XY OU RMT: I'm bring SubPunch back!

So, apparently my somewhat 2000 ranking was huge in Gen 5, and it got me to the top 200, and I can thank that to SubPunch Breloom. I haven't been doing well this Gen, so I thought to my self: "why don't you make another SubPunch Breloom team!" So I'm doing exactly that, along with some other friends from the Gen 5 meta.

1-Up (Breloom) (M) @ Toxic Orb
Ability: Poison Heal
EVs: 12 HP / 252 Atk / 244 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Focus Punch
- Substitute
- Spore
- Seed Bomb

286.png

The glue to my team. His power is absolutely monsterous. He puts everything to sleep, and packs a (no pun intended) punch. Look at some damage calcs:

252+ Atk Breloom Seed Bomb vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Slowbro: 194-230 (49.2 - 58.3%) -- 64.1% chance to 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
252+ Atk Breloom Focus Punch vs. 252 HP / 232+ Def Skarmory: 154-183 (46.1 - 54.7%) -- 60.5% chance to 2HKO
252+ Atk Breloom Seed Bomb vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Azumarill: 348-410 (86.1 - 101.4%) -- 12.5% chance to OHKO
252+ Atk Breloom Focus Punch vs. 252 HP / 252 Def Heatran: 408-482 (105.6 - 124.8%) -- guaranteed OHKO

Clearly an absolute monster. Don't slack on him, unless you want to be 6-0'ed!

Black Widow (Gardevoir-Mega) (F) @ Gardevoirite
Ability: Pixilate
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Psyshock
- Calm Mind
- Focus Blast
- Hyper Voice

282-m.png

I think she is so far my favorite mega, and my favorite special sweeper in the game. A whooping 421 SP. A stat(after IVs and EVs, of course) after mega evolving, which I am tempted to make higher, if I make her Modest. She would 471 if I did, making her the strongest special attacker aside from Mega Gengar, Deoxys attack, Mega Mewtwo Y, Mega Alakazam, and Kyurem-W. I am probably going to decide against it, just because speed kills. Hyper Voice is a monstrous attack after pixilate, and Psyshock helps attack special walls, like Sylveon. Focus Blast is here to take out things like Heatran and Ferrothorn. I am considering changing Calm Mind to Will-O-Wisp, but not sure yet. I'll end this with some damage calcs.

252 SpA Pixilate Mega Gardevoir Hyper Voice vs. 4 HP / 0 SpD Multiscale Dragonite: 229-270 (70.6 - 83.3%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
252 SpA Mega Gardevoir Focus Blast vs. 252 HP / 252+ SpD Heatran: 216-256 (55.9 - 66.3%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
252 SpA Mega Gardevoir Focus Blast vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Ferrothorn: 276-326 (78.4 - 92.6%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
252 SpA Mega Gardevoir Psyshock vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Sylveon: 222-262 (56.3 - 66.4%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery

Krakatoa (Heatran) @ Leftovers
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SpA / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Earth Power
- Lava Plume
- Toxic

485.png

The specially defensive monster is here. He barely gets scratched by any one, taking damage that's almost irrelevant. As seen in Gardevoir's profile, it can tank a focus blast, coming from the Pokemon with the 6th most special attack in the game. Need I say more? The calcs speak for themselves:

4 SpA Rotom-W Hydro Pump vs. 252 HP / 252+ SpD Heatran: 170-204 (44 - 52.8%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after Leftovers recovery
252 SpA Life Orb Greninja Hydro Pump vs. 252 HP / 252+ SpD Heatran: 276-328 (71.5 - 84.9%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
252 SpA Life Orb Thundurus Focus Blast vs. 252 HP / 252+ SpD Heatran: 229-270 (59.3 - 69.9%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery

The thing about Heatran is, is that he packs a nice little punch as well. He isn't OHKOing anything, but he can 2HKO somethings, and then he can set up rocks, and toxic a lot of walls. Also, he is the best counter to Talonflame. No question.

TIde (Rotom-Wash) @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 248 HP / 216 Def / 44 SpA
Bold Nature

479-w.png

- Pain Split
- Will-O-Wisp
- Volt Switch
- Hydro Pump

Rotom-Wash is your typical, annoying Rotom wall. He comes in on earthquakes to take no damage(barring a excadrill or haxorus), and fires back with a Will-O, Hydro, or can pivot with volt switch when I need to keep my offensive momentum rolling. He is a killer counter to many Mons, like Talonflame, to name one, and again, its ability to keep chaining with volt switch, is amazing. There is never a dull moment offensively with Rotom on your team!

Brony (Keldeo) @ Leftovers
Ability: Justified
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Calm Mind
- Scald
- Secret Sword
- Hidden Power [Flying]

647.png

Keldeo is honestly is here as a filler mon. I am highly considering to put Azumarill in his place, because this would get me at 5 special attackers. A bit extraneous. Sylveon can wall me, hard. So I am taking that into consideration. Keldeo is a strong Mon, and very versatile. He was put into consideration to cover up my ice weakness, and to take out Chansey/Blissey. After one Calm Mind, he can sweep most teams, and was my favorite special sweeper Gen 5. Dude is a beast, despite his little size!

Randorosu (Landorus) @ Life Orb
Ability: Sheer Force
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Calm Mind
- Earth Power
- Psychic
- Sludge Wave

645.png

Now we have probably tone of the best Mons in the Meta. Landorus, after life orb, hits almost all mons better than even my Mega Gardevoir. He is always the scariest Mon on the field, even in previews. He has great versatility, and can destroy fairies left and right. The only one he cant ot Azumarill, just because he will get taken out with Aqua Jet. Overall, Landorus is my favorite mon in the Gen 6 meta, and would not change him for anything.

I suggest Replacing Keldeo with Azumarill because like you said 5 special attackers, can't really end that well :[
azumarill.gif

Azumarill @ Assault Vest
Ability: Huge Power
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Atk / 8 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Waterfall
- Knock Off/SuperPower
- Aqua Jet
- Play Rough
This Azumarill set out speeds Other Azumarill sets than run 4 in speed . Nothing much to say about this set other than being able to wall certain mons like Greninja who is actually quite a threat to your team being to out speed most of it and with its move pool possibly ohko'ing or 2ohko'ing half your team. I honestly think Azumarill would fit really nicely on this team stopping one of the Major threats to this team as well as dishing out nice damage against any Pokemon that dares switch into it. Super Power Can replace Knock Off In case Tyranitar's Give you trouble but I honestly think Breloom Can take care of those. Anyway hope that helped'

I see your team will have a hard time dealing with the Skarm/Chansey core, and you need something to be a wall breaker instead of mons that rely on setting up. Try putting a spec on that Keldeo or run an AV/Choice band Azumarill instead. That's just my opinion so don't take it too seriously :) Good luck friend.

Hey MCMuslim cool team! Looking at it so far there seem to be very few problems as you have good checks to stall with three Calm Mind wall breakers and a good defensive core of Rotom-W and Heatran. Looking at it though you seem to be a tad bit weak to offense as your team is relatively slow since you lack a choice scarf user as well as Keldeo being your fastest Pokemon. Seeing as you believe that Keldeo is just a filler mon I think that opting to use a Choice Scarf on it would be the best option to give you a solid revenge killer. I agree with what Angela said above about Azumarill being a good replacement as well as giving you a good dark resist like Keldeo, but Keldeo helps a lot seeing as most set up sweepers such as Mega Tyranitar, Dragonite, or Bisharp can easily run through your team if they weaken most of the checks slightly. Keldeo works great in revenging these Pokemon while still being able to hit hard and threaten offensive teams very easily. The set I have listed includes Icy Wind to take care of Dragonite but you can easily use Hidden Power electric to take care of Gyarados which also poses a big threat to this team.

647_kakugonosugata.gif

Keldeo @ Choice Scarf
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Hydro Pump
- Secret Sword
- Scald
- Icy Wind

Now as I said above most set up sweepers pose a huge threat to your team and the majority can easily set up on Heatran. While Heatran is a reliable stealth rocker it is a huge momentum killer for a highly offensive team such as yours. For that reason I think your team would really benefit from a Pursuit Bisharp. Breloom, Keldeo, and Landorus are all shut down by the Lati twins and with them taken care of very little can stop these three from wrecking havoc across the opponent's team. While you do have a Gardevoir that can switch it, it still takes considerable damage from Psyshock with Life orb Latios doing 44%-51% which makes it only a good switch in once. Bisharp also gives you great backup priority to revenge annoying threats like Thundurus.

625.gif

Bisharp (F) @ Black Glasses
Ability: Defiant
EVs: 188 HP / 220 Atk / 100 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Pursuit
- Sucker Punch
- Iron Head
- Knock Off

Now with this inclusion you lose your Stealth Rocker so the best option here would be to put that on Landorus over Calm Mind. While you do lose a stall breaker you still have Mega Gardevoir which destroys stall after one Calm Mind. Chansey is really the only thing barring Specially Defensive Heatran that can take a hit well and those are both very easy to weaken with your team seeing as 4/6 of your team members beat Heatran and Chansey can easily be pursuited for a quick 30% and with stealth rock up it'll be taken care of quick.

645.gif

Landorus @ Life Orb
Ability: Sheer Force
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Earth Power
- Psychic
- Focus Blast
- Stealth Rock

Well that's all I have for now. Great team and I hope I helped! :]

Hey there MCMuslim, this is a pretty well-built team you have here. Right off the bat, it isnt very hard to see you have a huge problem with setup-sweepers like Mega Gyarados and Mega CharX with Earthquake, as they pretty much sweep your team after one DD. To solve this problem, and also make your team handle Sand Spam and Fly Spam better, I suggest running Scarf Landorus-T > Landorus-I. Landorus-T can come in after sacking a poke, or as the opponent sets up, and revengekill pretty efficiently.

This change makes your team have a hard time breaking stall cores like SkarmBliss and VenuTran, which can be a huge problem. Therefore I suggest running a Modest Nature on Gardevoir and run Taunt > Calm Mind. This makes Garde's job at stallbreaking much easier, as Psyshock now is a guaranteed 3HKO on Chansey, and Taunt hinders it from recovering HP. I also suggest running Taunt > Earth Power on Heatran, as you have two really good switchins to opposing Heatran in Keldeo and Rotom-W, and Taunt lets you hinder slower pokes from recovering, setting hazards and defogging your hazards away. Taunt Heatran also likes running some speed EV's to outspeed Scizor, Mega Venusaur and Mandibuzz, taunting and attacking before they get to move.

Lastly, I agree with Angeela that running AV Azumarill > Keldeo would be a change for the better, as having a second good switchin to Keldeo, Greninja and Mamoswines Ice Attacks is very important to your team. Latios running EQ is also a huge problem to your team, something Azumarill comes in on for free. As a last little nitpick, Rotom-W runs 44 Speed EV's to outspeed Max Speed Azumarill, and while that is uncommon, I'd rather be safe than sorry.
