(It is a remake of my previous RMT because Magearna is ban and I changed a lot of things since the time I posted it)
Hey guys, here’s my 2nd ever RMT for this new metagame, a lot of cool mons are now here : Urshifu and Slowking-G Or Zapdos (even if he didn‘t get Defog). I also make sure this team will be viable even after possible Magearna ban !
As in SS OU (even if I‘ve never played SS), the combo Urshifu + Slowking-G Future Sight is definitely broken. While Urshifu can Wallbreak but stopped by Toxapex, Clodsire or Amoonguss, Future Sight destroys them, so Future Sight + Surging Strike or Close Combat can break the entire metagame especially Stall (Go To Hell Stall). Slowking-G is also a very good special tank, in particular, it can check Magearna (for the guys who are playing the current meta without the ban). (It can also remove Toxic Spikes when entering in the field)
Tera Fairy Slowking-G help the team against Specs or Scarf Hoopa-U which is the main issue of our team.
Now, in a team, there are 6 Pokémons ; Zapdos can keep momentum (with Volt-Switch) and check well Great Tusk (With or Without Ice Spinner), Dragapult, Landorus-T (Without Stone Edge), Sneasler (but it can poison us), Meowscarada, Urshifu and so on ! It can also lure Gholdengo and Kingambit with Heat Wave.
Great Tusk is a good Physical Tank with its high def stats, it is our main answer to Rain and Chien-Pao with tera Water even if tera water Garg is more useful. Earthquake is a good STAB to Cheap foes and to force Kingambit to switch (or to tera), Knock Off is very useful to knock out foe’s item like Leftovers, Heavy-Duty boots… Rapid spin allow him to remove hazards and stealth rock to put hazards. 148+ EVs in speed allow him to outspeed Chien-Pao, Walking Wake and Zoroark-H after 1 Rapid Spin.
Dragapult is our Special WallBreaker and cleaner, its high speed stat allow him to outspeed the entire meta and make good damage with its 2 STAB, Flamethrower lure Kingambit and Zamazenta, U-Turn allow him to be a reliable pivot.
Finally, Garganacl is our main answer to Skeledirge (which is going to be top tier with its ability to check a lot of the new mons), Gholdengo (with or without tera), Heatran, and so on ! Iron Defense + Body Press is probably the most broken set in the meta because Gholdengo Covert Cloak is not even use with Chien-Pao, Urshifu and Hoopa-U scarf that are very scary threats. As you probably understood, it is our ghost resist (we can cheap dragapult with salt cure too) !
