Pet Mod Resetmons (COMPLETED!)

(RESUB)
:y/Kabutops:
Name: Retroach
Type:
bug.gif
bug.gif

Abilities: Download / No Ability (no hidden ability :P)
Stats: 65/98/62/92/92/131 (540 BST)
Movepool: Lunge, Facade, Recover, Discharge, Stealth Rock, Acrobatics, Hex, Heal Block
Appearance: Roach in the Gen 1 sprite style, inexplicably. Not Pheramosa-like but more classical Roach.
Flavor: have you ever licked a Game Boy cartridge?
Role: Kind of a sweeper da Download. Intentionally very fast with some useful rainbow coverage (AND PEBBLES) to make up for honestly kinda mid stats everywhere else.
Other Competitive Stuff: its special attack and special defense are the same ^u^

Name: Infercho
Type:
bug.gif
bug.gif

Abilities: Cursed Body / Frisk // Oblivious
Stats: 100/70/60/130/80/60 (500 BST)
Movepool: Hex, Fire Lash, Baton Pass, Heal Bell, Defog, Heal Block, Spirit Break, Leech Seed, Discharge
Appearance:
Little Paper Lantern (particularly the Chōchin) gremlin with a large stick. the stick has a lot of purple wisps on it.
Flavor: REALLY Hot Paper.
Role: statted like higher HP special breloom. Ghost/Fire is a pretty damn useful typing in this meta game because you Completely screw over Big Daddy of the metagame Chlorofill while also carrying a few neat resistances. Comically enough, it also can't hit Chlorofill reliably either without teching on Fire Lash, which is weak, or the resisted Discharge, which, comically enough, also incentivizes Chlorofill to use Cell Battery!

:Ariados::stonjourner:
Name: Arachedge
Type:
rock.gif
bug.gif

Abilities: Defiant / Dark Aura // Power Spot
Stats: 90/105/120/80/80/80 (555 BST)
Movepool: Brick Break, Lunge, Sticky Web, Baddy Bad, Rock Blast, Baton Pass, Stealth Rock, Gyro Ball.
Appearance: Stonehenge Spider..
Flavor: Rocks.
Role: STICKY WEB SETTER AND ABUSER. Can also work as a general Hazard setter.

Bad Dreams Yawn abuser.
.. some sort of Mega Evolution
-ate Ability Pokemon
Sheer Force Spirit Break

:sv/pheromosa:
Name: Entophasm (Ento + Phasm)
Type:
ghost.gif
bug.gif

Abilities: Contrary / Mimicry / Illusion
Stats: 85/95/70/75/91/114 (530)
Movepool: Lunge, Hex, Acrobatics, Sticky Web, Heal Block, Sludge Bomb, Facade, Spirit Break
Appearance: It's a ghostly humanoid insect creature, who I imagine would look very similar to pheramosa. It has a translucent white body, and multiple very long spindly appendages.
Flavor: Its body can turn fully invisible, and it can create tricks and illusion using its ghostly powers, to trick foes.
Role: Funky utility/offensive lead mon. It is unfortunate that this mon's only ghost STAB option is hex, which is a special attack. Illusion in general is an amazing ability. This is a pretty decent pokemon (i think at least). Contrary is also amazing in this meta, with moves like lunge, sticky web, apple acid, the list goes on. Mimicry is an option too i guess, I kinda just added it for flavour.

:sv/tapu fini:
Name: Tapu Waka (Tapu + Waka (hawaiian deity))
Type:
steel.gif
fairy.gif

Abilities: Screen Cleaner / Telepathy
Stats: 90/100/115/100/55/30 (510)
Movepool: Spirit Break, Gyro Ball, Defog, Heal Bell, Mist, Thousand Waves, Glitzy Glow,
Appearance: It has a similar body to the other tapus, with no defining features. It shell is grey and shaped like a crocodile head
Flavor: After ‘the great reset’ the tapu guardian quartet could no longer be found, instead the only tapu left is a husk of the other four, hollow and metallic.
Role: Bulky utility mon with disruptive moves like spirit break for stat lowers, thousand waves for trapping, defog for hazard control, etc. Also actually deals pretty great damage, considering that steel/fairy is an amazing offensive and defensive typing, and gyro ball is pretty strong off of this thing. Screen cleaner is a pretty good ability too, because (despite brick break also existing i guess) baddy bad and glitzy glow are on a lot of mons.

:sv/tauros-paldea-blaze:
Name: Bronghoul (Bronze + Ghoul)
Type:
steel.gif
ghost.gif

Abilities: Spicy Spray / Weak Armor / Orichalcum Pulse
Stats: 80/70/94/73/57/74 (448)
Movepool: Hex, Fire Lash, Gyro Ball, Recycle, Rock Blast, Lunge, Mist
Appearance: It's an ox with bronze skin and a long tail so it can use fire lash.
Flavor: It moves around using its ghostly possesion powers, and contains extremely high amounts of spectral heat stored within itself. Its skin is tough enough to take any blow, and even going near it can give insane burns. Wherever it moves, a large heatwave follows.
Role: Two absolutely OP abilities, with spicy spray and orichalcum pulse, spicy spray + hex is a cool little thing it can do, and orichalcum pulse is amazing, giving it high power fire lash AND effectively an attack stat of about 95. It acts as a physically defensive wall, though it's somewhat bad in special defense and speed (though in this meta a lot of mons are really slow, so the speed is actually pretty average) - plus it can have a lot of offensive pressure, as fire lash is an amazing move.

All of these Pokemon chosen not only attempt to combat many of the big tiers in various ways, but also helps to introduce more type variation and also giving "lesser" options ATM something more to do.

:raichu::impidimp:
Name: Blunderbolt (Blunder + Thunderbolt)
Type:
electric.gif
ghost.gif

Abilities: Volt Absorb / Tangled Feet | HA: Static
Stats: 62 HP / 70 Attack / 99 Defence / 100 Special Attack / 99 Special Defence / 120 Speed (550 Total)
Movepool: Aqua Ring, Discharge, Baddy Bad, Sludge Bomb, Baton Pass, Yawn, Defog, Facade
Appearance: A small mammalian like rodent with very large feet and a long upside down question mark for a tail.
Flavor: Blunderbolts are often found tripping over its own feet and tail
Role: Blazing fast speed stat, in combination with a good attacking stat and really good coverage makes Blunderbolt a new bombshell in the metagame, and I expect it to put on a show once it drops in the metagame. A fast Defog will also be useful for the utility of eliminating Screens (as well as standard hazard removal), especially since it's typing gives it a natural resistance to both screen setting moves.

:Gengar::corviknight:
Name: Spectrror (Spectre + Terror + Mirror)
Type:
electric.gif
electric.gif

Abilities: Perish Body | HA: Mirror Armor
Stats: 83 HP / 101 Attack / 83 Defence / 96 Special Attack / 93 Special Defence / 79 Speed (535 Total)
Movepool: Hex, Discharge, Scald, Aqua Ring, Mist, Gyro Ball, Defog, Rock Blast
Appearance: A floating mirror with its lower half obscured by green fog with a hazy black and purple gas ball inside resembling a face. The face has a big smiling grin but no eyes.
Flavor: N/A
Role: Spectrror adds a unique Steel type in the tier, one that also adds a good form of hazard removal. It's only form of recovery is Aqua Ring + Leftovers but it still is very effective considering how useful it's defensive typing is. The most interesting aspect of this Pokémon will definitely be its abilities, which directly interact with current day trends. Perish Body punishes Baton Pass pivoting and forces the users to abandon any potential boosts they may obtain throughout the fight + Aqua Ring, while Mirror Armor serves as a direct counterplay to the various stat drop inducing moves that litter the tier, making clicking them dangerous to do.

:meltan::Bellibolt:
Name: Mercuroid
Type:
electric.gif
electric.gif

Abilities: Liquid Ooze / Poison Touch | HA: Electromorphosis
Stats: 100 HP / 100 Attack / 100 Defence / 90 Special Attack / 90 Special Defence / 50 Speed (530 Total)
Movepool: Discharge, Gyro Ball, Stealth Rock, Lunge, Aqua Ring, Baton Pass, Spirit Break, Heal Block
Appearance: A sentient pile of mercury with static electricity arching off it and a few wires sticky out.
Flavor: N/A
Role: Mercuroid can either spread status with its combo of Discharge + Poison Touch physical options, shut down Leech Seed spam with Liquid Ooze, or be a major wallbreaking threat thanks to Electromorphosis Discharge nuking many things right now. It's slow enough that it can afford a negative speed nature to get the most out of Discharge and Gyro Ball as well.

Ability: Speed Boost / Weak Armor
Stats: 164 / 144 / 89 / 55 / 34 / 41

SLATE 6: OH, TYPES, WHERE ARTH THOU?
"A recent checkup on a mutated Fakemon today showed some very amazing results...as we had predicted, they had mutated so much that they could no longer be considered their original species, as 99.85485% of their original DNA had been wiped out simply by teaching it a new move. Are we seeing natural selection in front of us, how moves shaped a Pokémon to begin with? We have also grown concerned that our theories that the scientist who caused all this might still be alive, and thus we are planning an expedition to his burnt down laboratory where he taught every Pokémon "Remember". Hopefully, with Pokémon by our side again, we might have the courage to finally explore the outside world, which we have not contacted for months now, and find out how exactly this terrible, devestating move could have made everyone forget. After all...we believe...this is all happening for a reason."
This is a file provided to us by the parents of the brave scientists who saw the outside world for the first time in months. It was written the day before their expedition began, but it appeared they didn't know about the fact that Mewtwo's essence was used in the move "Remember"...as made evident that, to this day, the scientists are still yet to be found.

With the first pieces of the puzzle aligned, it's time to find out what the next sections are...the next three additions will be decided through this sixth slate, but of course, like the previous five, it's up to you to decide who these additions are!

Abilities: Spicy Spray / Swarm
Stats: 70/90/70/90/60/130 (510)
Movepool: Spirit Break, Lunge, Sludge Bomb, Fire Lash, Glitzy Glow, Defog
Appearance: A beetle creature with an orange body and shiny pink/purple shell (exoskeleton? idk what it's called).
Flavor: Bombreath blast foes with a magical toxin spray when provoked, causing powerful burns.
Role: Disruptive utility mon, with access to light screen, hazard removal, and stat drops in both its moves and the powerful ability spicy spray. This would also be the fastest mon in the meta, with a blitzing 130 speed.

resubmitting this bc i think it still could fit into the metagame + is ghost type

Abilities: Contrary / Mimicry / Illusion
Stats: 85/95/70/75/91/114 (530)

Name: Gen6Gar

poison.gif

Abilities: Levitate
Stats: 60/65/60/130/75/110
Movepool: Sludge Bomb, Hex, Baddy Bad, Heal Block, Defog, Yawn, Mist
Appearance: A slightly outdated Gengar. Still wears Uggs.
Flavor: A slightly outdated Gengar. Still likes Coldplay.
Role: A bit of low-hanging fruit for designing a Ghost, but I don't think the obvious answer is always a bad one. Status STAB + Hex is a solid design space for a reason, and I went with Poison for three reasons. One, paralysis and burns are more annoying. Two, enemy Poisons and Steels provide counterplay. Three, it matches up very well into Chlorofill.

I did avoid going for Merciless, because it really doesn't need the extra damage. The felt both even less creative + overkill, potentially swapping one problem out for another. Corrosion also doesn't do much here other than letting you poison Poisons with your resisted Sludge Bombs, because the lack of Toxic means that Steel types are still immune. Instead, I decided that honestly what this mon wanted most was just Levitate. It helps get rid of a new weakness that it got by becoming Poison, which is actually a really important one for this mon. First, Ghost types in theory should be one of the solutions to Ground's inherent trapping abilities, so having the only or one of the only Ghosts available be weak to Ground would be kind of limiting. On top of that, we incidentally have a Poison Heal mon in the meta that a Ghost type should counter, but that mon is Ground and thus Gen6Gar really don't want to be weak to its STAB.

I included Baddy Bad as a mostly-redundant coverage move that instead serves as a pseudo-replacement for the lack of Wisp in addition to its utility options. I considered Scald but I think that makes it too strong into Grounds and also removes the whole point of Hex abusing status in that matchup.

My, my, at this rate with the right votes we'll have this type problem fixed in no time...but this is your reminder that you have until Thursday to get your submissions in! Complete them before it's too late!
