We've reopened analysis writing for the new metagame; if you're interested, check out the reservation index here.

Keep in mind that from here on out, sets are to be posted for the analysis you want to write before approval can be given. Happy writing!

We will be moving back to a 2 check system for full QC approval, this will only affect analyses that have either been currently reserved and have no thread posted, or are in WIP. If your analysis is currently in QC as of this announcement. it will still only need 1/1.

Welcome Oculars and Sami to trial QC!

Besides that though, we have an announcement to make about analyses that we forgot to make the other day (whoops). From now on, all analyses must be two short paragraphs, one talking about the Pokemon itself and the other talking about teammates and weaknesses of the Pokemon. We are switching to this to try and promote a more quality analysis production in the section and to be more informative than a regular mini analysis. The new format can be found in the reservation thread and below this post:

Paragraph 1
- the role that the Pokemon plays;
- coverage moves that affect its role, there's no need to explain simple STAB moves unless they're slashed;
- a description of the EV spread in one sentence or less; don't focus on "default" things like maximum Attack investment, do give reasoning behind the benchmarks chosen;
- an explanation of Tera types used and why they're beneficial.

Paragraph 2
- a brief example of teammates that benefit from the analysed Pokemon's presence;
- a brief example of foes that the analysed Pokemon is vulnerable to + teammates to help cover them.
