Hey everyone ive made a new team and wanted to show it to you. I am not good at writing these, but i will try my best to make it as descriptive and visually appealing as possible. This team's focus is crippling stuff with Dragonite and then shredding through teams with infernape. After testing, i decided i need help building my team so it will actually work on the ladder.
So without further adeuix: RMT!

Heatran (M) @ Shuca Berry
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 4 HP/252 Spd/252 SAtk
Naive nature (+Spd, -SDef)
- Fire Blast
- Earth Power
- Explosion
- Stealth Rock

Heatran. Not much to say here but ill say it anyways. This is an awesome lead! This is the best counter for the most popular lead: Metagross. Not only does it outspeed, but now that they use lum over occa berry more often, fire blast also ohkos. Trick scarf metagross however, does severely screw up this lead. Other leads i try to get SR up on but many have fast taunts, so i just blow up after that, just to scrape some damage before getting KOed. Azelf can be dealt with however and i fare well against it.

porygon2.png

Porygon2 @ Leftovers
Ability: Trace
EVs: 252 HP/216 Def/40 SAtk
Bold nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Toxic
- Ice Beam
- Discharge
- Recover
Pory2, a suggestion mentioned by 5c4rfch0mp. It looks very solid, but i have yet to use it on the ladder. Im not sure yet as to how well it will do against the dragons. From the analysys on smogon its really good. Used to be Gyarados

metagross.png

Metagross @ Choice Band
Ability: Clear Body
EVs: 252 HP/236 Atk/12 Def/8 Spd
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Meteor Mash
- Earthquake
- Bullet Punch
- Thunderpunch

Standard CB Gross: as you can see most of my team is extremely standard, so im very open to suggetions for a different choice user. Prolly a Spexer because i got way too many physical attackers on this team. So suggestions for another choice user are welcome. Onto the moves - Meteor Dash is standard STAB. Earthquake gives me more coverage, especially against heatran. Explosion lets me ko things that are too much of a threat to my team that i cant handle (mixape). Tpunch for general coverage.

infernape.png

Infernape (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Blaze
EVs: 4 Def/252 Spd/252 SAtk
Naive nature (+Spd, -SDef)
- Vacuum Wave
- Fire Blast
- Grass Knot
- Nasty Plot
Infernape, one of my favourite sweepers, right behind mixmence. The ev spread gives more power to his close combat than other napes have, and its been very helpful. Although i dont think sacrificing the speed is really worth it. Need some help on that. The moveset is from the smogon analysis. Anyways, like i said, need help on the ev spread, so anything you can provide will be considered.

scizor.png

Scizor (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Technician
EVs: 176 HP/252 Atk/4 Spd/76 SDef
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Bullet Punch
- Swords Dance
- Superpower
- U-turn

Scizor. The cleaner. After celebi has finished spreading paralysis this guy comes in and pwns. After 1 SD, BP has enough power to take down even the most dedicated walls. Of course, things that resist BP cant be killed. Most of them are steel, so thats why i carry Superpower. The attack drop is negligable because even at +1 power (i never use it 2x) BP is devastating. U turn is a nice secondary stab that also lets me scout for their scizor counter. Usually its heatran so i switch to nape to cc its head off.

dragonite.png

Dragonite (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Inner Focus
EVs: 252 HP/216 Def/40 Spd
Bold nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Thunder Wave
- Heal Bell
- Roost
- Dragon Pulse
---
Here it is: Dragonite the star! When i get this guy in im guaranteed to cripple one of their prized sweepers. Heal bell rids my team of annoying status. This fuctions like a blissey with the speed to use heal bell effectively. As you can see, this team is based on crippling and then sweeping with a counter to that. I will not use blissey because is takes away from the idea of having an offensive team. This dragonite used to be celebi.

Threats (i will only post pokemon i have trouble with here)

Mixape~ A HUGE threat. The only way for me to kill it is sacrificing something in return for crippling it, and getting a revenge kill with metagross.

Salamence~ most of them give me trouble because they kill my entire team after a dd, and i got nothing to combat it.

Anyways there is my team. I hope its acceptable for team raters to rate, and that it you can give me help as to what to do with my team. Any ways to combat the threats would be extremely helpful, as long as i retain the offensive nature of this team.

no time for full rate now, may edit later

64 Atk / 252 SpA / 192 Spe on Infernape. with your current one positive base 100s will run you to the ground.

and Shuca berry on heatran, to save you from ground attacks.

thats all for now, and good luck with the team =)

With the spread that has been given to you, you aren't sacrificing speed, since Infernape has 108 base speed, which is in a unique speed tier. You are still outspeeding +Speed base 100s, and the lower speed helps you against other Infernape's so you can hit their -1 defense instead of them doing the same to you.

Leftovers>Life Orb IMO. The extra power doesn't really matter when you are losing 25% each switchin, 10% each attack, and possibly 6.25% each turn from sandstorm/weather. You are still shut down by Starmie and Celebi, so losing that much HP could be detrimental to a late game sweep, leaving you vulnerable to revenge kills, even Lucario's Extremespeed and Scizor's Bullet Punch.

I don't really like Celebi as a Heal Beller, as it almost always allows Flygon, Scizor, Infernape, Tyranitar, and Heatran free switchins. If you really need a Heal Beller, I suggest Dragonite:

Dragonite @ Leftovers
Ability: Inner Focus
Nature: Careful / Calm (+SpD, -SpA / Atk)
EV: 248 HP / 216 SpD / 44 Spe
-Dragon Claw / Dragon Pulse
-Roost
-Heal Bell
-Thunder Wave

Provides similar support, including paralysis, which they both do well. If you are worrying about Gyarados-don't. It will most likely die from trying to switch into Heatran, and Metagross survives a +1 EQ and OHKOs back.

As for Salamence, Celebi can easily stop its sweep. Send it in after you know it is a DDer, then simply Thunder Wave it as it's +1 LO Outrage fails to knock off 3/4 of your health. This team then has plenty of options to stop it. You can send in one of your three steels(or two since Heatran has suicidal tendencies), and either SD with Scizor or MM with Metagross. Salamence shouldn't be a problem between Stealth Rock + LO.

As you mentioned, Mixape and DDMence tear you to shreds. On that note, any mixed sweeper in general can wear you down, especially MixNite, MixMence, and Mixape. You also have one main special attacker, which lets physical walls come in and laugh at you.

I would add a check to the dragons on your team, since you surpisingly have nothing outside of Gyarados to hit them for SE. Porygon2 makes a great crippler to Mence with a Traced Intimidate. T-bolt/Ice Beam/Recover/ filler works with me.

As for Mixape... putting a Vaporeon or Tentacruel on the team would help a lot with that. You could try a Specs Vappy out. Surf/Ice Beam/HP Electric/ Wish or Baton Pass.

As to where Pory 2 and Vappy would go... Vappy can go over Metagross, since you said you wanted a special sweeper. I actually want to put Pory2>> Gyarados, since both Gyara and Scizor clean up late-game, I see Gyarados mainly being a extra sweeper that isn't really needed. Pory 2 would slide in nicely.

I got an idea for Mixape. Don't make it a mixape. Replace Close Combat with Vacuum Wave, and max your speed. After a Nasty Plot, Fire Blast can 2HKO Blissey anyway. And you'll be faster than other Apes so you can use it as a revenge killer too.

On Metagross, I'd replace Explosion with Bullet Punch. It's always more useful seeing as you are so slow and the foe would usually just switch in a Ghost type. It is so much more useful, allowing you to revenge kill faster threats like Salamence, Weavile, and even Lucario and Infernape after they've gotten some defense drops.

Nothing else really for me to suggest.
