AN: Alright so before I state my pokemon team, I'd like to say a few things first. I'm new to competitive Pokemon, as I've only really just beat the games and that was it; going about it by just capturing as many Pokemon as I can. That in mind, I don't know many terms, and I haven't actually made this team, its only theory. As this is my first competitive team, I would like to know what attacks I should change, what items I should put, or if I should switch some Pokemon for different ones; if so which natures and what attacks?

Staraptor @ (Not sure)
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 255 Spd/ 255 Atk
Nature: Adamant
- Aerial Ace
- Brave Bird
- Close Combat
- Not sure

Staraptor is meant to be my fast attack sweeper (Is that even right?). I was hoping to use it to take out Pokemon quickly. :/

Blissey @ (Not sure)
Ability: (NS)
EVs: 255 Hp/ 255 def
Nature: Bold
- Healing Wish
- Egg Bomb
- Softboiled
- N.S.

Blissey was meant to be one of my tanks, a normal tank, and to heal my other pokemon (?) I'm not familiar with the rules so if that's not allowed, then I dunno.

Bronzong @ (Not sure)
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 255 Hp/ 255 SpeD
Nature: Sassy
- Iron Defense
- Gyro Ball
- Heal Block
- Confuse Ray

Bronzong was meant to be my special defense, and to hopefully also manage to deal some damage from time to time while taking hits.

Vaporean @ (Not sure)
Ability: Water absorb
EVs: 255 SpAtk/ 255 Spd
Nature: Modest
- Hydro Pump
- Sand-Attack
- Aurora Beam
- N.S

My fast special sweeper. Not sure what else I could use Vaporean for, but yeah.

Magnezone @ (Not sure)
Ability: Magnet Pull
EVs: 255 SpAtk/255 Atk
Nature: Quiet
- Magnet Rise
- Metal Sound
- Zap Cannon
- Gyroball

Meant to be my mid-tank, as well as a sweeper. Steel gives it resistance to quiet a bit, and magnet rise can help it evade ground moves for more resistance.

Gengar @ (Not sure)
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 255 SpAtk/ N.S
Nature: Modest
- Confuse Ray
- Hypnosis
- Night shade
- Nightmare

Gengar was meant to be my special sweeper, and whatever else.

So yeah, that's my team in theory. If there are other pokemon that could be more useful to my team, then please let me know. :)

Thank you.

3. Have some actual words in your post beyond your six Pokemon and their moves. Not following this makes your post quite boring to read and rate. All Pokemon should have a good reason for being in your team anyway, so why not post that reason? If you are having trouble with this one, start by giving an explanation for each team member. Why are they there? What role do they serve? How do you get them in? Then, give an explanation of how you would open with the team and how you would go about using it. All of these things help people rate your team and allow us to offer more helpful advice.

This does not mean add one sentence saying "Standard x" or "all-around awesome" after each Pokemon. If you put thought into making the team, you can put thought into posting it.

2. Do not post incomplete teams. If you are smart enough to pick five Pokemon, you can easily pick another one. If you are smart enough to pick nine, you can easily cut that down to six. Make sure to include natures, EV spreads and items.

15. As a site dedicated to competitive battling, we request that your team is as competitive as possible within its given metagame.

I'd suggest you lurk more, read the on-site articles/analysis and consider enrolling in the Tutor Programme in the Battling 101 forum.
