I've had a lot of attemps at a SandStorm teams, but none of them just seemed to stick. This one seems to work the best and seems to be the most successful out of the others. The general idea is to weaken the opponent's team and then let Garchomp come in for a late game sweep.

tyranitar.png

Tyranitar@Choice Band
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 6 SpD
Adamant nature (+Atk -SpA)
Role: Lead, Main Physical Attacker, Sandstorm Starter

~ Crunch
~ Earthquake
~ Pursuit
~ Stone Edge
Standard CB Ttar is definetely one of the most monstrous leads out there. Starts the sandstorm as soon as the battle begins while at the same time hammers things such as Azelf, Gengar, etc.

gliscor.png

Gliscor@Leftovers
Ability: Sand Veil
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 6 Atk
Impish nature (+Def -SpA)
Role: Heracross/Breloom Counter, Physical Wall, Knock Off -er

~ Aerial Ace
~ Earthquake
~ Knock Off
~ Roost
Standard Physical Wall Gliscor. Knock off is there to aid more towards wearing down the opponent and making it hurt because of the sandstorm. It's also helpful if a Choice Specs/Choice Scarf user is switching in on it. Gliscor actually goes very well with Tyranitar being able to resist most of its weaknesses, that is except for water, which is why I have:

starmie.png

Starmie@Leftovers
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 160 HP / 132 SpA / 216 Spe
Timid nature (+Spe -Atk)
Role: Infernape/Gyarados/Garchomp Counter, Main Special Attacker

~ Surf
~ Thunderbolt
~ Ice Beam
~ Recover
Starmie is a neccessity to this team. Without it I wouldn't have a special attacker, water resist, and Gyarados and MixApe would have a field day with this team. This team doesn't really need a spinner since none of the team members are weak to SR, which is why I chose the CounterStar variant.

bronzong.png

Bronzong@Leftovers / Light Clay
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 128 Atk / 128 Def
Relaxed nature (+Def -Spe)
Role: Team Support

~ Gyro Ball
~ Hypnosis
~ Stealth Rock
~ Light Screen
The Team Supporter, Bronzong. Light Screen over Earthquake since I already have two Earthquake users and Magnezone's usage isn't that prominent. But Bronzong has no reliable recovery which brings us to the next team player:

blissey.png

Blissey@Leftovers
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 80 HP / 252 Def / 176 SpD
Calm nature (+SpD -Atk)
Role: Wish Support, Special Wall

~ Wish
~ Protect
~ Seismic Toss
~ Thunder Wave
WishBliss is here to mostly support Bronzong, but she provides support for other team members as well. Seismic Wave combo works well since I can seismic toss anyone except for ghosts, which I can T-wave and then send in Tyranitar to finish them off. The only problem I have with WishBliss is that it's not allowed on Shoddy and it's very hard to find one otherwise.

garchomp.png

Garchomp@Yache Berry
Ability: Sand Veil
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly nature (+Spe -SpA)
Role: Late Game Sweeper, Physical Attacker

Swords Dance
Fire Blast*
Outrage
Earthquake
The thing I like about YacheChomp is that most of the time it guarauntees you can get at least one swords dance in. As you know, Garchomp has two weaknesses, Dragon and Ice, and since he is faster than all of the other Dragons he can take care of any dragon that switches in (provided no Choice Scarf) and if he gets attacked by an ice attack, yache berry activates and he still has enough bulk to fire back.

*Changed from Dragon Claw

From what I've heard, Wish + Seismic Toss is illegal on Blissey. However, I have a feeling that it's false since wish was on blissey since ADV, and Seismic Toss being a tutor move in Emerald, I don't see why it couldn't be on the same set.

I've used the very exact same YacheChomp on my team, and I must say that you need something to take out steels. Steels in general walk all over this team, so I would actually recomend using Aerodactyl over bronzong and make it your starter with Rock Slide, EQ, Taunt and Stealth Rock. Make sure to give it a sash!

Now that you've Taunted the opposing Bronzong, what do you do after Aero dies? Replace the whore(Blissey) and bring in Magnezone on it! Magnet Rise, sub, and T-bolt to death. it's that simple! XD

Switch that Dragon Claw for Fire Blast. Unboosted Dragon Claw only does 77.37-91.06% against the opposing neutral def Garchomp.

When you say Steels, is there a speific one you're referring to? And wouldn't adding Aerodactyl to the team only increase the problem since it's weak to steel? I think Starmie has most steels covered, but I maybe wrong.

Aerodactyl can taunt Bronzong starters that would normally wall you.

Then Magnezone can destroy not only him, but any other steel as well.

He refers to Forretress, Bronzong, Skarmory, just all those practical steel types. Somehow only Starmie and Bliss are the ones who can manhandle those fiends if Garchomp lacks Fire Blast.

Even if Garchomp has -SAtk nature, 0-EV'ed SAtk does roughly 72.88-85.88% against max HP/SDef Forretress (Doesn't exist, but just a picture).
