EVs: 252 HP/160 Atk/96 SDef
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Encore
- Dynamicpunch
- Substitute

This lead is amazing or incredibly bad. It depends on the opponent on how he does as some people use CB/CSp leads that come out of nowhere. For the most part I can tell when to do what, but he's been incredible so far. A man's man's man's man and good with the ladies.

Caelum (Flygon) (F) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 Atk/176 Spd/80 SAtk
Naughty nature (+Atk, -SDef)
- Earthquake
- Outrage
- U-turn
- Draco Meteor

GREAT Scarf user. Draco Meteor is great, kills other dragons, and doesn't lock me down. Stone Edge is worth a shot, but for the most part Flygon is a hit and run and out-predict. Usually Draco Meteor will end up hitting a physical wall if they are smart enough to figure out why I've sent in Flygon on their DD-Mence. If not it's my win either way.

Who can't love this?

Spert (Swampert) (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Torrent
EVs: 240 HP/216 Def/52 SAtk

Hydra (Kingdra) (F) @ Leftovers
Ability: Sniper
EVs: 6 HP/252 Atk/252 Spd
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Dragon Dance
- Substitute
- Waterfall
- Outrage

Absolutely wrecked a few teams I sent her in against. I've been told that the Rain Dancer is better, but I feel it doesn't help my team much. Whatever you say, Kingdra is a beast.

MAJOR UPDATE

No Spinner or Heal Beller, but still a good team.

D-Nite has survived some pretty powerful Spec.Atks that would've taken out a Salamence though. I prefer using Dragonite and if I do want to set it apart from Salamence I can always use Ice Beam over D-Meteor.

Also people don't tend to see D-Nite coming. People always have their little counters for Salamence, but D-Nite is something that people generally don't use.

If I use MixNite I loose my revenge killer, surprise, as well as my Heatran counter. Sure it might need to invest more EVs into speed, but I prefer it over Scarf-Mence.

Any other advice on the rest of the team though?

Miltank can out-stall some annoying pokemon, set up SR, Heal Bell, and provide Para for the team.

It isn't just some inferior Blissey and has some great uses.

Dont use Giga Drain on Tentacruel. Swampert can OHKO back with Stab Earthquake.

Using Scizor as lead is risky, there are a lot of Azelfs and Infernapes leads that can Ohko your scizor when u think they are going to setup Rocks.

Miltank isnt useful in your team.

Blissey or Curselax > Miltank

Nothing much else to change.

Scizor has been fine so far, it all comes down to a game of prediction. I generally won't leave my Scizor out to face them though as I have other counters. Mainly my weakness lies in my Weavile. I need something that can come in...My pokemon have hard times switching in: Weavile, Infernape, even my Scizor can't just come in unless the pokemon is weak to it. I need a sturdy CBer with or without a priority move.

Gliscor, Swampert, and Flygon have plenty of chances to switch in and the first two hit hard and usually aren't expected to so it can be a surprise. Flygon isn't seen all that much and has a pretty wide move-pool although most people would assume it's a CB/Ser. Only flaw is they all suffer a 4x weakness. Right now Gliscor works perfectly on the team and is able to switch in on Zapdos Tbolts and smack it with a Stone Edge.

Mamoswine has a priority move so the speed doesn't bug me much, but it'd loose to Zapdos without Zapdos suffering some type of damage first. Sceptile might be useful as I can have many sets with it and all of that would basically be a surprise. For the most part I'd stick with a CB/Ser and being resistant to EQ and Tbolt makes it pretty strong. It's not as bulky and has just as many weaknesses as resistances sadly, but it has sheer coolness factored in.

Gliscor has decent speed and attack and is capable of taking hits. Just that the Ice weakness gets to me as I suffer it through my D-Nite. I'm considering using Donphan instead as it has a priority move and won't be taken out by one Ice-Shard, but the speed of it is really an annoyance. Hippowdon is also useable, but Sandstream can hurt my team and might end up being more trouble than it's worth.

I'd prefer to simply change some stuff around and implement better Pokemon so this team works effectively.

For starters, SD Scizor is a horrible lead. As someone mentioned, the increase in leads such as Infernape and Heatran decimate SD Scizor, and you are forced to switch out and content with SR now. Infernape seems like a better lead for this team.

Infernape @ Focus Sash
Hasty Nature
64 Atk / 252 SpA / 192 Spe
-Fake Out
-Stealth Rock
-Fire Blast
-Close Combat

If you really want the extra speed, you could simply max speed to have a chance to win the speedtie with other LeadNape. The strategy is simple: Fake out turn one to prevent the opponent from attacking, and then move from there. Beats the new Shuca Berry Heatran leads, beats Azelf, Tyranitar, etc, and also allows the setup of your own SR to be moved from your cleric to your lead (SR is an invaluable move in the metagame). This also allows Scizor to be moved to late-game sweeper where it is most dangerous.

Ok, onto Tentacruel. If you are using it to simply counter Swampert, that is a lost cause in itself, as Swampert will Earthquake for the easy KO. You also mentioned some CMCune issues. Why not run a CM Celebi in this slot to both aleviate the Swampert issue as well as provide a solid stat-upper which this team lacks? With Infernape as a lead preventing the setup of SR, chances are you don't need a spinner, as the only Pokemon that beats LeadApe is Aerodactyl. CM Celebi with Calm Mind / Grass Knot / HP Fire / Recover fits that slot much better than Tentacruel, and also provides both offensive and defensive support.

I also agree with an above poster that Dragonite in the way you are currently utilizing it is an inferior Salamence. Salamence has higher base speed as well as a higher Special Attack stat, allowing you to fire stronger Draco Meteors. I wouldn't want my scarfer taking many attacks anyway, and the common ice attacks (Ice Shard, for example) still KO both Salamence and Dragonite anyway, so why not use the superior Pokemon?

Finally, for what you are using Miltank for, Blissey does it better by far. Maximize its defense, and you basically get a better Pokemon in that slot. Run Aromatherapy / Softboiled / Thunder Wave / Flamethrower or Seismic Toss (preferably the latter to hit Heatran).

Good luck.

I'm still playing around right now and have to say I haven't really noticed many people even using a competent lead pokemon. Ice Beam is being used over D-Meteor on Scarf-Nite and I'm not replacing it.

The most I have seen in leads is Yanmega and only once did someone lead with Infernape and it was a Choice Scarf. Using GD on Tentacruel is a bit stupid and I'm going to swap it with Toxic Spikes. Weavile I am replacing with either Gliscor-CB or Electivire.

Miltank and Blissey are still completely different and I still prefer Miltank for this. If push comes to shove on it I'd rather scrap it than use Blissey. Instead I'd stick to using a better lead pokemon than having to change Mix-Ape which is a pretty solid choice on the team.

I'm not sure of what to use ad the lead though and really hate the idea of using a suicide lead with no hope of doing anything, but taking out a pokemon and dying the next turn...I do like Yanmega leads though they are annoyingly common...I haven't seen any Aero leads, but would like to give it a shot if it's decent.

MAJOR UPDATE!!!!

I've re-vamped the team almost completely in order to work myself up there. Here is a list:

Tentacruel has been removed
Miltank has been removed
Weavile has been removed

Machamp has been added(Lead)
Electivire has been added
Swampert has been added

UPDATE:

Electivire and Togetic have been removed for DD-Dra and Scarf-Flygon. I'll have the sets up after class.

If you know the sets off hand then tell me how you think the team looks.

Wow half your team gets raped by zapdos and the other half gets destoyed by a curse pert.
Zapdos with hp grass tbolt will rape you.
Switch togekiss with CB Flygon. This will help you alot against these two friends.

UM O_O
i did not see this scarf flygon is so useless with a scarf it does like nothing too anything and is therefore completely useless against school.
For example stone edge wont ko zapdos if its scarfed and zapdos can pressure stall it. CB completely outcalasses it and is a necessity when using flygon.

Hilarity, Zapdos doesn't rape my team and I would know as there are a good few who like to use it.

Curse-Pert is RARE, but I see your point. The best I can do to counter this would be putting Roar on the Mixpert I'll be using, but SR tends to be more valuable for the entire opponents team rather than ONE pokemon who uses a specific set.

I don't need to use CB-Flygon. A pokemon who can completely destroy my team is Scarf-Heatran late game especially if Swampert or Kingdra are out of the picture. Flygon has many resistances to come in on and can revenge kill many weakened pokemon, LO users, and others.

I'm not using Stone Edge on Flygon. Draco Meteor is more valuable.

I can guarantee that Scarf-gon is a force that can completely destroy people who can't out-predict it or the ones like you who think it suck and that nobody would dare run it, then have their sweeper picked off.

EDIT: Flygon and Kingdra are up and so is Mixpert.
