Pros:
Ribombee is by far the best Sticky Web setter thanks to its high Speed letting it outspeed many already fast threats such as Meowscarada, Greninja, non-booster Speed Iron Valiant, and Cinderace. Shield Dust + Focus Sash allows it to nearly guarantee the Sticky Web being set up. Its natural typing allows it to wall Great Tusk, which is the main form of hazard removal for most teams. It's able to cripple other hazard removers like Cinderace and Corviknight.
Cons:
Ribombee has no way of damaging Steel-types, meaning that Pokemon such as Gholdengo can very easily take advantage of it.
- If webs aren't on the field, you are often playing 5v6
Terastalization Potential:

The only real terastalization you can really do. It blocks Rapid Spin, but Ribombee doesn’t need to waste its Tera for its team.
Sample set:
Ribombee @ Focus Sash

Tera Type: Ghost

Timid Nature
- Sticky Web
- Moonblast
- Stun Spore / U-turn
- Skill Swap / U-turn
Sticky Web enables threats like Iron Moth and Manaphy to more easily break through teams thanks to not being as easily revenge killed. STAB Moonblast allows it to OHKO Great Tusk and Samurott. Stun Spore can paralyze threats that ignore the Speed drop from Sticky Webs such as Cinderace. Skill Swap can be used to get rid of Hatterene's Magic Bounce and Gholdengo's Good as Gold to set up webs freely and paralyze the latter. U-turn can be used over either of the last two moves to safely bring in a threat after Sticky Web is set up.

After many months of suffering, Sticky Webs teams can finally have a further niche to take advantage of many teams that rely on Booster Energy Iron Valiant as speed control, enabling powerful threats such as Manaphy and Gholdengo. Though they have high upside, most teams naturally many Heavy-Duty Boots users to counteract the Speed drop, and is thus very high risk, high reward. Ribombee will just stay around the C ranks for the rest of the gen and will fall to around NU/PU.
