VGC RMT?

Umm, hello? Would someone please rate my team? I'll be glad if someone is willing to. Er - before I start though, I want to tell you that I'm bad at making a team and I just tried VGC a few days ago. I obviously don't know the 'threat list' other than T-tar, Garchomp, Gardevoir, Talonflame, Mega Mawile, Mega Kanga, and Mega Gengar. I might probably overlook a common threat. So please I would love if someone point them out for me.

I think that's all? Anyway...

My team:

9192170_orig.gif
Mienshao (F) @ Life Orb
Ability: Regenerator
Level: 50
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- High Jump Kick
- Fake Out
- Wide Guard
- Feint

The star of my team, literally. I most of the time used Mienshao as a lead. I used U-Turn instead of Feint earlier, but after seeing how Shao was easily out-sped by several Scarfer and also how Protect and the like hinder my team, I change U-Turn into Feint. Also, sometimes Feint can damage some Pokemon when she was on verge of defeat. Fake Out is to help her teammate sweep, and sometimes to stop Pokemon from attacking. Wide Guard to stop stop spreading moves. Sometimes it can also be used to protect herself from Garchomp's EQ and Manectric's Discharge. HJK can take down T-tar, Mega Kanga, or sometimes frail sweeper.

I run Regenerator because I need some HP recovery. Reckless might be better in term of damage, but I need something to heal damage after HJK miss or Life Orb's recoil.

Check:
- Mega Kanga: She can stop Mega Kanga Fake Out by using Fake Out. The only move Mega Kanga can use to OHKO her is Return, but she can outspeed the mama and used HJK to take it down. She can also take Mega Kanga's Sucker Punch 'manly'.
- Tyranitar: She can resist both Rock Slide and Crunch, making her the best switch whenever Tyranitar appears. Though, I've not seen someone choosing T-tar against me. Sadly.

Threat:
- Ghost Type: Without any Moves to hit Ghost type, she is a dead-weight when faced with Mega Gengar. A sudden Ghost switch when Shao is using HJK is fatal.
- Scarfer: Some unexpected Scarfer can cruelly punish her even before she can move.
- Talonflame: Priority Brave Bird can easily took it down.
- Raichu and/or Liepard: Their Fake Out is faster.

Synergy:
- Flying (mainly Brave Bird): Manectric or Gyarados
- Psychic: Gardevoir
- Fairy: Talonflame

Talonflame (F) @ Sky Plate
Ability: Gale Wings
Level: 50
EVs: 52 HP / 252 Atk / 204 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Brave Bird
- Flare Blitz
- Quick Guard
- Taunt

Another lead. And well... Choice Band or Sky Plate? I don't know. I definitely don't want her to stuck with Brave Bird.

Taunt shockingly worked against Aegislash! After a Taunt, Aegislash can't use its well-known King's Shield, making it defenseless for several turns. Also, Smeargle wouldn't be able to use Dark Void after a Taunt. I use Quick Guard to counter some Priority Moves like Azumarill's Aqua Jet or Talonflame's Brave Bird. Hopefully, while she is Quick Guarding, someone will take down a dangerous threat for her.

Brave Bird is mainly to take some frail sweeper. Or, it can make a big dent on many Pokemon. Flare Blitz can take down Scizor, Lucario, or Ferrothorn. I put some HP EVs to let her live longer, or even save her from a Rock Slide.

Check:
- Frail Sweeper: She can OHKO some. Even a Mega Lucario will be burn to crisp after a Flare Blitz!
- Azumarill: Its Aqua Jet can be stopped with Quick Guard. If it Belly Drums, she can take it down with a Brave Bird or two.
- Mega Gengar: Surprisingly, she can take it down with Brave Bird. Or at least, make a big dent on it.
- Smeargle: She is faster, and she has Taunt.

Threat:
- Anyone who knows Rock-type move: A single Rock Slide will most likely take her down. With or without Intimidate to 'protect' her.
- Another Talonflame: She definitely won't love another Talonflame. One wrong prediction and it's all over.
- Fake Out: She need to keep moving, or else she will fall. A Fake Out when she is going to use either Brave Bird or Taunt won't be nice.

Synergy:
- Rock: Garchomp, Mienshao
- Water: Gyarados
- Electric: Garchomp, Manectric

Gardevoir (M) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Trace
Level: 50
EVs: 24 Def / 232 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Dazzling Gleam
- Psyshock
- Shadow Ball
- Thunderbolt

His job is to put some dents on his enemies. His Dazzling Gleam can do around 30-50% damage on normal effectiveness. I choose Dazzling Gleam because it can hit both target, unlike the stronger Moonblast. A Fake Out can help him 2HKO most lead. He can out-speed some fast Pokemon and sometimes punish a Mega Gengar with Psyshock. Shadow Ball is for Aegislash, while Thunderbolt can work for many Pokemon. Or sometimes boosting Manectric Special Attack. EVs spread so he can live a bit longer.

Check:
- Mega Gengar: He can unexpectedly defeat or put a very big dent on Mega Gengar.

Threat:
- Talonflame: One Brave Bird and it's over.
- Rotom-Heat: Heat can easily absorb all of his attack.
- Mega Mawile: Being a Steel type, the only move Gardevoir can use is Shadow Ball or Thunderbolt, both didn't do much damage to the Mega while it can easily took him down with Sucker Punch or Iron Head
- Aegislash: Its typing has already told us that Aegis can easily take him down.

Synergy:
- Poison: Garchomp
- Steel: Gyarados
- Ghost: N/A

310_mega.gif
Manectric (F) @ Manectite
Ability: Lightningrod
Level: 50
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Discharge
- Volt Switch
- Snarl
- Protect

She is one of the Intimidator I use. Her Lightningrod is sometimes a free switch for me, especially when someone is aiming a Thunderbolt at Gyarados. Although unlike with Gyarados, she works better with Garchomp! Discharge won't work at Garchomp, and Garchomp can use Rock Slide, hopefully Para-Flinching them.

Basically, her Snarl works to lower Sp. Attack, which works like Intimidate. It's perfect since her Mega Ability is Intimidate, which can easily lower Attack and Sp. Attack by one stage at the first turn.

Check:
- Azumarill: She can take her down (hopefully) with a Volt Switch, and then she can switch out for Talonflame if Azumarill is going for Belly Drum or Gyarados if it's going for straight Waterfall.
- Gyarados: She can take it down easily with Volt Switch.
- Zapdos (and any other Electric-type): She can help Gyarados, or other...obviously with Lightningrod.

Threat:
- Manectric (and anyone with Volt Absorb, Lightningrod, or Motor Drive): Well, surprisingly, her ability is her weakness. A good switch in will mess her Volt Switch or even Discharge.
- Ground: Obviously. It's exactly like Volt Absorb, Lightningrod, or Motor Drive. But, what make it even worse is EQ. Even after a good Intimidate, she is still a sitting-duck.

Synergy:
- Ground: Talonflame or Gyarados

garchomp.gif
Garchomp (F) @ Focus Sash
Ability: Rough Skin
Level: 50
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Earthquake
- Rock Slide
- Dragon Claw
- Protect

I don't know what is better between Sand Veil and Rough Skin. But seeing that T-tar never appear (because of Mienshao and Gardevoir, probably), I think Rough Skin is better. She is, like Gardevoir, a sweeper. While Gardevoir is specialized in Special and early sweeping, Garchomp is specialized in Attack and late sweeping. Earthquake can easily break a Mega Mawile or Aegislash. Rock Slide can break a Mega Charizard Y, Talonflame, and sometimes Rotom-Heat. Dragon Claw is to take down her own species, or some other dragon. Also, Dragon Claw is a good choice when I need more accuracy.

Check:
- Mega Mawile: She definitely out-speed Mega Mawile, and she can take it down with an EQ.
- Talonflame: Surprisingly, she can break a Talonflame, thanks to her Rough Skin.
- Mega Kanga: Thanks to mama's Parental Bond, Garchomp can damage it twice with Rough Skin. Also, she can live a all mama's non-critical return.

Threat:
- Mamoswine: It can take her down with a simple Ice Shard.
- Fairy: She found great difficulty taking them down. Only through good prediction can she take them down.
- Dragon: A Draco Meteor right on her face won't be nice. At all. Even with Sash.

Synergy:
- Ice: N/A
- Dragon: Gardevoir
- Fairy: Talonflame

gyarados.gif
Gyarados (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Intimidate
Level: 50
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Def
Impish Nature
- Waterfall
- Stone Edge
- Earthquake
- Protect

I rarely use him, since mostly Intimidate is done by Manectric. However, sometimes I used both for Intimidate purpose. Double Intimidate can sometimes save my team. But, since their spread moves could take down each other easily, they aren't really a good pair. Thanks to Protect, they can easily fool my enemy though. Also, Gyarados being somewhat bulky defensively mean that I can protect Mienshao and sometimes Talonflame. Even Gardevoir! Stone Edge is actually to take down a fooled Zapdos. Waterfall can take down Talonflame or even Mamoswine. Earthquake can take down Mega Mawile or Aegislash.

I'm still choosing whether to use Leftovers or Gyaradosite. It's probably better to only have one Mega, but...Mega Gyarados can hit hard. I also wondering about his nature and EVs spread.

Check:
- Physical Sweeper: Surprisingly, he's a good tank on his own way. He can tank even a Mega Mawile or Mega Kanga.

Threat:
- Electric: Simple enough. A Thunderbolt right on his face won't be nice.

Synergy (Normal):
- Electric: Garchomp or Manectric
- Rock: Mienshao or Garchomp

Overview

I think this team need a lot of prediction. I tried playing this team while watching TV, and boy it was a free fall from 1350 to 1250. However, if I can predict nicely, I can dominate the 'battlefield'. Also, Trick Room seemed to destroy this team. The only priority attack that will probably save me will be Brave Bird and Feint (or possibly Fake Out), which is not reliable on their own.

Umm.. Anyway. If possible, I don't want to change my team. But, I think Garchomp and Gyarados are changeable. Manectric too...probably? But I will only change her for another Mega. Mienshao, Gardevoir, and Talonflame are not changeable. I would love to have them in my team. I might change Gardevoir if someone can provide me a good sub for him.

Umm... Since all them can match each other perfectly, I never have a certain 'formation'. However, I mostly use Mienshao, Talonflame, and Gardevoir to lead, mainly because they can defeat most Pokemon quickly.

And....Ummm... To make things easier, I'll share the importable.

Don't really have time for a full rate right now but you said that you don't really uuse Gyarados alot. If there is a Poke on your team that isn't pulling its weight than you should probably replace it because you want all 6 of you Pokemon to have use on you team or else that spot is essencially wasted.
