RMT Monotype Dark

So I recently have been playing monotype a lot, and this is my new team. I really wanted to use dark for its overall capabilities, and its awesome Pokemon looks. So, here is my team.

Commanda (Krookodile) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Moxie
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature
- Earthquake
- Crunch
- Iron Tail
- Stone Edge

Krookodile is a great dark type. Although it really has little resistances, he has decent speed and very nice attack. That added to his good move pool, put him on the team. He is a good choice scarcer, and the bonus is that you can easily sweep with Moxie. The move set is to help kill fairies, and also just kill. Thats Commanda's job.

Assassin (Sableye) @ Leftovers
Ability: Prankster
EVs: 252 HP / 116 SDef / 140 Spd
Timid Nature
- Will-O-Wisp
- Recover
- Foul Play
- Taunt

After deciding to use this guy over Spiritomb, I came up with this set to utilize prankster. I later found out that it is almost the same as Smogon's XD. I use Sableye for free switch in's due to his typing, and stalling with prankster. Overall this set is very nice for my team.

Slice n' Dice (Bisharp) @ Focus Sash
Ability: Defiant
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SDef
Adamant Nature
- Brick Break
- Iron Head
- Night Slash
- Sucker Punch

Honestly this guy just looks too cool for me to not use him. I thought this set might work, and it has worked okay for me so far. Switching in to sticky web is great with him, also due to defiant. Anyway, I just had to put Bisharp on to the team for the steel stab and looks.

Watchdog (Houndoom) @ Houndoominite
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 4 Atk / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Hasty Nature
- Sucker Punch
- Shadow Ball
- Nasty Plot
- Fire Blast

I needed a mega, and here I am. The fire moves are nice, and he has good stats. Also, I really didn't want tyranitar, soooo…. This guy is very powerful and can always take a few hits. He is also very fast and is good for switch-ins. I really like his design too :).

Spy (Zoroark) @ Focus Sash
Ability: Illusion
EVs: 4 Atk / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Hasty Nature
- Flamethrower
- Focus Blast
- Dark Pulse
- Sucker Punch

Not too sure about this guy… I wanted a dark type and he is pretty good, so I figured, Wynaut! I can switch in fairly well when he is disguised as sableye, and they never use the right moves on him. He also has decent coverage and fairly nice stats.

Scrapper (Mandibuzz) (F) @ Leftovers
Ability: Overcoat
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Def
Impish Nature
- Brave Bird
- Toxic
- Roost
- Whirlwind

And last we have my friend Mandibuzz. I used Honchcrow for a little while, but I decided on being bulky instead. BB is for obvious reasons. Roost is to heal after taking damage. Toxic is good for stalling, and WW also is nice for switching out threats. Overall this guy can wall (unintentional).

Well, thats the team, please give me suggestions!

As a Dark enthusiast myself, I have to say good job on making a team with Dark types! Now, onto the team. It looks solid, however your choice of Mega is questionable. You have no way of abusing M-Houndoom's Solar Power, unless your opponent is running a Sun Team. My suggestion: Keep Houndoom. You need that Fire-Type. Just not as your Mega. Replace Zoroark with Absol, and Run M-Absol. A great Mega, and with Magic Bounce, gives you a great advantage against teams that relay on setting up hazards.

As for your Mandibuzz, run Defog. It will get rid of any Hazards that have been set up, and since you don't run any Hazards yourself, there is no ill effect to running it.

Hey man great team I'm loving the synergy. Looking at your Bisharp it can be more effective. Here's a set that I've been running and its amazing.

Bisharp @ Life Orb
Ability: Defiant
EVs: 32 HP / 252 Atk / 224 Spd
Adamant Nature
- Knock Off
- Sucker Punch
- Iron Head
- Swords Dance
This set is just beautiful! The +2 Boost from sticky web is something to love, but also if you yourself were to have hazards up (if you decide to get a hazard user in the future), defogs evasion drop would give Bisharp a +2 in attack as well and +4 Bisharp is just monstrous. Using Knock Off on incoming Pokemon does immense damage especially with Knock Off's buff this Gen. Swords Dance for the added power and Sucker Punch and Iron Head as Dual STABs. Life Orb isn't a must you don't desire the power buff with the HP drop. You can also use leftovers or an expert belt.
