Technically, this is my second choice team... but nonetheless, it is still an honour! its a little more complex than my first team, and nowhere near as defensive as my first team, but you can draw a range of comparisons from both teams, still, i dont rely on my first team, i more or less give both teams equal battle time, this way i can learn to adapt to the varied styles both teams require.

Now For Some Colour

images

SWELLOW!
Role: Guts Scout
Nature: Jolly
Ability: Guts
Item: Flame Orb
EV's: 252 Attack, 252 Speed, 4 HP
Move 1: Protect
Move 2: Brave Bird
Move 3: Façade (Facade to you and me)
Move 4: U-Turn

I really like this, when guts in activated, nothing is safe from this demonic, suicidal bird. i chose the burn orb over the toxic orb for one very very simple reason... fixed damage. it is beyond me why some people give gutters a progressive damage status... what happens when it you and gutter alone to fend off multiple enemies, chances are one of the survivors is that pesky staller you couldn't finish off... honestly... anyway, Swellows move set covers a lot, brave bird is devastating to neutral opposition, Facade gains a massive 140, unboosted, couple that with STAB and the attack up from guts, Oh My! and U-turn just to flee while dealing damage!

ALAKAZAM!
Role: Specs Sweeper
Nature: Modest
Ability: Synchronize
Item: Choice specs
Move 1: Psychic
Move 2: Shadow Ball
Move 3: Energy Ball
Move 4: Focus Blast
EV's: 252 Special Attack, 252 Speed, 4 Defence

This is a monster, Pain in the ass to all non-spongy pokemon! Alakazam was once a member of my first team, but with a dip in form and after getting my ass handed to me because of it, i decided to drop it, but felt that it was too strong to leave out of any team, so it earned a spot in my second team, being the successor to Exeggutor! so far, its had some success, but also some failures... oh well, cant win them all!

MUK!
Role: Sludge Sponge/ Cursed
Nature: Sassy
Ability: Sticky Hold
Item: Black Sludge
EV's: 252 HP, 252 Attack, 4 Special Defence
Move 1: Curse
Move 2: Fire Blast
Move 3: Gunk Shot
Move 4: Shadow Sneak

Hmm... this is an odd ball, to say the least... Curse sets up Muk rather nicely, its super powered Special Defence can handle most Special Attacks and the increased defences are a welcome addition to an other dismal defence stat... Gunk Shot and Shadow sneak are also very happy to receive an attack boost, Sneak can earn a quick kill, while gunk shot uses its 30% poison chance to top use and can even kill! MUK was straight in to my second team, therefore no predecessors!

ROTOM!
Role: Dual Status
Nature: Modest
Ability: Levitate
Item: Focus Sash
EV's: 252 Special Attack, 252 speed, 2 HP
Move 1: Thunder Wave
Move 2: Thunderbolt
Move 3: Shadow Ball
Move 4: Will-o-Wisp

This little TV virus was the 1st UU/NU pokemon that i even raised! I glad i chose this over the various other UU/NU ghost available, but i liked the typing! I was confident that Rotom could preform and it did, thunder wave and Will-O-Wisp were just a pain in the ass of my enemy, and the focus sash just made it worse... Thunderbolt is a great move to have on Rotom, especially with the measly Special attack stat... Rotom is a successor of Spiritomb.

REGISTEEL!
Role: Mixed Defences
Nature: Careful
Ability: Clear Body
Item: Chesto Berry
EV's: 252 HP, 176 Special Defence, 80 Defence
Move 1: Rest
Move 2: Iron Head
Move 3: Earthquake
Move 4: Curse

What a Monster! Now i realize this is my second Curser, but they are for entirely different purposes. Muk is for offence, Registeel for defence. Registeel is more of a demotion if anything... replaced by Steelix but Registeel fits rather snuggly in the second team. after several curses, Registeel has lost a fair amount of health, resting with instant wake works brilliance, as it allows for slow sweeping or just stalling the hell out of them!

TAUROS!
Role: Choice Sweeper
Nature: Jolly
Ability: Intimidate
Item: Choice Band
Ev's: 252 Attack, 252 Speed, 4 HP
Move 1: Return
Move 2: Earthquake
Move 3: Stone Edge
Move 4: Pursuit

As you can see, my team lacked speed, before Tauros came in, i had to put up with being the slower, and it cost me... Also, as you can see, its a move set designed for a life orb, but the jolly nature hinders its attack, and i need the extra attack! return makes for a very powerful STAB move, earthquake and stone edge covers so much that would normally counter Tauros and pursuit for a lucky prediction switch! Tauros is the result of consistent battle testing, succeeding, Rhyperior, Relicanth, Rampardos, Ursaring, Marowak and Pinser!

Soo thats my Team, Please Rate and be honest! i need expert advise!

Thanks to Dragon fly cave for the sprites, and Google Images for the Images

All the best!

Focus sash is wasted on Rotom due to the prevalence of SR/SS teams. Use Leftovers instead. A Timid nature should also be used on Rotom to outspeed all base 90s.
Muk isn't really doing much for your team as Registeel pretty much does the same thing. I suggest using a bulky water such as Slowbro or Milotic. This also patches your Arcanine weaknesss (none of your current members can safely switch in).
Slowbro @ Leftovers
Bold
252 HP/ 252 Def/ 4 Sp. Def
Slack Off
Psychic
Surf
Toxic
You could use a calm mind set as well if you want it to set up like Muk.
I also suggest using SR on Registeel, instead of a curser.
Registeel @ Leftovers
Careful
252 HP/ 252 Sp. Def/ 4 Def
Stealth Rock
Seismic Toss
Thunder Wave
Shadow Claw

Mixed Blaziken can also be used in place of Tauros to take out walls which will hinder Swellow/Blaziken, but Tauros can work fine with good prediction.

i have all you've suggested, just (other than Milotic) they've all cost me wins, or not lived up to its true potential.

I see your point with rotom, but the Dual Status set ive given it has worked to perfection, and theres the suprise factor aswell, no one expects a utility Rotom...

I also see your point with Muk, however My Milotic has a strong placement in my 1st team, but i do have certain other things that could take its place, Venasaur, Sceptile, Hypno.. what do you think?

I'm not an expert by any means, but just a few things I've noticed about your team:

SR and spikes is going to rip your team apart very quickly. one layer of spikes and SR is going to cost everyone but registeel at least 24% health on each switch, and with 2 choiced items, you'll be doing a lot of switching. For this reason I would recommend that you replace muk with either claydol or donphan to give rapid spin support to your team. I am personally very fond of claydol due to it's ability to score OHKO on missy/rotom and the fact that it resists the 3 most common physical attackign types: ground, rock, fighting.

Your team seems like it would struggle with a strong physical attacker so I'd probably recommend you use a physically defensive claydol, although you can use a semi-bulky version with a decent spA investment to score the 3HKO (potential 2HKO) on spiritomb after SR damage.

If you're going to be adding rapid spin support to the team then I would also recommend you replace rotom with spiritomb for WoW support since it can act as a pursuiter for opposing ghosts to remove their spin blocker, and the lack of a weakness means it will be much easier to switch in multiple times. You also lack any priority other than muck's shadow sneak, and muk's horrible defense means that it basically only has one chance to try and kill with shadowsneak before it gets rolled.

DDFeraligatr really has a field day with your team depending on the moves it chooses to run, however it will have multiple opportunities to set up, and you have no water resists which means you can't safely switch in anything. After one DD it can outspeed and either OHKO or 2HKO every member of your team bar swellow, who can't switch in more than twice due to SR and flame orb.

I would recommend a water resist, either a bulky water of your own (milotic works great) or using sceptile (if you want to keep the more aggressive nature of the team). Sceptile can run a mixed set very well, or you can go full bore on special and run a specs set in place of zam, which makes your team a bit less weak to pursuit, gives a much needed water resist, and can threaten to outspeed and OHKO many bulky waters which would otherwise give you trouble.
