RMT >My First Competitive Team

Hi! This is my first "serious" competitive team and I need some tips and advices..
I'm brazilian, so I probably make some misspellings xP
So Let's Go...

breloom.gif

1UP the Breloom (M)
@
Focus Sash
Ability: Technician
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature
- Bullet Seed
- Mach Punch
- Rock Tomb
- Spore

Well, this is my Lead. Have a lot of power with Technician, Breloom can cause a lot of trouble.
Sash ensure a Spore, Rock Tomb OHKO's Talonflame and Mach Punch/Bullet Seed have STAB Power + Technician Power.

Mega_Charizard_X_Animation.gif

Heat the Charizard (M)
@
Charizardite X
Ability: Blaze
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Adamant Nature
- Fire Punch
- Dragon Claw
- Power-Up Punch
- Dragon Dance

My mega and Main Sweeper. Fire Punch is better than Flare Blitz in my opinion, 'cause got Tough Claws and STAB boost and don't have recoil damage.
Dragon Claw is obviously the better dragon stab move, Dragon Dance for boost and Power-Up Punch to cause a nice damage with dragon dance and also boosts more the attack.

garchomp.gif

Landshark the Garchomp (M)
@
Rocky Helmet
Ability: Rough Skin
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature
- Dragon Claw
- Earthquake
- Brick Break
- Stealth Rock

Dragon Claw and Earthquake for STAB, obviously.
Brick Break have a nice base power and broke Reflects and Light Screens, and Garchomp is a nice Pokémon to setup Stealth Rocks, with Rough Skin and Rocky Helmet, any physical contact hurts a lot.

Shinobi The Greninja (M)
@
Expert Belt
Ability: Protean
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature
- Hydro Pump
- Ice Beam
- Dark Pulse
- Grass Knot

A fast Special Sweeper. Protean ensures STAB. Hydro Pump causes a lot of damage, ice beam for grass and Dragons, Dark Pulse for ghosts ond psychics and grass knot for terrakions, tyranitars, etc..
Its a basic set, not much to explain.

gengar.gif

Nightmare The Gengar (M)
@
Focus Sash
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature
- Shadow Ball
- Sludge Wave
- Taunt
- Destiny Bond

Other fast Special pokémon. Shadow Ball and Sludge Wave hurts a lot because of STAB. I preferred to put Sludge Wave instead of Sludge Bomb because for me, it's more important the damage with stab than poison.
Also, Sludge Wave hurts Bulletproof Chesnaught. Because of the high Speed, Taunt is a good move and Destiny Bond for when death is imminent, lol.

excadrill.gif

Drill The Excadrill (M)
@
Choice Scarf
Ability: Mold Breaker
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature
- Iron Head
- Rock Slide
- Earthquake
- Rapid Spin

This is my spinner and Levitate Pokémons Killer. Iron Head for Faeries and Flinchs, Rock Slide OHKO's Talonflame and Mega Charizard Y.
Earhquake hurts anything in the ground and levitate pokes because of Mold Breaker, and Rapid Spin for remove hazards.

This is my team, very offensive. I'll not make "Final Considerations" of this RMT 'cause my English is not so good xD
I hope I have been clear and objective in this post. ^-^v

There really is no reason to use power up punch on Charizard. 40 base power isn't anything exciting, nor is it snagging any kills, and Charizard can already boost its attack with dragon dance. Charizard would actually appreciate having a third move to attack with like thunderpunch or earthquake, and using power up punch on it is honestly a waste.

I agree with Temporaryanonymous, do not give CharX Power-up Punch. Instead, give it Earthquake. I personally would not give Garchomp Stealth Rock and instead make it a Physical sweeper. Instead of Garchomp, I would replace EQ on Excadrill with SR if you decide to teach CharX EQ, so you would have two Pokemon with EQ.

First off, welcome on Smogon, your team looks ok for your first try on a competitive team, but needs some smaller improvements especially with the Movesets. And you English is pretty solid.
Here are some recommended changes:
Charizard:Temporaryanonymous already mentioned this, replace PuP with EQ,Thunderpunch or Roost.Thunderpunch is just for Azumarill who gives you a huge problems otherwise.
Garchomp:Just here for SR,CharX fills already the offensive dragon role, especially if you use EQ on CharX.You should probaly use a bulkier SR setter who can handle some offenive treahts.(Heatran,Landorus T)
Greninja:Life Orb over Expert Belt,Life Orb boost is more powerful and works with neutral and resisted hits.Greninja is already frail,so the recoil damage doesnt makes a difference.
Grass Knot doesnt hit anything relevant harder,Hydro Pump alone will deal with the majority of Ground and Rock Types, replace it with HP Fire or Extrasensory to beat Scizor and Ferro or Mega Venusaur and Conkeldurr.(Or Hp Grass for bulky Waters)
Gengar:Offensive Gengar overlaps a bit with Greninja, you dont really need another special Glass Cannon. A Substitute+Will-O-Wisp Set would be more useful,it can deal with opposing Leads fairly well and creates free Subs on a solid number of defensive Threats. It gives you a better matchup against stall and is able can cripple typical checks and counters, especially Pursuit, Shadow Sneak and Sucker Punch users.

Stolen from Ash Borers Gengar Analysis
Utility Attacker
Ability: Levitate
Item: Black Sludge
Timid Nature
-Substitute
-Shadow Ball
-Will-O-Wisp
-Taunt
Ev Spred: 28 HP / 148 SAtk / 80 SDef / 252 Spd
"Lead with this thing if you see Smeargle or Deoxys-D in the enemy Team, use taunt and then spam Shadow Ball or switch with a teammate.Switch into resisted hits or immunities, get a Sub up and start to harass the opponents team.Against Stall teams Gengar is quite effective as it easily makes free substitutes on stall staples Chansey, Hippowdon, Clefable, and Gliscor.Against more offensive Gengar isn't as great, however its Speed can still be useful, Ghost-type weak Pokemon slower than Gengar can be easily checked, so keep that in mind, and Gengar' fast Will-o-Wisp can be used to shut down slower attackers if necessary."

You team is in general prone to very fast Mons and priority users.Deoxys-S Talonflame and Sucker Punch users will walk over your Team with SR up and Excadrill weakened, sand rush Excadrill and scarfers like Kyurem-B could also cause a lot of trouble.Garchomp is kinda misplaced on this team so you should consider a SR setter who can deal with the mentioned threats or place SR on Exca(which leaves you even more open for T-flame).Bulky ground types like Landorus-T,Hippodown and Gliscor can reliable deal with most priority users but will fall to Deoxys-S
Ice Beam or Psycho Boost.Heatran can deal with Talonflame,SD Mawile and Deoxys-S without Superpower or Low kick, but cant handle Bisharp.

Hope i helped you a bit

Cool, thanks a lot for the help, so I was thinking about this advices, Heatran in the Place of Garchomp is a good replacement? With SR and Roar n.n

Roar/Stealth Rock/Lava Plume/willowisp

Or toxic instead of WoW and lava plume instead of flamethrower.

40 speed 252 hp rest sp.def
