Banner soon I promise
Hello people of Smeargle's Studio! I'm Rex, a guy who likes turtwig, drawing, and competitive pokémon. I'll share stuff from workshop requests, regular requests, commissions (in the future), and stuff that I made for the fun of it. Expect stuff from different mediums, such as digital (yes), traditional (probably), and other mediums (probably not, but still possible). Of course, any criticisms of pieces posted here are very much appreciated, just remember to be constructive about it.Rex here, I wanted to give some minor context to what SU is. SU is an unofficial tier below ZU, with mons based on ZU's usage.
Context Rex here again, MLTLT was a ladder tournament where you could only use teams of "bad" types. The list you could use is Bug, Electric, Ice, Poison, Psychic, and Rock. In here are some of the best mons of each type as representatives.
Fun fact, all genesect forms are represented in this piece. Genesect represents base form Genesect (duh), Qwilfish represents Water form, Monferno represents Fire form, and text colors represent Electirc and Ice forms.
Decent art? Let's fucking goooo! Unfortunately my PC's screen majorly messes with the colors, but if you have a good enough screen it should look fine.
Tried a new thing with the shading, kinda liked it. I was also inspired for this piece by little kid's karate tournaments, where the kids don't really know what's going on and are not taking it serioously because of that. There's also an alternate tranparent version.
Heya, context Rex here. Full Potential is an OM where instead of using attack and special attack to calculate damage, the game uses the pokemon's highest stat to calculate damage. Normally, Talonflame's attack stat would be used to calculate the damage Talonflame deals, but in Full Potential, Talonflame deals damage with its speed stat instead. This also goes for Flutter Mane (assault vest attacker) and jirachi (iron defense setup sweeper).
Context Rex back again! Wildcard is a monotype OM where you get 1 mon that doesn't have to share a type with the rest of the team. Examples pictured are an Archaludon flying team and an Okidogi ghost team. The Okidogi team was made by TheWyvernKing.
(Official art was used for the Brambleghast and Zapdos cards)
Made this walking (or I guess landsliding) OSHA violation for OM'S CCAT, when I first decided that I should implement something as important as lineart into my art! What a monumental discovery

This time, I got Wooloo as my pokemon and green, orange, and yellow as my colors (oh, and they allow you to use grayscale colors as well)

Context Rex here, following the Lugia hands incident in smearglecord, I had to
(blame the cool people above here for this abomination's existance, not me)
