Okay, now for the RMT.
Team at a glance:
Okay, now for the lead.
Bronzong@Leftovers/Choice (something)
252 HP / 86 Atk / 80 Def / 92 SpD @ Sassy/Relaxed
Levitate
-Stealth Rock
-Hypnosis/Trick
-Gyroball
-Explosion/Earthquake
Alright, here is your standard Bronzong, I chose it as a lead because I want to get stealth cock up as soon as possible, but since I'm not into the idea of suicide leads I chose this guy, since it has a fair amount of bulk, I could set up Stealth Cock, then hopefully cripple the opponent with a Hypnosis or Trick a choice item onto a wall. Gyroball is for stab, and with the EV's it can OHKO most fast sweepers such as Weavile, Gengar, and Alakazam, while living any attack they could throw at him. It also 2HKO's standard Tyranitar. The choice of Explosion or EQ is a toughy, I'm leaning twords EQ because Explosion is usually more of a Blissey/Lax counter, and I have Hitmonlee to do that, but still, it's a tough choice for me. Now, the choice of Trick over Hypnosis -- You may think, well oh, that's easy, Hypnosis has shit accuracy, pick Trick, but if I run Trick I'm not guaranteed the Leftovers recovery that may be able to help Bronzong tank out an extra hit or two and that posses a problem to me.
Porygon2@leftovers
252 HP / 216 Def / 40 SpA @ Bold
Trace
-Discharge
-Icebeam
-Recover
-Toxic/Thunder Wave
In the previous version of this team, I had a Salamence problem, but with this little bugger, that is no more! He is the only one sides "wall" on my team, as the other two are a more mixed than not. None the less, as stated before, this guy covers my Salamence problem very nice, he should be able to take any hit Mence has to offer, even special ones, despite being based on the physical side and fire back with an Icebeam. This also provides a nice shut down for Gyarados, Scarftran, and Jolteon. In short, he covers a lot of attackers. I haven't used a P2 ever and I'm still working on this team and in my testing I haven't been able to determine if Toxic or Thunder Wave would be better. Any suggestions on that would help. Well, that's all there is for Porygon2, on to the next Poke.
Hitmonlee@Choice Scarf
252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe @ Adamant
Limber
-Close Combat
-Stone Edge
-Earthquake
-Mach Punch
A wondeful revenge killer here, as well as a great physical threat. He has awesome coverage with the move set given, I'm sorry but there really isn't much else I can say.
[EDIT]: Mach Punch replaced Blaze Kick in fear of SD Lucario with crunch.
Arcanine@Life Orb
228 Atk / 92 SpA / 188 Spe @ Naive
Flash Fire/Intimidate
-Thunder Fang
-Flareblitz
-Hidden Power [Grass]
-Dragon Pulse
Well, this guy covers my lack of Physical power and still provides pretty nice coverage. Intimidate or Flash Fire would work, I really have no clue on what to pick, but it works great with Vaporeon since he can lure Pokes in to use Water based attacks.
Thunder Fang is for Gyarados Flareblitz Scizor and Hidden Power [Grass] for Swampert, Dragon Pulse is filler, if anyone has a better EV spread or moveset for this guy just let me know. I was also considoring using the Scarfanine
or
Arcanine@Choice Scarf
228Atk/190SpA/92Spe @Rash/Lonely
-Flare Blitz
-Thunder Fang
-Dragon Pulse/Over Heat
-Hidden Power[Grass]
This guy makes a great mixed sweeper, and with the given speed EV's you'll outspeed all base 120's with a speed boosting nature. While Arcanine doesn't have the largest movepool ever, he has great coverage. Flare Blitz for the obvious, Thunder Fang has Tenta/Gyarados covered. Dragon Pulse has Mence, Kingdra, Flygon, and Altaria covered all in one move, while it cannot OHKO any of them with the given EV's, it'll do about 75% to Kingdra and Mence, but if Mence is really a problem, then you can always go for HP Ice, then you're forced to use Over Heat as your last move. HP Ground is for Heatran. Rash Nature is suggested because you have more EV's in attack, so it'll boost that stat alittle more. HP [Grass] for Swampert
Vaporeon@Choice Specs
4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Def @ Modest
Water Absorb
-Surf/Hydropump
-Hidden Power [Electric]
-Icebeam
-Wish
Vaporeon is my favorite Pokemon on this team, mainly because of the moveset I'm running on it. The idea is to lure in something that would normally counter Vappy, and crush it with a Specs Surf/Hydropump.
Hidden Power[Electric] is for other Water types, namely Gyarados and Icebeam is for Dragon/Flying types. Wish was chosen to hopefully let poor Vappy, who lacks recovery, here last a little longer. The choice of Surf/Hydropump is a really tough one for me, Hydropump is rediculously strong with STAB and Choice specs factored in, it's enough power to OHKO a shuckle and that's pretty cool, but the accuracy and PP are a downer, so I'm not too sure on the move here.
Rotom-H@ Leftovers
252 HP / 120 Def / 136 SpD
Nature: Bold
Ability: Levitate
-Rest
-Sleep Talk
-Overheat/Shadow Ball
-Discharge
This is Rotom's standard defensive set and allows it to act arguably one of the the best Rapid Spin blocker available in the current metagame. Its unique typing gives it a variety of resistances and immunities giving it many oppurtunities to switch in. When coupled with good defensive stats, it is a difficult Pokemon to take down. Shadow Ball is used to combat opposing Rotom's and Discharge has a very useful 30% paralysis rate which can prove handy throughout the course of your matches. Rest is for healing yourself and Sleep Talk is so I am not defenseless while sleeping. Overheat makes as a nice tool to take down Scizor, but I'm not too fond of the SpA drop, opinions?
Well, here is the team, please rate and give any advice you have to offer! Thanks in advance
