RMT - need advice please

Hey everyone, Im fairly new to the VCG world and have built a team a friend of mine recommended for me to get me back into the game. I've been testing it in doubles but am loosing an awful lot. Can you please take a quick look and let me know what changes I should make?

Ambipom @ Silk Scarf

- double hit
- acrobatics

Fake out + attack user. Acrobatics for flying type coverage.

Hitmontop @ Fighting Gem
Adamant
Ability: Technician
252 hp/252 attack/4 def
- wide guard
- mach punch
- fake out
- sucker punch

Good lead. Early KOs with priority move and use of fake out.

Nidoking @ Life Orb
Modest
Ability: Sheer Force
252 SpA/252 speed/4 hp
- earth power
- sludge bomb
- ice beam
- protect

Special sweeper. Great coverage.

Staraptor @ Choice Band
Jolly
Ability: Intimidate
252 attack/252 speed/4 hp
- brave bird
- close combat
- double edge
- u turn

Hits fast and hard. U turn abuser. Also a good faux lead.

Those are the 4 I use in doubles. I like the team but Im loosing almost all my battles. Perhaps I need to change something or come up with a solid stratedgy?
 
Okay, few things.

1. Your topic will likely be locked unless you format your topic correctly. I recommend reading this to help you understand what to do.

2. You need to expand your descriptions on each Pokemon to include things like; "Why this move is here over this common move," "Why I chose this EV spread," "Who this Pokemon works well with, and what the other Pokemon gets from it."

3. Pictures also make your RMT look nicer, cleaner, and makes it easier for rates.

4. You posted this under UU instead of VGC.

5. You need to have 6 Pokemon, despite this being a VGC team. If you only have 4, your team is easily predictable.

Fix all this, and then you'll start getting rates. Welcome to Smogon! :D
