XY UU RMT: God, Bae and Friends

Hello everyone. Dik in box here with my first RMT. I wanted to do a RMT for this squad because it's one of the only teams I made pretty much by myself that has had success. Right now I'm at an ELO of 1415 on the UU ladder, which for me is good haha. Anyway lets get into it.

Heracross @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Moxie
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Earthquake
- Close Combat
- Stone Edge
- Knock Off

Scarfcross' main job is to come in late game and sweep with close combat once everything that resists it is dead. Hits Blissey and Umbreon hard, which my team otherwise has a little bit of a problem with. Originally I was running megahorn to hit psychics, but then I realized Hera gets access to knock off. Edgequake combo is there for good coverage against flying and fire types.

bae (Mew) @ Leftovers
Ability: Synchronize
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 248 HP / 172 Def / 72 SpD / 16 Spe
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Will-O-Wisp
- Defog
- Psychic/Taunt
- Roost

Next up is Mew. I love this guy. Absorbs status no problem and dishes it back out with synchronize. Burns physical attackers that think they can just come in and knock off. These EVs are stolen from KlefkiHolder and are amazing. I'm running Psychic over Taunt so Mew can have some offensive presence, and if something starts setting up I can usually switch into Swampert and roar it out. Defog is to get rocks off the field so Mega-Aero can come in and Roost is to recover health even when Leftovers have been knocked off.

God (Kecleon) @ Assault Vest
Ability: Protean
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Power-Up Punch
- Shadow Sneak
- Sucker Punch
- Fake Out

The priority king. Kecleon has caused many a rage quit. With Assault Vest, Kec has some solid Spdef bulk and can take hits while power up punching away and then sucker punching or Ssneaking for the KO. Adamant and 252 EVs in Attack to hit even harder. Shadow Sneaking when fighting types come in and try to high jump kick is always a good time. Over all kecleon is fun to use and if you aren't familiar with it, it can do some solid work.

Land B4 Time (Aerodactyl) @ Aerodactylite
Ability: Unnerve
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Aerial Ace
- Stone Edge
- Earthquake
- Thunder Fang

I wanted a mega on my team and I wanted something fast. Insert Mega Aerodactyl. Unnerve so there will be no enjoyment of berries. EVs are pretty self explanatory. Jolly nature to be as fast as possible. Easily outspeeds ScarfCross'. Aerial Ace to hit things like Heracross, Mienshao, etc. Another EdgeQuake combo for stab and coverage. Lastly is thunder fang which is somewhat of a filler move, but has come in handy to hit things like a weakened Slowbro or Vaporeon. Mega Aero is another sweeper that comes in late game when the opposing team is weakened and puts in work.

Swamp Rat (Swampert) @ Leftovers
Ability: Torrent
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Def
Relaxed Nature
- Scald
- Stealth Rock
- Roar
- Earthquake

Swampert's main job is to get rocks up, and then roar things around that try to set up or chip away damage. Although he's invested in physical defense, he can take a special attack or two besides a giga drain or other grass move. Scald is there for STAB and to hopefully burn everything in sight. I'm also running scald over waterfall so if Swampert gets burned he can still have some offensive presence.

Daddy (Nidoking) @ Life Orb
Ability: Sheer Force
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Thunderbolt
- Ice Beam
- Earth Power
- Sludge Wave

Lastly comes the only special sweeper on my team. I've loved Nidoking ever since Gen 1 and is one of the main stars of my team. Pretty standard special set. Sheer Force + Life Orb for the extra power. Classic BoltBeam combo for coverage and to hit hard against water and flying types among others. Earth Power for the strong special ground STAB and then Sludge wave over bomb to hit Chesnaught. Timid and fully invested in speed to outpace other Nidokings and other pokes not invested. I was thinking about possibly running a mixed set so Nido doesn't get walled by Blissey and Umbreon although like I said earlier I have other ways to deal with them. I have enough special attackers so I feel like there's no reason to run physical Nido.

Well that's the squad. Thanks for taking the time to read this and I welcome all thoughts and suggestions.

Hello, I like the team in general! Creative, using Kecleon, but unfortunately Ghost AND Dark coverage is rather redundant, so I suggest replacing Shadow Sneak with a different move, like Drain Punch, considering that even with added bulk from Assault Vest, you still need recovery of sorts. That's about all I feel comfortable suggesting, good luck with the team :)

Thanks a lot. Yeah, that recovery would be great. I will give it a try.
