be a skill issue but it feels like the team isn't "efficient" enough to gain priority, and not quite tanky enough to handle a turn or two of setup.
Maybe I should swap the focus sash around to ninetails?
Feedback and strategy tips welcome!
