Thanks to its bulk, Primarina continuously checks threats such as Keldeo and Salamence by healing itself with Rest while taking advantage of its excellent STAB combination with Sleep Talk. Rest allows it to not be ruined by status such as Toxic from Aegislash and Buzzwole, Thunder Wave from Chansey, and Will-O-Wisp from Mew. Moonblast is great neutral coverage while also proving super effective damage on Kommo-o and Galarian Moltres. Scald allows Primarina to get a burn on switch-ins like Amoonguss, Celesteela, and Tentacruel, negating the recovery from Leftovers and Black Sludge. 124 Special Defense EVs and Leftovers allow Primarina avoid the 2HKO from Choice Specs Chandelure's Shadow Ball and 3HKO from Salamence's Hurricane from full HP without Stealth Rock, with the rest put into Defense to not be 3HKOed by Buzzwole's Close Combat, Dragon Dance Salamence, and Keldeo's Secret Sword, while also better checking mixed Kommo-o carrying Poison Jab. Leftovers is great, as it synergizes well with Rest + Sleep Talk, but Heavy-Duty Boots is an option to negate damage from entry hazards if the team has unreliable or no hazard removal.

RestTalk Primarina is mainly used on bulky teams that appreciate a status sponge and value the defensive qualities its typing provides. Mew is an excellent partner, as it can threaten Amoonguss and Tentacruel, that would otherwise counter Primarina. It can also provide Spikes support to help Primarina punish its switch-ins such as Nihilego. Zarude checks Rotom-W and Chansey while appreciating Primarina checking Keldeo and Kommo-o. Fire-types such as Rotom-H and Moltres can help check Grass-types such as Zarude and Assault Vest Tangrowth, and provide momentum with Volt Switch and U-turn. Chandelure is a powerful wallbreaker that can OHKO Assault Vest Tangrowth, but it has to be very careful of taking big damage from Knock Off and losing its Choice Specs or Heavy-Duty Boots. Hazard control is important for Primarina to not be chipped down easily and forced to use Rest if it is running Leftovers. Salamence removes entry hazards with Defog and checks Zarude well. Kommo-o, Rhyperior, and Assault Vest Tangrowth can all form solid defensive cores with Primarina, as they are able to check Pokemon such as Volcanion, Thundurus, and Rotom-W nicely, while Primarina checks Noivern, Keldeo and Moltres in return.

- Primarina uses Rest alongside Sleep Talk, to have recovery, while also taking advantage of its excellent STAB coverage. You should be stating what Rest helps it check more consistently
- Rest allows it to not be ruined by status such as Toxic from Aegislash, Thunder Wave from Chansey or Grimmsnarl, and Spore from Amoonguss, while fully restoring its HP.
- Calm Mind can be used over Scald to boost Primarina, but Scald can get an important burn on Amoonguss or Tentacruel. You shouldn't run Calm Mind on this set. Scald does too much for it when it comes to punishing foes like Scizor, Amoong, Cele, Tang etc. Giving this up makes it far too passive and easy to take advantage of
- Max HP and Max Defense EVs are used to soft check breakers such as Lycanroc-D. Lycanroc-D is not a great example when Stone Edge can still 2HKO, especially after rocks. I'd rather you mentioned how this prevents Primarina from being 2HKO'd by CB Buzzwole CC

Mention a SpD spread can be considered to take hits from Specs Aegislash and Chandelure, Moltres, and Salamence better, though note how it will be a worse check to CB Buzz as a result.

- Rest Talk Primarina is mainly used on bulky teams that would need to rely on a status sponge. and value the defensive qualities its typing provides
- Nasty Plot Mew Any Mew can do this apart from suicide lead, so I don't think you need to specify NP is an excellent partner, as it would threaten Amoonguss and Tentacruel, that would otherwise blank Primarina.
- Pivots such as ? allow Primarina to be brought in safely without having to be forced to Rest. Scizor can pivot into Sludge Bomb from Tentacruel, while Zarude can be a help deal with Rhyperior if Primarina does not carry Scald. Scizor is not a reliable pivot into Tentacruel, just reference how it can deal with Tang/Amoong. Prima pivots into Rhyp well enough + you don't drop Scald, so either change the reasoning for why Zarude helps Prima or change the example.
- Stealth Rock from Nidoqueen, Rhyperior, and Nihilego can provide extra chip to help Primarina make up for the lack of boosts with Calm Mind.

- Fire-types such as Rotom-H can counter Mamoswine, while also providing momentum with Volt Switch. Moltres can also provide momentum without being blocked by Ground-types with U-turn, as well as Defog. Moltres can potentially punish a U-turn attempt by burning them with Flame Body. This could be written better. I'd rather you focused on this being a point about hazard removers, which Prima greatly appreciates as hazards force it to use Rest more often. The whole stuff on Moltres not being blocked by Ground-types and Flame Body doesn't have much relevance to Prima so remove. Instead, talk about their ability to check the tier's Grass-types.

Mention some checks to Electric-types

Kommo-o is a great check to Amoong/Tang + deals with Volcanion. In return, Prima deals with Salamence/Noivern.

- The Special Defense is for taking hits from Keldeo and Salamence better, with the rest put into Defense.
252 SpA Choice Specs Chandelure Shadow Ball vs. 252 HP / 124+ SpD Primarina: 153-181 (42 - 49.7%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after Leftovers recovery
252 SpA Salamence Hurricane vs. 252 HP / 124+ SpD Primarina: 115-136 (31.5 - 37.3%) -- 0% chance to 3HKO after Leftovers recovery
(mention how the spread lets it avoid the 2HKO from specs chandelure shadow ball and 3HKO from Salamence's hurricane if no hazards are up. Also give some examples of physical attackers primarina handles with those EVs)

- if heavy duty boots are slashed mention pros and cons to running boots over leftovers (doesn't get worn down from Mew spikes and Stealth Rock but has to Rest a bit more due to lack of passive recovery)

- Heavy-Duty Boots is an option to negate damage from entry hazards, but this forces Primarina to use Rest more often, so Leftovers is preferred for the constant recovery. it doesn't really force it to rest more often at all, if anything it often rests less because keeping spikes off in this meta is super hard. i'd just mention that the passive recovery from leftovers makes it easier for primarina to wall stuff like keldeo when hazards are off

- RestTalk Primarina is mainly used on bulky teams that would need to rely on a status sponge and value the defensive qualities its typing provides.
- Mew is an excellent partner, as it would threaten Amoonguss and Tentacruel, that would otherwise blank Primarina. it also provides hazard support which is great bc rest talk prim forces a lot of switching
- Pivots allow Primarina to be brought in safely without having to be forced to Rest. Scizor can handle Amoonguss and Tangrowth, while Zarude can be a great check to Electric-types such as Raikou and Thundurus, and deal heavy damage to Tentacruel. this isn't really it, it's not the type of mon you want to bring in safely. you should mention mons like zarude that appreciates prim checking keldeo and kommo-o, rotom-h which appreciates prim [kinda] checking rhyp, krook which appreciates the mence check etc.
- Hazard control is important for Primarina to not be chipped down easily and forced to use Rest if it is running Leftovers. Fire-types such as Rotom-H and Moltres can help check Grass-types such as Zarude and Assault Vest Tangrowth, as well as providing momentum with Volt Switch and U-turn. are you mentioning these as defoggers or as fire-type partners? moltres doesn't run defog + uturn at the same time and rotom is a pretty bad defogger all things considered. if you wanna make the fire type point a separate one and include hazard removers like salamence here instead it'd be good
- Electric-types such as Raikou and Thundurus can check Tentacruel and Celesteela, as well as being offensive pivots. this isn't really a huge deal, they don't provide anything for prim bc it's not struggling with tenta or steela that much long term anyway
- Kommo-o, Rhyperior, and Assault Vest Tangrowth can all form solid defensive cores with Primarina, as they are able to check Pokemon such as Volcanion, Thundurus, and Rotom-W nicely, while Primarina checks Noivern, Keldeo and Moltres in return.

Primarina uses its bulk to continuously check threats such as Keldeo, Salamence, and Chandelure throughout the match by healing itself with Rest while taking advantage of its excellent STAB combination with Sleep Talk. Rest allows it to not be ruined by status such as Toxic from Aegislash and Buzzwole, Thunder Wave from Chansey, and Will-o-Wisp from Mew. You might want to be careful with how you word the Chandelure point, its a nice check since its not quite 2HKO'd by Specs Sball and takes very little from Fire STABs, but a Hex set can 2HKO you when you are asleep, and while asleep you become much less reliable at switching into Specs sets too, while you are also at risk of being 2HKO'd by specs sball with rocks up if you are lefties. Moonblast is great neutral coverage while also proving super effective damage on Kommo-o and Galarian Moltres. Scald allows Primarina to get a burn on switch-ins Amoonguss, Celesteela, and Tentacruel, neutralizing the recovery from Leftovers and Black Sludge. The Special Defense investment is to be able to avoid the 2HKO from Choice Specs Chandelure's Shadow Ball The prose here needs to be very clear about this - 252 SpA Choice Specs Chandelure Shadow Ball vs. 252 HP / 124+ SpD Primarina: 153-181 (42 - 49.7%) -- 28.9% chance to 2HKO after Stealth Rock and Leftovers recovery . This is only true WITHOUT ROCKS if you are leftovers. and 3HKO from Salamence's Hurricane, similarlly this isn't really true for Boots 252 SpA Salamence Hurricane vs. 252 HP / 124+ SpD Primarina: 115-136 (31.5 - 37.3%) -- 86.7% chance to 3HKO. with the rest put into Defense to better check Buzzwole and Dragon Dance Salamence, and taking Secret Sword from Keldeo. might want to speciffically state that you aren't 3hkoed by it here or something. Also might be worth mentioning that the defense is nice for mixed kommo-o too, so that you take less from Pjab. Heavy-Duty Boots is an option to negate damage from entry hazards, but this forces Primarina to use Rest more often, so Leftovers is preferred for the constant recovery and making it easier to wall Pokemon without entry hazards up. another thing is that leftovers synergise nicer with rest talk, since they are giving you an extra 1/8 health back over the two turns you are asleep, this ends up making some difference to some calcs that you saw eg. mence can 3HKO boots while asleep if it tries to go for it, but can't 3hko leftovers. (don't actually state all that stuff, just say it synergises better with rest + sleep talk, but that heavy-duty boots should be considered if your team has unreliable or no removal).

RestTalk Primarina is mainly used on bulky teams that would need to rely on a status sponge and value the defensive qualities its typing provides. Mew is an excellent partner, as it would threaten Amoonguss and Tentacruel, that would otherwise blank Primarina. It can also provide Spikes support due to Primarina forcing a lot of switch-ins. be careul of the wording here, its not due to primarina forcing a lot of switches but instead the spikes punishing those switches. Zarude appreciates Primarina checking Keldeo and Kommo-o, with Rotom-H appreciating Krookodile and Salamence being removed.er i dont think you implemented Lily's check properly here - She basically said that Rotom-H appreciates Prim checking Rhyperior, and Krookodile appreciates Prim checking Mence. Fire-types such as Rotom-H and Moltres can help check Grass-types such as Zarude and Assault Vest Tangrowth, as well as providing momentum with Volt Switch and U-turn. maybe mention a Tangrowth check that isn't OHKO'd by Knock Off somewhere in this. give a quick warning about being wary of knock off from it too. Hazard control is important for Primarina to not be chipped down easily and forced to use Rest if it is running Leftovers. Salamence is able to Defog easily and check Zarude well.

QC 3/3. The main thing here is just to be careful about explaining the EV spreads, as the calcs change depending on whether you are using leftovers or boots.

Thanks to its bulk, Primarina uses its bulk to continuously checks threats such as Keldeo and Salamence,(RC) throughout the match by healing itself with Rest while taking advantage of its excellent STAB combination with Sleep Talk. Rest allows it to not be ruined by status such as Toxic from Aegislash and Buzzwole, Thunder Wave from Chansey, and Will-O-Wisp from Mew. Chandelure is usually checked by Primarina nicely, but it is able to 2HKO Primarina with Hex when asleep. this looks very out of place? seems like it belongs on the teammates section Moonblast is great neutral coverage while also proving super effective damage on Kommo-o and Galarian Moltres. Scald allows Primarina to get a burn on switch-ins like Amoonguss, Celesteela, and Tentacruel, neutralizing "negating" here sounds better imo the recovery from Leftovers and Black Sludge. The Special Defense investment is to be able to 124 Special Defense EVs and Leftovers let Primarina avoid the 2HKO from Choice Specs Chandelure's Shadow Ball and the 3HKO from Salamence's Hurricane from full HP without entry hazards i think this only includes stealth rock, so i'd def mention it and Leftovers, with the rest put into Defense to not be 3HKOed by Buzzwole what move?, Dragon Dance Salamence, Secret Sword from Keldeo,(RC) and Keldeo's Secret Sword while also better checking mixed Kommo-o carrying Poison Jab. Leftovers is great,(AC) as it synergizes well with Rest + Sleep Talk, but Heavy-Duty Boots is an option to negate damage from entry hazards if the team has unreliable or no hazard removal.

RestTalk Primarina is mainly used on bulky teams that would need to rely on a status sponge and value the defensive qualities its typing provides. Mew is an excellent partner, as it would can threaten Amoonguss and Tentacruel, that would otherwise blank counter Primarina. It can also provide Spikes support to help Primarina punish its of switch-ins. which are? Zarude appreciates Primarina checking Keldeo and Kommo-o, with Rotom-H checking Rhyperior why is this relevant for zarude or prim? and Primarina checking Krookodile and Salamence this is relevant because??. this sentence here is super confusing. you start talking abt zarude but then suddenly mention rotom-h checking rhyp and prim checking krook and mence. they have no correlation to each other, so split this up into their own sentences or just remove this Fire-types such as Rotom-H and Moltres can help check Grass-types such as Zarude and Assault Vest Tangrowth, as well as providing and provide momentum with Volt Switch and U-turn. Chandelure is a powerful wallbreaker that can muscle through pretty sure you can just say ohko here, or then mention its assault vest Tangrowth, but it has to be very careful of taking big damage from Knock Off and losing its Choice Specs or Heavy-Duty Boots.(AP) and taking big damage from Knock Off moved it around since you take damage first, then lose the item Hazard control is important for Primarina to not be chipped down easily and forced to use Rest if it is running Leftovers. Salamence is able to Defog easily removes entry hazards with Defog and checks Zarude well.
