I've just recently joined. I purchased Pokemon Platinum a couple of weeks ago. I've decided to start getting into the breeding scene, and have put a great deal of research in on IVs and so on, in order to understand the system.
My question, then, is a simple one. What would be a nice Pokemon to start working on? I've been cranking out Eevees since I got started, but the first five trials haven't resulted in too much success. Are there any Pokemon which might be easier to work with, for my first attempt at 3+ 31 IVs? Possibly one which hatches more quickly than Eevee, or has better gender balance.
