RMT....I'm bored.

PokeshoTyranitar.gif

Tyranitar @ Choice Band
Adamant - 252 Attack / 252 HP / 4 Speed
+Sand Stream+
~Stone Edge
~Crunch
~Pursuit
~Earthquake

CBTar is a beast. I feel that CBTar is much better than DDTar. For one thing, even after a DD Tar won't be too fast. When they switch in, say, their ScarfCross, you have to switch out, and your boost is gone. With a Choice Band, you hit whatever switches in VERY hard. But most people know the drill. Stone Edge and Crunch hit with STAB. Pursuit hits the sissies like Starmie and Azelf. Earthquake is mostly filler, really, but it still hits things incredibly hard that my other moves can't, primarily steel types. I might put something like Fire Blast in its place with a different nature, but I highly doubt it, as this is standard for a reason...

PokeshoStarmie.gif

Starmie @ Leftovers
Timid - 248 Speed / 132 Sp. Attack / 128 HP
+Natural Cure+
~Surf / Ice Beam
~Rapid Spin
~Recover
~Thunderbolt

This gets immediate second in my team, as I've heard most Sandstorm teams are weak against Mixape. Rapid Spin is the saving grace to my Salamence. Thunderbolt helps with the Gyarados my team may have problems with otherwise. Surf for STAB and Recover to get my HP back from the entry hazards and the sandstorm. I think STAB is a bit more important than coverage...

PokeshoGliscor.gif

Gliscor @ Leftovers
Impish - 252 Defense / 252 HP / 4 Attack
+Sand Veil+
~Earthquake
~Roost
~Ice Fang
~Stealth Rock

Gliscor is my Physical Wall. It takes on Physical Lucario and Heracross especially well. Earthquake takes care of said Lucario. It can simply keep Roosting against Heracross's low PP arsenal, so I put in Ice Fang to deal with physical dragons over Aerial Ace. Stealth Rock builds even more onto the residual damage, and can take a huge chunk out of Pokemon like Yanmega or Salamence.

PokeshoBlissey.gif

Blissey @ Leftovers
Calm - 108 Sp. Attack / 148 HP / 252 Defense
+Natural Cure+
~Flamethrower / Hidden Power [Ground]
~Ice Beam
~Softboiled
~Aromatherapy / Light Screen / Counter / Sweet Kiss

Of course, Blissey. It may not work at its full potential in a sandstorm, but Blissey is an asset to almost every team that doesn't want to be swept by something like SpecsMence. I might want to put in some Sp. Defense EVs so that Luke and Gengar can't take it down with their Specs moves...I dunno, I've never used Bliss before. Flamethrower hits Luke and Heracross switch ins hard, while HP [Ground] hits Luke and Infernape very hard (like over 50%). The last slot can't be status since I'll have Toxic Spikes up. Aromatherapy helps cure MY status, while Light Screen can help support my team. Counter could catch physical foes off-guard, and Sweet Kiss can potentially mess them up for my switch in.

PokeshoSalamence.gif

Salamence @ Life Orb
Rash - 120 Atk / 252 SpA / 136 Spe
+Intimidate+
~Draco Meteor
~Brick Break
~Fire Blast
~Dragon Claw / Roost

Speaking I think that MixMence can do well on this team. There was originally a SpecsMence in its place, but I got a suggestion from Meh1 that Blissey will give me hard times if TTar is my only option against it. So MixMence it is. A STAB Draco Meteor will still hurt. My main concern with this is all of the damage it'll be taking. Sandstorm + Life Orb + Stealth Rock = 47.5% of my HP gone by the time I get my first attack in. o_o Well, Starmie can help with this. Dragon Claw is reliable STAB in the last slot, but Roost could definitely help me take off that residual damage I'll be taking, and maybe even nab me some Ice 2x instead of 4x from some weak Ice Beams, like Blissey's or [non-CM] Cresselia's.

PokeshoBronzong.gif

Bronzong @ Leftovers
Bold - 252 Defense / 252 HP / 4 Sp. Attack
+Levitate+
~Calm Mind / Reflect / Light Screen
~Psychic / Gyro Ball
~Hypnosis
~Flash Cannon / Hidden Power [Ice] / Grass Knot

I thought my team was turning a bit Mamoswine weak, so I put in Bronzong. It can wall Mamo with ease, and set up in its face. Hypnosis can sleep stuff, and Psychic gets STAB. The last slot is either more STAB in the form of Flash Cannon, Hidden Power [Ice] hits...stuff....or Grass Knot for more stuff to hit. Or I could just make it standard (minus Stealth Rock..or maybe take it off Gliscor for another slot, like...Taunt?) and make it a lead. But it's mainly here to take care of my Mamo weakness, and it has pretty good tanking prowess in general. I feel that it's not doing anything for my team other than counter Mamoswine. Is this really enough of a reason to take up a slot on my team...? Other walls can be taken down by Blizzard and such...I don't want that to happen. Maybe I can change its moveset or something, to better help the team. Reflect or Light Screen over a move, perhaps? If I go with one of these over Calm Mind, STABs don't seem so attractive anymore, so Gyro Ball would be better for that. But Grass Knot is still handy for Mamoswine and things like Swampert.

.:Closing:.

I feel that this team is better than the team that was originally in this thread. I really hope that that team didn't turn away too many people...I wish I could edit titles. >_< Anyways, there are some common weaknesses, like Fighting, Ice, and Ground, but there are some good switch ins for those weaknesses, like Gliscor, Bronzong, and Salamence, respectively. This team mainly focuses on the very brutal offensive power of my two sweepers - Salamence and Tyranitar - and supports them with things like Light Screen, and also supports their weaknesses with one or two Pokemon that can harm the opponent in ways such as Sleep or Stealth Rock.

Yes, I know, it is long and maybe boring for some of you. But I *tried* spicing it up with humor and color. I work very hard on these RMTs, so I expect you working hard on your replies. You should try using correct grammar and spelling...it really annoys me when people use letters for words. It just bugs me. Also, none of this, "your team is ____ weak", as that is just as lazy as using letters for words. Tell me why I have this problem and how to fix it. Also include what I'll lose and benefit from in the suggested change. This makes it easier for me to consider suggestions. I also apologize if any of the font colors are hard to read. If they are, please tell me, and I'll fix it ASAP.

Thanks.

YEA... I wish we could edit titles...
I sense a BIG MACHAMP weakness. It would destroy your team. I sugest you ditch that starmie for a slowbro, unless you have a better idea.

This team was well thought out, and I congrats you for that. Then again, any team without slowbro will have a machamp problem.

This is a fairly solid team. I will simply point out some flaws in your sets/EV's that might give you an edge.

Firstly, on your Tyranitar description, you were considering Fire Blast. If you simply change up your spread, you can outspeed and 2HKO Skarmory/Forretress with Stone Edge. I suggest running 252 Att / 196 Speed / 60 HP with Adamant. This outspeeds no-speed Cresselia as well so you get the jump on that. I see no need for max HP on a non-Sp.Def-oriented Tyranitar.

On Starmie, I would much rather run Surf over Ice Beam. Without Surf, you are asking for CBTar's to pursuit you to death, and you're out your Rapid Spinner. Most Stall teams make it their first priority to Pursuit Starmie to rid of rapid spin, and Surf is your only way of dealing with this. Besides, you seem to have enough dragon coverage with Blissey + Gliscor + Bronzong. Also without Surf, Starmie does not become your "counter" to Infernape, and it can promptly 6-0 the team.

Blissey's EV spread is off. I would much rather run 252 Def / 176 Sp.Def / 80 Sp. Att. This way, you don't sacrifice much offensive power for a lot more Sp. Def, which is necessary with the amount of hard-hitting special sweepers. As for your choice of moves, I would much rather just run Seismic Toss over Flamethrower. You already have counters to all those threats that you mentioned in your description, so I wouldn't bother wasting another slot to kill them. Seismic Toss will help you wear down random Swamperts (who is one of this team's main problems).

Salamence wants Roost for sure. Especially on this type of team, not running Roost is basically asking for suicide. Besides, Dragon Claw does nothing that the combination of Brick Break / Draco Meteor can't do.

Now Bronzong is definately not a lost cause on this team, I feel that you aren't utilizing it properly. Calm minding is not suppose to be its niche. I would much rather run the standard Hypnosis / Earthquake / Gyro Ball / Reflect. Earthquake is a nice surprise on the number one Bronzong switch-in (Heatran) and reflect will further help you out against Garchomp. Shift those 4 EV's from Special Attack to Attack.

I feel this team is standard but solid. Last change I would make is to lead with Bronzong. Starting the Sandstorm too early may hamper Salamence, who can be useful in breaking-down walls early-game so that you can hit hard late-game.

Wow, I really like all of these suggestions. Slowbro seems like a good idea (I was told of my Machamp weakness on another forum I put this team on; Slowbro came up), but I don't know where to put it. IF I'll put it.
