Hello people, this is my first RMT here in this community. I would like to begin by apologizing for my English, I'm not native, so some things may be wrong.
When ORAS came out in the market, I already know who will be my initial Pokémon, because since Ruby my favorite Pokémon is Swampert, and now with a Mega evolution I had to build a competitive team using this Pokémon!!!!
So I started... And I build a team that is showing a good efficiency... But I know that some things are not working, and I will really appreciate if you guys could help me. So if you want to change some pokémon, no problems, the only Poké that I want to stay in my team is Mega-Swampert.

Item:
Ability: Drizzle
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Nature: Bold
- Perish Song
- Toxic
- Scald
- Protect
This Politoed is more defensive and is our Rain summoner, Perish song force a trade, and Toxic combined w/ Protect and the leftovers can be very annoying. Scald is here for STAB.
Item:
Ability: Swift Swim
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Atk / 8 SpD
Nature: Adamant
- Waterfall
- Rain Dance
- Earthquake
- Ice Punch
Now, the star of my team! I now, Mega Swampert is not the most powerfull mega evolution, but...Look at him! He is AMAZING! The movepool explains by itself... W/ it's mega ability it can outspeed some threats to a commom Swampert, so taking advantage of your powerfull Atk and the boost given by the rain, waterfall is a certain choose, also being his STAB move. Rain Dance helps to keep the rain. Earthquake is a STAB move too. And Ice punch helps to kill some grass types if you predict a trade.
Item:
Ability: Swift Swim
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Nature: Modest
- Hydro Pump
- Rain Dance
- Ice Beam
- Giga Drain
The dancing coconut tree... When you face something like this you don't think that you will have problems.... BUT YOU WILL!! W/ the correct EV's, a Life Orb and raining... One Hydro Pump is a OHKO. Also he is a Swift Swimer, so it outspeed a lot of pokés. Hydro Pump and Giga Drain are his STAB moves, Rain Dance summons our rain and Ice Beam eliminates the grass and dragons.
Item:
Ability: Iron Barbs
EVs: 248 HP / 8 Atk / 252 Def
Nature: Impish
- Power Whip
- Gyro Ball
- Stealth Rock
- Leech Seed
Our hazard setter. Ferrothorn works very well in Rain teams, because his most powerfull weakness (fire moves) are weakened during the rain, so leaving him alone to mine the adversary field. Power Whip and Gyro Ball are his STAB moves, Stealth Rock as our hazzard and leech seed to extend the Ferrothorn's duration in field. The item cobined w/ the ability is a good choice, even more if you predict a incoming physical move.
Item:
Ability: Dry Skin
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpD
Nature: Adamant
- Swords Dance
- Sucker Punch
- Poison Jab
- Drain Punch
This Toxicroak works very well in Rain teams, his ability Dry Skin, plus the item Black Sludge gives him the time that it needs to use a Sword Dance. Sucker Punch is a good move to predict an atack, Poison Jab is his STAB move and Drain Punch recover his lost HP and is a STAB move.
Item:
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 248 HP / 252 SpA / 8 SpD
Nature: Timid
- Recover
- Thunder
- Psychic
- Rain Dance
I confess that I know that this Latios is not a good competitive one... But i will explain why it is in my team... I was in need of a Poké that could take care of fighting types, like Conkeldurr, so I choose this poké, because w/ Psychic as his STAB move it could take care of this problems, than Recover is to make him more durable, Thunder has a great power and an acc of 100% in rain. Rain Dance and the item gives a long duration Rain for the team.
Well.... This is my team... I know that it is far away from beeing a good team, but I wait that w/ a little help from my friends (Beatles feelings hahaha) we can make it a incredible team! Thank you for patience. =D
