RM "Gyara and Friends" Team

It seems to become popular using Gyarados+a Pursuiter, which slot is normally taken by Heracross. But I wanted another one :p
Ok here it goes:

Overview:

Gengar (M) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 4 Def/252 Spd/252 SAtk
Timid nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Hypnosis
- Focus Blast
- Shadow Ball
- Thunderbolt

My starter, but I am not happy with it anymore. It usually gets eaten by a Pursuiter after my first kill, so maybe I could change the Set to a non Choice Item. There is no need for a Scarfer as far as I can judge it, because Celebi already covers Gyarados, and Metagross stops EndReversaler and stuff with Bullet Punch. I wouldnt like a Life-Orb on it though, maybe Expert Belt? Or should I use another Pokemon. I have 2 other great starters with Celebi and Metagross, which one should i choose in the case of a replacement or a non-scarfset?

Gyarados (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 84 HP/216 Atk/36 Def/172 Spd
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Dragon Dance
- Waterfall
- Stone Edge
- Taunt

The star of the Team. He sweeps once their Counter is on low health thanks to Pursuit. Best Set and Split, so nothing to improve^^

Celebi @ Leftovers
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 240 HP/176 Def/36 Spd/56 SAtk
Bold nature (+Def, -Atk)
- U-turn
- Recover
- Grass Knot
- Stealth Rock

My new favorite defensive Pokemon^^ Its just so great, too bad i have to waste a slot for Stealth Rock...I would change its speed to 270 and use Psychic instead of Rocks If i had it on another Pokemon already, so Heracross gets raped. Deals with gengar, Toxicroak and Machamp aswell, and has a slightly higher power against Chomp plus the chance on a SDef drop? Does anyone know the percentage? I thought it would be 10%

Metagross @ Choice Band
Ability: Clear Body
EVs: 248 HP/252 Atk/8 Spd
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Earthquake
- Meteor Mash
- Pursuit
- Bullet Punch

This thing just rapes. Starmie, Gengar, Deoxys, Blissey and sometimes even Slowbro or Celebi run in fear and lose a great chunk of health to pursuit. I would have already swept teams with Gengar this way if not these fucking TTars pursuit me to death when I am locked into TB or SB

Vaporeon (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Water Absorb
EVs: 60 HP/252 Def/56 SAtk/140 SDef
Bold nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Wish
- Surf
- Ice Beam
- Protect

Wish support, and my answer to several threats like Infernape, Garchomp or Salamence. I dont need HP [Electric] as Celebi owns Gyarados 95% of the time already and the rest does Metagross.

Magnezone @ Leftovers
Ability: Magnet Pull
EVs: 156 HP/204 Spd/148 SAtk
Modest nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Thunderbolt
- Substitute
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Magnet Rise

This thing already trapped dozens of Bronzongs, Metagross, Skarmorys, Forretress and Jirachis without U-Turn. Its quite funny to see how they switch in Dugtrio or Garchomp while i set up a Sub, only to quake my Sub while i use Magnet Rise and get another free turn^^ Offensively a great combo with Metagross, as the only Pokemon stopping both Magnezone and Metagross gets eaten alive by Gyara and Celebi.

Edit: The team had success till yet, it brought my main account 150 points up although I played already a lot of matches with it

I prefer Reflect over u-turn on Celebi, since it does the same thing you intended u-turn for (halve Pursuit's power) and it gives your team more support.

Like you said, Tyranitar could give your team trouble.

I like u-turn too much to replace it xD I dont need rocks that badly though, as i want to replace Gengar anyway. So Reflect>stealth rock?

@Raikoulover: Yeah this is the first time I use Magnezone, do you have a good Spread?

@Animenagai: Did I fought you? cant remember xD

Suicune is pretty much the fastest pokemon you should try to outrun with Magnezone so 204 speed EV's should work.

Reflect would help your Vaporeon switch into Tyranitar more often since he's the only one that can safely switch in repeatedly. Nice work though.

I'm not sure off the top of my head about a Magnezone spread. I remember that stats though. Mine had 320 HP / 207 Speed / 366 Special Attack with a modest nature. Outspeeding Suicune helps you take it out easier, but is also a selling point in that you utterly wall Cresselia, throwing a sub up before it can do anything. I never liked Maggy til I tried him out, and he's definately a top tier pokemon, with a ton of resists that can set up his sub quickly.

Thanks the spread looks better xD. He is definitely a top pokemon as he usually kills one pokemon every time he gets a sub up. unless my opponent has Blissey/Snorlax of course.
I am still not happy with:
-Gengars set. I want a fucking SRer on his place, but I dont know which one.
-The team is a little bit too blue xD
-I could switch vaporeons EVs more towards SDef, so it becomes some sort of special wall
-Gyarados attack are great, but I often find myself missing either EQ or Ice fang. Its just Taunt helps me against a lot of Pokemon I couldnt get past else, while without Stone Edge I get walled by other Gyarados and Zapdos, who gives my team some problemes anyway with TW.

Thanks for the feedback so far xd
