Rendo's First RMT XD

Hello everyone this is Rendo. Since my trade thread slowed down I might as well make an RMT. This is a team I'm currently working on. Any help will be appreciated. So lets begin.

This is a standard BulkyGyara. This makes a great lead with its ability. I changed Waterfall/Stone Edge to Ice Fang/Earthquake for more type coverage.

This is MixApe, my favorite type of Ape. I like mixed pokemon becasue of thier ability to take down walls. I prefer to run HP Ice insted of Nasty Plot because I feel there is no time to use Nasty Plot. For a pokemon like Infernape every second counts. He can hit hard but can't take hits well. So I still might keep flamethrower even though fire blast could helps since i loose Nasty Plot.

A Life Orbed Heatran. Main purpose chagning it from choice scarf was fro mainly what Porky said Choice Itemed Heatran does get walled Easily. I went with Dragon Pulse on Heatran instead of Hidden Power Ice, because lets all face it, its very hard to to get the right HP on a legend (sorry Porky I don't want to try and get HPs but if I can find one I'll take Dragon Pulse out for it. I was thinking of Taunt so I'll ad that as well. I changed the IVs to big it for HP.

Your basic Forretress. Set up spikes and explode when your done. Rapid Spin to get rid of other spikes and. Also works great with Heatran. Anyone using a fire attack maybe making a very big mistake. I changed this again. I feel that Forretress's sole purpose id to just set up and go BOOM. Shed Shell will get me away from Magnzones.

Blissey is one crazy pokemon. Insane special attack and a ton of HP to make up for its lack of def. This ones a Standard Cleric. I took out aromatherapy for Ice Beam since the main purpose it can't run seismic toss only is because of ghosts and I have enough moves to take out dragons. And every team can't get enough paralysis support. I also changed the iv's, this spread will work better for me.

The mighty Mixpert. Can take an Intimidate and still have other moves in its arsenal. And Stealth Rocks is a great move for inflicting pain on pokemon that doesn't take damage from Spikes.

Yeah, earthquake and waterfall are terrible coverage. Stone edge > earthquake, for some decent coverage. It will be worth it, trust me. When something like ludicolo comes in (something that gyarados should be able to beat), you will be happy you have stone edge.

Pretty solid, but i'm going to suggest fire blast. Without NP flamethrower isnt doing much. Fire blast cam remedy the loss of NP.

Scarftran is lame, IMO. Tauntran, is the way to go. He is able to shut down things like cresselia, blissey and a few others. Scarftran is easily walled. HP grass is for swampert, electric is for gyarados and dragon pulse is for salamence, and dragonite switch ins.

Pretty good, toxic spikes is great, more useful than explosion. Earthquake maybe for things like Metagross.

I fixed the spread up a bit. It hits a nice leftovers number, decent defence and unbreakable SDef. Ditch one of the supporting moves for an attacking move, ice beam for things like salamence, shadow ball for gengars, mismagius(breaks a sub after 2 CMs) and dusknoir. Ghosts wall you easy if you lack a send attacking move.

Overall, not a bad team.
 
Stealth rock is better than toxic spikes, a guts heracross / machamp can take advantage of the poison otherwise
 
So you should not badly poison all your opponents grounded pokemon, effectively ruining most of their walls just because of the presence of two pokemon?

I use toxic spikes on my team and the pros outweigh the cons.
 
its ok Mr. Gigas I all ready have stealth rock on Swampert and I'll be setting up Spikes first and I'll probably have seen any Guts users before I set up the Toxic Spikes

Well, first of all, obligatory MixApe weak. It can take out 2/3 or your team, Blissey, Swampert, Forretress, and Heatran. It'll still give the last two, Gyara and Ape, trouble, so I would watch out for that. Possibly replace something with a dragon so it's either walled by the dragon or Swampert, since MixApes usually don't carry both Grass Knot AND HP Ice. Tentacruel is another option, but I don't see how it would fit well into this team.

Next, Forry doesn't seem to do much. It just sets up some Spikes and dies.

I don't really like Shadow Ball on Blissey. I'm not sure why, but it doesn't seem to accomplish much besides hurting ghosts a bit. But the majority of ghosts are special, so why would they switch in/stay in on Blissey anyways? Ice Beam is probably better, so it can hit the dragons that can really be a pain for this team (ScarfChomp in particular).

You should probably put in Nasty Plot on Infernape, because it causes a lot of switches due to its amazing wall-breaking abilities. If you can predict it right (which isn't hard), you can NP on the switch and it'll be a lot scarier for your opponent.
 
since Porky also suggested Ice Beam i'll use it and I guess i could get lucky and use Nasty Plot on Infernape saves me the trouble of breeding for Hidden Power and as for the infernape weakness I guess I could add a Chain-Chomp (I prefer mixed pokemon XD) over forretress I'd loose the spikes and toxic spikes and a BOOM but i still have Swampert to take physical hits. Any other suggestions on what I should do?

I took out Gyro Ball for Earthquake because of what Porky said and that it can help take out magnezones and if they get a bright idea or using magnet rise I can still run away with shed shell but at least leave Magnezone with some damage done. and I changed Explosion to Toxic Spikes because Forretress is easy to predict in that it'll use explosion after it sets up spikes so setting up toxic spikes will help.

I made some changes or went back to old ones since some of the changes I made didnt work out well. For example, in one of my battles if Forry had explosion it would have really helped my battle. And the old ev spread for Blissey has to low of an HP. So again please rate.
