RMT : The Carnival V2 (OU)

Hello. This is the 2nd version of my competitive battling team, The Carnival. I hope you can offer some advice and although it would be sad to see some Pokemon go, I am open to replacing them or switching them around in my party.

Spiritomb @ Leftovers (Female)
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 152 Sp.Def/100 Def/252 HP
Calm Nature
- Rest
- Sleep Talk
- W-O-W
- Shadow Ball/Sucker Punch

My Lead and Anti-Spin. Sleep Talk to soak up Hypnosis from Gengar and Bronzong, whilst it can be used to attack them with Shadow Ball or Sucker Punch, not sure which to use. Rest to heal HP, not sure if Pain Split would be better or not. W-O-W to stop those physical sweepers even further, most notably Garchomp, that's if he stays in OU, which I hope he doesn't.

Azelf @ Life Orb (Genderless)
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 36 Atk/220 Spd/252 SAtk
Naive Nature
- U-Turn
- Psychic/Thunderbolt
- Flamethrower
- Explosion

Main Special Attacker. U-Turn to hit Cresselia, Celebi and to scout, Psychic for decent damage or Thunderbolt for Gyarados and Vaporeon. Flamethrower for Tangrowth and Forretress or Explosion to go out with a bang.

Salamence @ Choice Band (Female)
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 6 HP/252 Spd/252 Atk
Adamant Nature
- Dragon Claw
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge
- Brick Break

My Main Physical Attacker. Dragon Claw for Dragons, EQ for good coverage, Stone Edge for Gyarados and Zapdos and other Flying types and finally Brick Break to tackle Heatran, Weavile and an alternative method of tackling with Steels.

Tentacruel @ Toxic Sludge (Male)
Ability: Liquid Ooze
EVs: 204 HP/172 Sp.Def/36 Spd/96 Sp.Atk
Calm Nature
- Surf
- Ice Beam
- Toxic Spikes
- Rapid Spin

My Spiker and Spinner and a Pokemon that can also be used to soak up opposing TS. Toxic Spikes and Rapid Spin are self explanatory and then Surf and Ice Beam to get rid of Tyranitar and Dugtrio respectively.

Registeel @ Leftovers (Genderless)
Ability: Clear Body
EVs: 252 HP/200 Def/56 Sp.Def
Careful Nature
- Earthquake
- Ice Punch
- Thunder
- Stealth Rock

Physical Wall. EQ for coverage, Ice Punch for the ever popular Dragons, Thunder as a stronger option to get rid of waters (mainly Gyarados) and Stealth Rock to help out the team.

Blissey @ Leftovers (Female)
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 Def/216 Sp.Def/40 HP
Calm Nature
- Seismic Toss
- Thunder Wave
- Softboiled
- Aromatherapy

Special Wall and Cleric, obviously. Seismic Toss for reliable damage. T-Wave to cripple, Softbolied to regain HP and Aromatherapy to be a nice help to the team.

Thanks for reading, and I would appreciate some help. :)

Hmm, that's the exact same Spiritomb I use, XD
Shadow Ball is a better option, since Sucker Punch gets weakened by Timid, doesn't get first priority because of Sleep Talk, and lacks PP. Keep Rest. Most people expect Pain Split, so they'll feel pretty dumb when you Rest off the stuff they throw at you. Plus allows Spirit to become a status absorber.

Replace Sludge Bomb on Tentacruel with HP Electric, or Ice Beam. Sludge Bomb has poor coverage, while HP Ele and IB get big hits on Gyarados and Dragons.

With offensive stats like Registeel, I doubt Thunder with its poor accuracy will help you defeat Milotic or Suicune. Thunderwave is better if you want reliable paralysis. You also have Blissey for this, but she needs Ice Beam for dragons, and Gengar.

Eh, two of your walls lack any recovery other than Leftovers, so a wish-passer would be a good idea.

Put longer descriptions in your RMT next time. Pictures might also be nice. No one will rate if it looks boring. (I'm a bit surprised I did)

Well, thanks for taking the time to rate Faint and Kid Icarus. A Wish passer would be nice, yet I really am not sure who to sacrifice, I don't mind Blissey going tbh, but yeah I'm willing to give up any really. I'll also keep Shadow Ball on Spiritomb.

And for Registeel, Thunder is a good option for coverage incase Azelf has exploded and say a Gyarados is still about, and with Blissey having TWave, and with T Spikes around, anothet T Wave user isn't really necessary. Thanks for the advice.

This is also a Wi-fi team, so I cannot get the HP for Tentacruel really. Ice Beam would probably be better for Dragons, yet I was told it would do less to Celebi than Sludge Bomb, yet I have other ways of tackling that and Dragons are a bigger priority to me. :D

Please keep it coming, I do really need the help, and although it's slightly boring, please help. :) Thanks.

The Forsworn's Tentacruel has HP Ele. Since it's a redistributable it shouldn't be too hard to get :)

Your Salamence is outclassed by Garchomp. The only reasons I see for using salamence insted is intimidate and immunity to EQ. (Or if you just really like physical salamence.) i'd recommend replacing brick break with flamethrower so skarmory and other steels don't wall you. (Most weak to brick break take more damage from EQ, especially Heatran.) I'd recommend either another set or sweeper altogether though. Vaporeon would probably work well with this team thanks to its solid defensive stats, Ice Beam and wish. Oh, and if you see a weavile, run!

Thanks again for all advice. I will try and get Forsworn's Tentacruel as soon as.

Vaporeon could be a good defensive wall for me, yet that would mean losing Stealth Rock. I'll have to have a think I suppose.

I'd apprecaite anymore feedback people could give me. Thanks.

Looks pretty good, but its very easy for a pokemon with taunt/sub to setup on this lead, because I have done it myself several times

Azelf @ Life Orb (Genderless)
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 36 Atk/220 Spd/252 SAtk
Naive Nature
- U-Turn
- Psychic/Thunderbolt
- Flamethrower

Main Special Attacker. U-Turn to hit Cresselia, Celebi and to scout, Psychic for decent damage or Thunderbolt for Gyarados and Vaporeon. Flamethrower for Tangrowth and Forretress or Explosion to go out with a bang.

Im not so sure about this set, theres no way you are going to tackle on most of those threats unless you predict switching in, i would go with a DDmence, with a huge SR weakness being locked on one attack isnt going to end very well

Tentacruel @ Toxic Sludge (Male)
Ability: Liquid Ooze
EVs: 204 HP/172 Sp.Def/36 Spd/96 Sp.Atk
Calm Nature
- Surf
- Ice Beam
- Toxic Spikes

Not so sure about this, a physical wall with a weakness to fighting isnt that great in my opinon, I would go with a gliscor as it stops the ever so popular SD lucario

Blissey @ Leftovers (Female)
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 Def/216 Sp.Def/40 HP
Calm Nature
- Seismic Toss
- Thunder Wave
- Softboiled
- Aromatherapy

Special Wall and Cleric, obviously. Seismic Toss for reliable damage. T-Wave to cripple, Softbolied to regain HP and Aromatherapy to be a nice help to the team.

Not much I can say, I hate blissey :P

Yeah so this was my first time rating a team on here, If I gave crappy suggestions im sorry >_>

Thanks for reading, and I would appreciate some help. :)
