Revolution Deathsquad

I have been using this team on Shoddy for a while, and I really think it is a great team. My record is 6-1, (the only reason I lost was because of hax -_-) and I am hoping to improve this team to its full extent. So without further ado...

Ambipom @ Focus Sash **Stoopid Monkee
Nature: Jolly
Ability: Technician
EV Spread: 252 Attack/252 Speed/6 HP
~Fake Out
~Counter
~U-Turn
~Payback

This Ambipom is very annoying for the other team. Fake Out breaks the Focus Sash, Payback hits Gengars and other Ghosts, Counter is for hard-hitting physical attackers, and U-Turn is when I need to GTFO. Technician helps boost U-Turn, Payback, and Fake Out. :D

Suicune @ Leftovers **Fear Me
Nature: Bold
Ability: Pressure
EV Spread: 252 HP/252 Defense/6 Special Defense
~Calm Mind
~Surf
~Ice Beam
~Roar

This Suicune is the one part of the team that I'm having trouble with. I'm not sure what set to run! This set does get walled by Vaporeon, but if I add Hidden Power Electric, then I can't Roar things away. If I run the RestTalking set, then I'll only have Surf, and that STILL gets walled by Vaporeon. This does make for a very good tank, and I can definitely stall people out with it.

Blissey @ Leftovers **Transvestite
Nature: Calm
Ability: Natural Cure
EV Spread: 252 Defense/80 HP/176 Special Defense
~Wish
~Protect
~Ice Beam
~Toxic

Wish Bliss has helped me out so many times. Toxic helps wear down my opponents so my team can sweep, and it also gives my team Wish support! Protect is to scout for Choice users, and to avoid damage. Ice Beam isn't walled by anything (as far as I can see), so I chose that above Flamethrower (walled by Heatran).

Infernape @ Expert Belt **Joch
Nature: Naive
Ability: Blaze
EV Spread: 252 Special Attack/232 Speed/24 Attack
~Flamethrower
~Hidden Power [Ice]
~Grass Knot
~Close Combat

MixApe has always been a staple on my team. With its high Speed, it can outspeed most dangerous threats to it. It's high Special Attack can benefit it with its 3 Special moves. I chose Grass Knot over ThunderPunch to cover the ever-increasingly popular Swampert.

Salamence @ Choice Specs **RAWR
Nature: Timid
Ability: Intimidate
EV Spread: 252 Special Attack/252 Speed/6 HP
~Draco Meteor
~Hydro Pump
~Flamethrower
~Hidden Power [Rock]

Hidden Power Rock may seem like a weird idea at first on SpecsMence, but due to the high popularity of things like Yanmega and Gyarados, this can actually hit them extremely hard. Draco Meteor is obviously for STAB, Hydro Pump can hit Tyranitar and Heatran hard, and Flamethrower hits Forretress and Skarmory.

Scizor @ Life Orb **OHAI THAR
Nature: Adamant
Ability: Technician
EV Spread: 252 Attack/252 HP/6 Speed
~Substitute
~Swords Dance
~Bullet Punch
~X-Scissor

o_o I can't believe how many times this guy has swept. Even with only 2 moves, it covers so many things so well, it's unbelievable. With a Substitute up, it's obviously protected from at least one attack, which guarantees it a Swords Dance. After that, this is just deadly. Bullet Punch + STAB + Technican = Win. X-Scissor covers things like Celebi, Vaporeon, and Jolteon, who would normally wall Bullet Punch.

So there you have it, it's my team. Please try to help improve it. Thanks! :D

I like Scizor. Put Roost over which ever of the 3 attacks you don't sweep with, that way you can recover from Life Orb and Sub.

I think HP Electric would go better than roar on Suicune, otherwise you get walled by water types.

And U-turn doesn't get Technichian boost.

Substitute doesn't work well on Scizor. If you are that concerned with blocking status, then you might as well use Lum Berry...And, again, sub + LO is not that effective. Either Roost or Quick Attack over substitute. And with 252 HP EV's, you are already fairly bulky and can survive a few attacks.

I would also really consider Dragon Pulse or Hidden Power [Ground] over HP Rock. Dragon Pulse is weaker than Draco Meteor, but it has more PP and is more reliable late game while still doing tons of damage. HP Ground covers Heatran and Magnezone while still giving you more type coverage. You could also put in EQ, as Salamence has a great attack stat and a Mixed move wouldn't hurt, right? Other than that, a great team and I look forward to seeing it in the future!

@ CraftySouthPaw - Thanks a ton! You really helped me out with Salamence and Scizor. I'm glad you like the team. ^_^

@ MetaNite - Thanks a bunch for the Suicune help. I'll be sure to replace Roar with Hidden Power Electric.

On suicune, how often do you use Roar? Also, why have Roar without any rocks? I'd suggest HP Electric over Roar, and if you decide to do that, I'd go for an all out offensive set.

Suicune@Life orb/lefties
Timid
252 SpA/252 Spe / 4 HP

Surf
HP [Electric]
Ice Beam
Calm Mind

It'll be able to calm mind once or twice, then hit extremely hard. Even without any Calm Minds, it has the ability to KO one or two pokemon before going down.

Hidden Power Rock, if it hits for x2 Damage, is still underpowered when compared to a neutral STAB Dragon Pulse.

If your gonna use a hidden power, at least use Ground to hit Heatran and Empoleon.

You should get rid of substitute on Scizor, and add Roost, Superpower, or Pursuit. Roost is good for recovering, Superpower kills Heatrans, and Pursuit traps Gengars. :p

Things like Bulkydos can be very dangerous. After a single DD, it outspeeds pretty much anything on your team. You also won't be roaring it since most of them carry taunt. With that said, go with HP electric on suicune. Keep roar, it can always be useful, even without rocks. go with surf and HP electric. Since you have Ice beam/HP ice on two of your pokemon, why have it again? This promotes type coverage.
Also, as said above, use roost and perhaps superpower on scizor. You can use Dragon Pulse/Hp ground on salamence over HP rock.

And by the way, ambipom doesn't really support your team much. You can switch it with bronzong. You get rocks for suicune to shuffle with.

Thanks for your time, hope this helped.
