Remove the few inefficient ev spreads on the analysis

dunno where this goes, if it's in the wrong place then I do apologies.

Bassically I noticed there are a couple inneficiant ev spreads on the pokemon analysis.

Vaporeon
- Current: 188hp/252 defence/68 special defence
- Suggested: 252 hp/220 defence/36 special defence

still has a lefties number, and provides more duel bulk. I understand how this came about, as the 68 ev's used to be in speed, and they just got moved to special defence as no-one uses max speed rhyperior

Swampert:
- Current: 240 hp/216 defence/52 special defence
- Suggested: 252 hp/ w.e.

Maxing out Hp helps both defences, the only reason not to is if your weak to stealth rocks, or if your HP stat is over double both your defences. This particular case is pretty poor.

These are just a couple that I noticed, hope I helped. Again apologies if this is in the wrong section.

Controversial edits like these would go here, while grammatical changes would go here.

For these specific changes, Vaporeon already has a massive HP stat. Adding 16 extra HP doesn't do very much overall, so Vaporeon is better off with the EVs split between the defenses.

The same applies for Swampert. It has plenty of HP already, so adding that little bit does very little for Swampert's overall defenses.

In short, and to be blunt, we know what we're doing...

Vaporeon has massive HP and low defenses, throwing it all in HP makes it less able to take physical hits which is its primary purpose. Considering you completely arbitrarily pulled "220 def" and "36 sdef" as stat numbers out of thin air, I'm willing to say we've done our homework on this one a bit. The 68 speed gets Rhyperior but also Skarmory, which is a very big deal

Swampert is built that way to get 401 HP (leftovers number + Blissey hit survival) and that SR damage does less than 404 HP even with the resistance.

Improvement's great and all but if you're going to say spreads are inefficient make sure your own facts are backed up too!

Those numbers aren't arbitrary, the EV spread suggested in the op is a more ideal ev spread for overall bulkiness(252hp, 228def,28SpD is better however)

Yes, for overall bulkiness, but that's assuming Vaporeon is switching on on exactly equal physical and special hits. When you consider that it's not immune to most of the STAB Physical moves it comes in on versus Special, and that it's generally considered a physical tank, and that you want to allocate for Speed, taking from HP in lieu of physical defense just makes sense.

Lead Machamp's Dynamicpunch vs 188HP/252Def bold Vaporeon 39.5% - 46.4%
Lead Machamp's Dynamicpunch vs 252HP/228Def bold Vaporeon 39% - 46.1%

i don't see the point in giving it speed ev's

Regardless i wish this was a suggestion to replace the controversial edits topic by a subforum.
