ORAS OU RMT

Hello poke fans my name is TCD aka TheCandyDemon70 and i came to post my team to be rated. I tried it out and i have came up close to the 1500.

The first pokemon to be introduced is mega manetric. I honestly felt like using this guy because he has a whooping 135 Spe. and SpA. when he mega evolves. His electric typing only makes him weak to ground and he has a amazing move pool which can consist of stab moves to having both overheat and HP ice. This means he can take out common threats like scizor, ferrothorn, lando (only if it switches in on a hp ice) talonflame, azu, etc. Talon and azu though can be taken out by manetric but since manetric is very frail, it is better to use him as a revenge killer. Lastly I use the standard set of max SpA. and Spe. with a 4 points in Def. and timid nature to out speed anything that is 80 scarf speed

Manectric @ Manectite
Ability: Lightning Rod
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Volt Switch
- Thunderbolt
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Overheat

Next up is lando, I choose this guy because he can dodge those ground moves that threatens manetric. The set i had a hard time choosing because both his defensive set and scarf are good. When i made the decision i choose the defensive rocky helmet set. The reason I choose this set is due to the fact that i wanted rocks, i wanted to be able to damage talonflame along with having a actual counter to it since manetric is very frail, i wanted any lando to take damage so i could either revenge kill it or to kill it on a switch in or double, damage any offensive pokemon that my sweepers can take out in folowing turns, and to gain momentum with U-turn on slower pokemon than defensive lando or defensive lando itself.

Landorus-Therian @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Intimidate
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SpD
Impish Nature
- Stealth Rock
- U-turn
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge

Next is latios, I choose this pokemon because i like to have defog on my team. He also is there to check venasuar and keldeo which can pose a threat to my team. Lastly is main job is to either revenge kill or do as much damage as possible for other pokemon to revenge kill.

Latios @ Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 4 Atk / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Hasty Nature
- Psyshock
- Draco Meteor
- Defog
- Roost

Next is bisharp, as seen so far on my team the lati twins, along with alakazam, and fairy type pokemon are a real problem for my team. This is where choosing bishard comes in, this man can can pursuit trap any of those pokemon or sucker punch them in the face along with destroying the lives of fairy types with iron head. What makes this possible is his assault vest set that i choose, bishard can take a draco easily from a latios or latias and can revenge kill a mega Diancie. Bishard has to be at full health or above 80% i believe to take a earth power.

Bisharp @ Assault Vest
Ability: Defiant
EVs: 192 HP / 220 Atk / 96 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Knock Off
- Sucker Punch
- Iron Head
- Pursuit

My next pokemon that i chose is scarf keldeo. My team has a problem with water types which in terms made me decide to chose keldeo. Keldeo is also there to take on heatran since i really dont have anything to take it out baring manetric doing decent damage to it. He also can stops Choice banded azu from coming in and getting a kill on my team. Keldeo can outspeed anything that is below 345 speed with a scarf aka landos, darmans, kyurem etc. Lastly keldeo is there to kill itself on the otherside since i dont really have a good keldeo counter.

Keldeo-Resolute @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Justified
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Scald
- Hydro Pump
- Hidden Power [Electric]
- Secret Sword

For my final pokemon, I choose unaware clefable. My team has a really tough time dealing with set up pokemon like azu, charizard, Volcarona, etc. Clef is there to force the setting up pokemon out or to set up on them to get a kill or sweep.

Clefable @ Leftovers
Ability: Unaware
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 248 HP / 172 Def / 88 SpD
Bold Nature
- Protect
- Moonblast
- Calm Mind
- Moonlight

Threats to this team that i have found are keldeo, venasuar, alakazam, gengar and rotom wash.

Hey man, nice team you have there. I really liked how you paired Mega Manectric with Landorus-T, as Manectric does struggle with Pokemon such as Sand Rush Excadrill and Charizard X. Latios was a nice idea as well for a Water resist and hazards remover. Scarf Keldeo was impressive on your end as it does get give you a Lopunny check. However, there are a few things I'm not in love with. Let's start off with the threats.

Threats to this team that i have found are keldeo, venasuar, alakazam, gengar and rotom wash.

Keldeo, Venusaur, and Rotom-W are all handled by Latios, and Gengar is checked by Mega Manectric and Scarf Keldeo. The only threat on there in my opinion is
Alakazam. What's threatening about Mega Alakazam/Alakazam is that not only does it outspeed your entire team bar Scarf Keldeo, but thanks to its Ghost+Fighting coverage moves, there's really not a safe switch in either. Mega Manectric, Landorus-T, Clefable, and Keldeo are atmost 2HKOed by Mega/Life Orb Zam after Stealth Rocks and Latios isn't appreciating a Shadow Ball. The only way for you to beat Alakazam, is to weaken it to the point where Keldeo's Hydro Pump knocks it out, or you successfully pull off a Sucker Punch with Bisharp. However, you cannot escape the fact that Alakazam do tend to carry moves such as Protect, Substitute, and Encore. This forces your Bisharp to be involved in multiple 50-50s throughout the match, and if you don't make the right volition, it's over. Fairy Type Pokemon are also huge threats to the team as well due to the lack of well... Fairy Resists. Pokemon like Mega Gardevoir and Azumarill aren't impossible to take out due to the fast Pokemon and priority you have on your team, but you're going to have to sack a couple of Pokemon prior in order to beat them, which can be detrimental in the long run. You talked about Fairy types in your Bisharp description, but Gardevoir does outspeed Bisharp and will knock it out with a Focus Blast, regardless of whether it has an AV or not. Last issue I have with this team is that there's really no way you can deal with stall or just bulkier teams in general. You do have CM Clefable with Unaware to ignore stats like Manaphy's Tail Glow or Thundurus I's Nasty Plot, but on bulkier teams, you're going to be going up against stuff like Clear Smog Amoonguss which just outright walls Clefable.

My first suggestion will be Choice Scarf Jirachi>Bisharp. Choice Scarf Jirachi gives you an answer for Alakazam and Gardevoir since it threatens them out with Iron Head and has access to U-Turn to gain momentum throughout the course of a battle. In addition, the Choice Scarf allows it to outspeed Mega Altaria at +1 and threaten it with Iron Head, so you don't get swept. I know you have Unaware Clefable for Altaria at the moment, but I'll talk about Clefable later. I chose to run Trick instead of Healing Wish because I'm worried about your matchup vs stall, and giving a defensively oriented Pokemon a Choice Scarf gives you a shot at breaking your opponent's team.

Next, Unaware Clefable simply just doesn't fit offense. It's a huge momentum sapper that gets worn down pretty easily from hazards. In addition, you also have to take the negligible 8 PP(Moonlight) into consideration, which is why I'd take out. Furthermore, after the Jirachi change(and the Clefable delete), the Lati twins have the ability to just spam Draco Meteor due to the fact that your Dragon resist, Jirachi, has no recovery and takes 40-47.5% from a Latios's Draco Meteor. In addition, you don't really have counterplay to it. Keldeo lacks Icy Wind, which I wouldn't replace because of the Gyarados weakness, Manectric's Hidden Power Ice isn't doing too much, especially to Latias, and Landorus-T's U-Turn isn't doing too much damage due to the fact that it's a defensive set. This is why I'm suggesting Choice Banded Tyranitar>Clefable. Tyranitar is a great way of dealing with Lati twins with its access to Pursuit. Furthermore, I feel like Trick Scarf Jirachi isn't enough to break defensive builds, and CB Tyranitar can break them when you really think about it. With 156 Speed and no positive speed nature, you outspeed Mandibuzz and Skarmory, allowing Tyranitar to OHKO/2HKO both Pokemon with Stone Edge after Stealth Rocks, no matter how Physically bulky they are. Amoonguss is 2HKOed by Crunch, Chansey and Sableye are 2HKOed by Stone Edge, and Tyranitar has a chance of 2HKOing Hippowdon with Ice Punch.

Lastly, the little changes, as some of the sets are a bit off. Timid>Hasty Nature on Latios because using a -Def nature without using a mixed set is pretty futile. I'd also change Landorus-T's spread to 252 HP / 240 Def / 8 SpD / 8 Spe. 8 SpD lets you live Manectric's HP Ice and 8 Speed EVs lets you outspeed Rotom-Wash.

Other Options: CB Tyranitar is one of the few ways for you to break defensive builds, so if it gets statused, then you have a problem. I know I put Trick over Healing Wish on Jirachi, but Healing Wish might work too so if Tyranitar gets statused, you can "bring it back".

i wholly agree with BreloomMyHomie suggestions, but you can run a more optimized spread for landorus, being 248 HP / 224 Def / 28 SpD / 8 Spe. this lets you always eat a lati draco from full. enjoy!

ill try that, ive been tryn out the team and i really like it, i changed keldeo to specs since i have a jirachi. since i did that i now am really weak to drill, i was wondering if i should change it back to scarf and have 2 scarfers?
