First of all, I want to thank the Vaporeons for being such good sports. While we got very lucky in a few games we saw no animosity at all from them. I can empathize with your position, practicing all week, playing some games better and losing to sheer luck. I've been on your side many times. With that said, this is my first time in a team tour being on the receiving end, and for that I'm very grateful.
It was not the easiest run for us, we did battle through hax all season. Poor Sheik probably lost 4 series through hax alone and managed to play a masterpiece game in the finals and helped out our ADV all season as well.
I am incredibly proud of my team. The fact that the only time any toxicity has come from the team all season is in deciding a pokemon for the custom avatar shows a lot of their character. There were certainly games we could have played better, but there was never any negativity, larping, or putting down one another.
Almost every single member of our team played an integral part in this tour. They worked together with scouts, tests, positive encouragement, and most importantly, stickers and gifs.
While I could not get to everyone, there are some people I want to give special shout outs to:
Alice Kazumi you were always available for test games, scouts, whatever the team needed. You were the engine of our team.
NoName6293 you carried us all season. winning the first game in the last few weeks really helped us build momentum when we desperately needed it after such a slow start.
earl gr3y as soon as we started you, our luck turned around big time, you went from not playing much ADV the last few months to getting some very clutch wins for our team
Sheik : i've mentioned this above, but you got haxed all season and still kept a very positive attitude, helping out ADV with teams and then clutching up in the finals
Iguana i've never met anyone quite like you iguana, you exude positivity. it's a very special thing. you always manage to look at everything with the glass half full. it's such an admirable trait. thank you for being you, never change.
a fairy I'm so glad we got to team together!
Texas Cloverleaf always providing input, being available to sub when necessary, very clutch sub victory early in the season. nice to finally be on a team after so many years.
