Okay, well in the advent of BL and UU merging, I decided to make a UU team. At first, it was extremely difficult, because I didn't know where to even start, with 206 UUs AND NFEs. So I just decided to revamp my old UU team, and add in my favorite BL, Feraligatr. The Platinum updates also improved this team quite a bit, allowing Nidoking to break apart even more teams.
There is no "central" strategy to this team, to be honest. The goal is to push for a sweep for Hitmontop, Nidoking, Feraligatr, or Altaria. These offensive pokemon work very well together. For example, Hitmontop is walled by Claydol, but Nidoking and Feraligatr can break Claydol, especially since it doesn't have reliable recovery. Another example is Altaria, who is walled by Steelix, but then Nidoking, Feraligatr, or Hitmontop can 1-2HKO him. I still need some advice however, as no team is perfect, but you can always stride for the idea of it :)
*The title is because I use two DDers, Feraligatr and Altaria, stupid, I know.
The Team:

Credit for large sprites go to arkeis.com
The Lead:
Hitmontop @ Life Orb
Ability: Technician
Nature: Adamant (+Atk, -SpA)
EV: 240 HP / 252 Atk / 16 Spe
-Fake Out
-Mach Punch
-Close Combat
-Bullet Punch
Technitop is a great lead, 2HKOing the majority of UU leads with a combination of Fake Out + Mach/Bullet Punch. Late game Top can sweep with his priority moves and his invaluable STAB Close Combat has saved me from Cradily, Chansey, and the Regis.
The Defense:
Grumpig @ Leftovers
Ability: Thick Fat
Nature: Calm (+SpD, -Atk)
EV: 252 HP / 160 Def / 96 SpD
-Psychic
-Signal Beam
-Rest
-Sleep Talk
Grumpig is one of my two defensive tanks, being the specially oriented of the two. Grumpig handles fire types, with the exception of Houndoom, and walls other psychics nicely. Signal Beam so I can nail darks and psychics, mainly Cacturne and Hypno, who are very annoying.
Steelix @ Leftovers
Ability: Sturdy
Nature: Relaxed (+Def, -Spe)
EV: 252 HP / 120 Atk / 136 SpD
-Stealth Rock
-Earthquake
-Roar
-Gyro Ball
Steelix is my physical tank, and performs the role very well. He sets up Stealth Rock after switching into Swellow/Staraptor's STAB moves, then attacks accordingly or switches. Roar is especially useful for racking up residual damage, and is particularly useful for Raikou, which this counters pretty nicely. Gyro Ball is there for faster threats, and works nicely in a metagame full of Rock Polishers.
The Wall-Breaker:
Nidoking @ Life Orb
Ability: Poison Point
Nature: Rash (+SpA, -SpD)
EV: 200 Atk / 252 SpA / 56 Spe
-Earth Power
-Superpower
-Ice Beam
-Megahorn
Nidoking is great for breaking apart stall teams with his good type coverage. Earth Power allows him to OHKO Steelix, and on average I find it doing more damage since things like Omastar and Poliwrath are physically defensive. It doesn't do as much to Lanturn, but it still 2HKOs. Ice Beam and Megahorn provide coverage against all of the grass and psychic types, atleast 2HKOing every one of them, including Claydol. Superpower is for Clefable but it also severely hurts Regice.
The Sweepers:
Feraligatr @ Life Orb
Ability: Torrent
Nature: Jolly (+Spe, -SpA)
EV: 64 HP / 252 Atk / 192 Spe
-Dragon Dance
-Waterfall
-Ice Punch
-Earthquake
Feraligatr is my first sweeper, and is nice because of its ability, Torrent, which can be gamebreaking. The EVs allow me to outrun base 130s after a DD, which is crucial because things like Crobat could ruin my day with Hypnosis. Life Orb > Leftovers as I want to activate Torrent. Feraligatr is crucial in breaking apart Claydol, opening an Altaria or Hitmontop sweep.
Altaria @ Life Orb
Ability: Natural Cure
Nature: Adamant (+Atk, -SpA)
EV: 72 HP / 252 Atk / 184 Spe
-Dragon Dance
-Outrage
-Earthquake
-Roost
Altaria is my final pokemon, and probably the most impressive after testing. After a DD, not much outspeeds it, and not much can OHKO it either. I can typically alternate Roost / DD until I have sufficient attack to OHKO anything. Outrage is extremely powerful, even from his below average attack score. The thing that sets Altaria apart from other sweepers is Natural Cure, meaning burn or paralysis will rarely ruin my sweep.
