RMT: Improvement needed

Well hello there, look's like i have created a RMT. I'm new here, but i've been fascinated with pokemon for a few months already, and this is one of my many teams i have been creating, and i think out of all my teams, this is one of the best teams i've created.
(forgive the introduction, i just want to say i'm new)

Intro: After many failures, i finally created a adequate team (according to my standards) but still it think it needs improvements.

Azelf @ Choice Scarf
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Naive Nature (+Spd, -SDef)
- Taunt
- Stealth Rock
- Trick
- Explosion

Azelf is just a TrickScarf Azelf, but do not underestimate her. What i do with her: If i am facing a Scarfed Jirachi, i'll just stealth rock and switch. If not, this Azelf can outspeed almost any lead, and can be death fodder or a pokemon that gives a free switch in + damage to the opponent because of Explosion.

Gengar (M) @ Life Orb
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Substitute
- Pain Split
- Shadow Ball
- Focus Blast

SubSplit Gengar, well i try to make my team original, but sometimes i just have to resort to... well, copying. Gengar is just my main Blissey counter (because of heatran), and to finish off/severely weaken any pokemon.

Heatran (M) @ Balloon
Trait: Flash Fire
EVs: 252 SAtk / 252 SDef / 4 Spd
Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Lava Plume
- Dragon Pulse
- Earth Power
- Stealth Rock

Heatran, my favourite pokemon, is a must be on all of my teams, even though there's a heavy Ground weakness. SR Heatran, oh and you see that my Heatran is SpD and SpA based. Well, it's because i have been getting lots of trouble facing enemy heatran, in case of the enemy heatran outspeeding me.

Salamence (M) @ Life Orb
Trait: Intimidate
EVs: 144 Atk / 114 SDef / 252 Spd
Hasty Nature (+Spd, -Def)
- Dragon Dance
- Dragon Claw
- Earthquake
- Roost

Salamence and heatran have almost perfect synergy, only neutral to Rock and Electric. It's like a DD Salamence, just that it has Roost to remove life orb recoil, and to increase staying power. 114 SDef because i see that most pokemon such as Starmie have Ice Beam, and thus the SDef EVs. As for pokemon such as mamoswine or sneasel who have Ice Shard, just switch to Heatran.

Forretress (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Sturdy
EVs: 252 HP / 112 Atk / 144 Def
Relaxed Nature (+Def, -Spd)
- Gyro Ball
- Rapid Spin
- Spikes
- Toxic Spikes

I thought i needed a Spinner, and who better than forretress to do that, plus entry hazards? So you know, 0 IVs on speed, Gyro Ball for maximum use of the immensely low speed, Rapid Spin, Toxic Spikes and Spikes for the entry hazard spinning and laying. He also acts as a efficient physical wall IMO, so you can switch to Forretress in case of ice shards.

Celebi @ Leftovers
Trait: Natural Cure
EVs: 232 HP / 240 SAtk / 36 Spd
Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Thunder Wave
- Leaf Storm
- Heal Bell
- Healing Wish

I noticed i needed a healer, because my entire team is basically offensive. So i modified Celebi's Tinkerbell set a bit, well maybe not a bit, but it's effective IMO. Heal Bell to remove status, Healing Wish to sacrifice Celebi when she's at low health. Leaf Storm is Celebi's main and only attack, though.

Overview:

Yes, to you this team MAY be bad, but do think that i have been trying out my own teams for a LONG time and think about my first team i ever created...

Well, i've finished my RMT. Yes, i know that there are no pictures, but i couldn't find them. Sorry, but if anybody could give/tell me where the photos are, i would greatly appreciate it.

If this is going to be for 5th gen, swap Forretress out in favor of Ferrothorn, better resistances and just as good set up abilities. Also, Azelf and Celebi on the same team?

i have some things to say first off

AZELF
why do you have 252 special attack EVS explosion is the only attacking move you have on it and explosion is a PHYSICAL move. seems like a waste to me.

GENGAR:
That is an interesting smogon moveset but this is one thing where i disagree with smogon on. Gengar is very frail and with the new 5 generation pokemon it can be outsped a lot more now what i would run is this set from smogon
Uber Life Orb

Life Orb Timid Moveset EVs ~ Shadow Ball
~ Icy Wind
~ Focus Blast
~ Hidden Power Fire
4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe This Gengar's function is twofold: it is a revenge killer who can switch moves, and it is a lure. Gengar can OHKO Rayquaza 100% of the time with Icy Wind, as long as Stealth Rock is down (about 80% of the time without). Icy Wind also has the beneficial side effect of lowering your opponent's Pokémon's Speed by 1 stage, which allows Gengar to outspeed all Pokémon who reach a Speed stat of 522 (including base 100s with a +Speed nature and a Choice Scarf). By using Hidden Power Fire, Gengar can eliminate Scizor, which is OHKOed by Hidden Power Fire even when the sun is not out; however, it is only a 2HKO in the rain. Metagross, on the other hand, is 2HKOed by a Hidden Power Fire with no weather (in the sun it has a small chance to OHKO, but its only a 3HKO in the rain). Tyranitar is also handled relatively easily, since there's a 100% chance of an OHKO even when Tyranitar has maximum HP and Special Defense and a +SpD nature as long as there is Stealth Rock and a layer of Spikes up.

HEATRAN:
only issues is if a raindance team comes out with a choice band, superpower, aqua jet azumarill comes out your in trouble even if you switch to salamence he is as good as dead from taking two aqua jets.

SALAMENCE:
the problem with salamence is ice type pokemon. you got special defence for things like that but what about an ice shard (whatever ice type move that always hits first) mamoswine, or a destiny bond froslass, or a 252 EV Choice Specs Glaceon. Yes you could just switch into heatran but if heatran is already dead (or its a destiny bond froslass) then you just flat out are in trouble.

FORETRESS:
change him to ferrothorn and here is the info i reccomend

Item: Occa Berry (just what i prefer just in case they switch to a fire type)
move 1: Power Whip
move 2: Gyro Ball
move 3: Level Ground
move 4: Curse
nature: Adamant
evs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Sdef
IVS: 0 SPEED

this set is a curse set and if you can get it running then you are going to have a nasty attacker especially with STAB gyroball.

CELEBI:
Why are you running 240 SpAtk EVs. Celebi is your healer so your primary concerns should be defence and special defence not an attacking stat.

Those are just edits that i think would make it better but thats just me.

I second putting Nattorei over Forretress, but I'd suggest the standard support set:
name: Spiker
move 1: Spikes
move 2: Leech Seed / Stealth Rock
move 3: Power Whip
move 4: Gyro Ball
item: Leftovers / Shed Shell
nature: Sassy
evs: 252 HP / 60 Def / 196 SDef

Although this loses you your spinner, your team doesn't appear to need one that badly.
Now, about that Salamence: Those EVs aren't really going to help, as a Starmie is going to OHKO you with Ice Beam even with those Sp. Def EVs. Actually, Salamence is completely outclassed as a bulky Dragon Dancer by Dragonite.

move 1: Dragon Dance
move 2: Dragon Claw / Outrage
move 3: Fire Punch / Brick Break
move 4: Roost
ability: Multi Scale
item: Leftovers / Lum Berry
nature: Adamant
Evs: 252 HP / 40 Atk / 216 Spe

In general, I would actually suggest you pick either bulky offense or full offense, because hybrid sets (for example your Heatran and your Salamence EVs) are suboptimal.

I have a question: when Celebi uses Healing Wish, what is its recipient? Generally it is more beneficial to choose a specific recipient to revive a second time rather than having no clear idea.

Well, those are my two cents.

I've tried the nattorei and dragonite sets, and I've replaced celebrity with magnezone seeing how dragonite is revenged so much. Thanks! More rates and suggestions welcome.

Okay, if you dont mind me saying something, i'm glad that you put in zone, because that thing pretty much wrecks natt and other steels with HP Fire or a sub beam set. Also, to make people read your RMT, you might want to add some pictures. I know that this has nothing to do with your team, but it makes the RMT seem more friendly instead of a large wall of text. Also, i dont know if you made this change, but do what battler3793 said, and change Satk to Atk for explosion damage. I would make Azelf Jolly so he wouldnt get killed by a dark pulse or something too fast.

If you need help testing i'll probably be on Smogon PO a lot tommorow!
