WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Hello my fellow Smogonites! This is your friend, Latchet. I have been posting here a while now (not enough, but oh well) and I've finally have discovered my most successful team so far. I will say this team has its flaws and isn't perfect, but dang have I been doing well with it. I've had help on this team in the past, the old one being see-able in my former posts, and I retired it not long ago. Well, I brought it out of said retirement, and it's better than ever. I changed up quite a few things from the last team and I'm ready to see what my fellow users think of it. By the way, the team is named after the anime Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni.
Building process? I think so...
So, the team was now complete, and all I needed to do was put the right movesets in to fit the right purpose. Here is the result of the process:
(Couldn't find a good shiny one anywhere)
Lil Blue (Mew) @ Leftovers
Ability: Synchronize
EVs: 252 HP / 200 Def / 56 Spd
Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Psychic
- Taunt
- Softboiled
- Will-O-Wisp
Description:
Oh, good ole Stallbreaker Mew, how I love you. This guy is so bulky and annoying and awesome and destructive and cute. The EVs give him great bulk with enough speed to outspeed about any wall out there. That gives him the chance to Taunt them and prevent them from giving a status or doing anything really. With that in mind, Mew can stall them out with Will-O-Wisp and boom, stall poke down. Another thing it can do is Taunt a nonscalding stall poke so another one of my pokes can come in and set up on it. Softboiled is better than Roost to me because, well, argh. I just like it better. Finally Psychic is there to give my team a Psychic move and to give Mew STAB.
Mew works on this team because he has great type coverage with Conk and Heatran. The ONLY thing, in my opinion, that would work well in his place is Celebi. This is because he would add T-Wave support and is still bulky. The only thing against him is that Mew beats stall teams better. Also, Mew is my favorite poke, so it would be hard to argue against him :P. Mew functions as the physical wall of my team, since I never actually mentioned that.
Jumbo (Conkeldurr) (M) @ Flame Orb
Ability: Guts
EVs: 224 HP / 252 Atk / 32 SDef
Brave Nature (+Atk, -Spd)
- Drain Punch
- Facade
- Mach Punch
- Payback
Description:
This is a very underused and underestimated set. A first started using flame orb awhile back, then changed a few things once I saw how powerful Facade is from the calcs featured in this set's description here at Smogon. This set is for mid-game hole-punching. Drain Punch is Conk's main STAB and is used for gaining back HP lost from Flame Orb. Mach Punch is another much needed move for this set to work. Though Conkeldurr has low speed, Mach Punch gives him the ability to hit fast pokes HARD with priority. Payback is to give almost perfect coverage with the ability to hit ghosts and psychics. The set has been tweaked a little to give Conk definite bonuses to Payback by lowering his Speed IVs and giving him a Brave nature. That's the only real change to the Smogon set here. Finally, Facade gives major power to Conk; if you don't believe me, look at this set on Smogon's set list for Conk at look at the calcs. It's pretty insane.
Conk works well with this team by giving great synergy to Mew and Gyarados as well as giving the team priority with Mach Punch, which can often mean the difference between a defeat or a loss. Yea, he really weakens teams and cleans up pokes well.

Peeta (Heatran) (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 252 HP / 84 SAtk / 172 SDef
Calm Nature (+SDef, -Atk)
- Lava Plume
- Protect
- Stealth Rock
- Hidden Power [Ice]
Description:
This is my favorite set I've devised so far. I personally don't believe speed EVs are necessary for this set, as it doesn't pack EP for killing other Heatrans and can outspeed most Scizors, not all, but most. Lava Plume is good STAB and can potentially burn pokes for Tran to stall out. Stealth Rock is a must for practically any team. Protect is great for Tran to me, for I let him lead against Landorus, Protect, see the U-turn, then switch to Gyara to take the Expert belted Earthquake. I say this becuse almost every Landorus I've seen for a long time has been Expert belted, and if he's not, Gyara won't really be hurt by a U-turn. HP [ice] is to hit Dragons such as D-Nite and others. The EVs give great special bulk with enough power hurt opposing pokes. I'll definitely stop being lazy and run some calcs some time to tweak the set, but I don't want to do it right now.
Heatran works to give this team rocks and a good special wall and a steel poke. That's really his main role, and he has good typing to work with this team.

Akasaka (Terrakion) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Justified
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Close Combat
- Earthquake
- X-Scissor
- Stone Edge
Description:
This set is pretty basic. This provides a good Scarfer to the team with good power. CC and Stone Edge are great STAB and are just a great offensive typing combo. X-Scissor and EQ give Terrakion even better coverage when hitting pokes eliminating those big threats. I hate that this description is going to be so short, but I seriously don't know what else to say. I guess I could talk about the name a bit lol. The name comes from the anime show this team's name comes from. The character is Akasaka and is a complete badass. Well, that's all I have to say.

Gyarados (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 56 HP / 248 Atk / 204 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Dragon Dance
- Waterfall
- Substitute
- Bounce
Description:
I don't even have a nickname for this guy yet, but he's so good. This is one of my favorite sets, along with Scarf Moxie Gyarados which is similair to the Scarf Mox-Mence set. This set is ment for coming in on physical attackers that aren't super powerful like Weavile, Ferrothorn, Scizor, Scrafty, Toxicroak, or Gliscor. Intimidate weakens attacks from the ability to break a Sub, leading to a switch and a free DD or two. This set comes from the Smogon analysis and is very good. Waterfall and Bounce are STAB and provide decent enough coverage for a good sweep. Leftovers is for living plenty of SR switch ins and working with Subs.
Gyarados provides a physical sweeper to the team and has great synergy with Conkeldurr. That is why he's on this team, and he works well.
this is from pokecommunity.
Keiichi (Latios) (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Calm Mind
- Dragon Pulse
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Surf
Description
Dear God in Heaven this set destroys teams unprepared. If the team doesn't have a scarfer, then this poke is so hard to stop with this set. Most people will be like "Oh, Latios, better switch in a steel poke since he's probably specs or scarf." That's perfect for me. I send in Latios, threaten a Draco, then the person switches their steel into my Calm Mind. After that, most pokes are OHKO'd or close to so by the moves on this set. D-Pulse is reliable STAB, HP [fire] deals with steels, and Surf hits Heatran. Timid Nature gives the ability to outspeed most other pokes, and Life Orb hides my item until I get a powerful hit off.
Latios functions as my special sweeper. He has good synergy with my pokes like Conkeldurr and Heatran. He is one of my favorite sweepers this gen.

So that's my team. I hope you like it. I know it's somewhat similair to an old team of mine; I've already pointed that out. A couple pokes were replaced and almost all of the sets have changed. Tell me what you think, and know that any criticism is appreciated. :)

Forgive me, but this team was made a good while ago and has had quite a few changes, most of which I don't even remember; therefore, I'll be leaving most of them out and just tell most of my ideas when putting these pokes together.
Mew and Conkeldurr together is one of my favorite combos and said combo has been seen in many of my past teams. Gosh, Mew's bulk and Conk's power just lead to mayhem, so it was an obvious choice to me that using them would be a good idea.
I needed a steel pokemon to deal with dragon absorbing and another wall, along with a stealth rocker, so who better than Heatran, really? He's a good poke featured in many of my teams.
Next, I needed a scarfer with good speed, but good power. Terrakion is a "BIG ASS THREAT" as Shofu would say, and I thought he deserved a chance at the team.
Finally, I needed a sweeper or two, so I chose two of my favorite pokes for setting up, Latios and Gyarados. Also, Gyarados has very good synergy with Conkeldurr.
