RMT -

Well this is my new team that I have been experimenting with and it seems good but could do with a few alterations. Constructive criticism is welcome and any alterations would be appreciated. (In 10 matches i have won 8 and lost 2)

Team at a glance: Gengar, Hippowdon, Infernape, Salamance, Heracross, Blissey

Hippowdon

Impish

252 HP/252 Defence/6 Speed

Leftovers

Ice Fang
Roar
Slack Off
Earthquake

In my opinion the best physical wall in the game as it can take hits and Ice Fang or Earthquake or simply roar them away. This is used for mid to late game to either finish up or Sandstorm and deal slow damage. I was thinking of Stealth Rock instead of Roar, is that a good or bad idea? (I would then use it at the beginning and swap Salamance for Tyranitar

Infernape

Jolly

252 Attack/252 Speed/6 HP

Life Orb

Thunder Punch
Close Combat
Flare Blitz
Swords Dance

This is a powerful physical sweeper to deal with Blissey and Snorlax with a swords dance and then either a close combat or flare blitz. Thunder punch is there to help with its weaknesses to water and flying.

Salamance

Serious

252 Special Attack/252 Speed/6 HP

Leftovers

Dragon Pulse
Earthquake
Hydro Pump
Flamethrower

Salamance is being used as a special sweeper to surprise the opponent and then have earthquake in there if the opponent switches in a Blissey or Snorlax. It can deal with Skarmory with a flamethrower.

Gengar

Timid

252 Special Attack/252 Speed/6 HP

Life Orb

Hypnosis
Ice Beam
Thunderbolt
Shadow Ball

This is my opener for a match, I usually put them to sleep and then either hack away or switch to Infernape or Heracross. BoltBeam combo is pretty self-explanatory and shadow ball for extra type coverage and the chance of lowering special defence.

Blissey

Bold

252 HP/252 Defence/6 Special Defence

Leftovers

Soft-boiled
Ice Beam
Thunder Wave
Psychic

The best special wall ever! Psychic is there for pesky fighting types that try and OHKO or 2HKO. Thunder wave to slow down the opponent and ice beam for more coverage. Soft-boiled is a must.

Heracross

Adamant

252 Attack/252 Speed/6 HP

Choice Band

Megahorn
Close Combat
Stone Edge
Pursuit

Well, what can you say about Heracross? When it’s holding choice band, has below 1/3 rd HP and has a status mega horn can KO almost everything in competitive play. Stone Edge to get at annoyed flying types and pursuit for switchers.

Strengths – I think this team has a good coverage in terms of types of moves and types of Pokemon. I can take on almost any Pokemon with one of these.

Weaknesses – I can’t really see a weakness except maybe if I got set up on stealth rock of spikes, although I probably am missing something.

So, RMT!

Ill probably rate more in-depth later, but right off the bat, I see sandstorm as a major hamper on your team. Hurts everyone, and only suppresses the ability of Gengar and Infernape to sweep. Maybe Expert Belt over Life Orb so that the recoil damage doesn't hurt you too much.

To be very clear:

That font burns in my eyes, i can't read it well ^^
Here you can find pictures from your poke's

I can see a weakness, DDNite after a few boosts... It outruns all your poke's, and only Hippowdon would survive him for a short time.

Hippowdon is a good poke, but you are going to kill your own team with Sandstorm.... Only Hippowdon isn't affected and is not even get a boost out of it!!! If u want a Psychical wall starter, than take Gliscor, Ice Fang / EQ / Roost / Filler!!!

I don't think Gengar gets Ice Beam. Why else would we put HP [Ice] on him? And, your team has a Sand Stream, and no resists. That wikll hurt. You have no Physical walling, just Blissey, who rolls over and dies from one Close Combat, etc. Put in a Fortress, Skarm, etc.

im new here, but i would put specs on mence, Stoss on bliss instead of psychic and psychic on gengar instead of beam
