[OVERVIEW]

Rotom H's unique Electric / Fire typing and ability to pivot and check threats such as Scizor, Mega Pidgeot, and Moltres give it a solid niche in the UU metagame. It has the options to run a Choice Scarf set outspeeding the entire unboosted meta, or as an attacker with Firium Z, muscling past threats that live an Overheat such as Hippowdon and Stakataka. Levitate allows it to avoid one of the most crippling weaknesses of its typing, and more easily remove hazards by avoiding Spikes, Toxic Spikes, and Sticky Web. Rotom-H also has interesting utility options that can help fill holes in a team such as Defog, Trick, and Will-O-Wisp. That being said, it struggles to reliably check some of the threats it deals with thanks to a Stealth Rock weakness. Repeatedly switching into Pokemon it is supposed to check will leave it too weak to deal with them later after hazards damage. It also finds itself walled by common Pokemon in the UU metagame such as Swampert and Latias. Non-Choice Scarf sets can find themselves easily pressured by a myriad of offensive threats that you can normally Volt Switch out of such as Terrakion, Mega Aerodactyl, and Starmie. While its typing leaves it with only a couple weaknesses, being an Electric-type weak that can't come in safely on Water-types can be especially frustrating.

Moves
========

Volt Switch allows you to get in your other teammates safely and pivot Rotom-H away from danger. Overheat is your secondary STAB, and also allows you to use an incredibly powerful Inferno Overdrive. Inferno Overdrive followed by an Overheat can break through threats like Krookodile and Sylveon where two regular Overheats would not. Thunderbolt threatens out Water types that could live and heal on a Volt Switch like Alomomola and Suicune. Hidden Power Grass lures Pokemon that can deal with Rotom-H's Electric and Fire-type STABs easily, such as Swampert, Rhyperior, and Seismitoad. They will stay in expecting to wall you and you can hit them for super effective damage. Defog can be used to remove hazards from Pokemon you force out like Hippowdon. Will o' Wisp can also be used if you already have hazard removal, crippling physical switch ins to Rotom-H like Swampert or physical Kommo-o. Thunder Wave is an option as a way to support teammates by crippling Dragon-type switch-ins like Latias and Hydreigon, but there are usually better users of this status.

Set Details
========

252 Speed EVs combined with a Timid nature gives you as much speed as possible, beating threats like Suicune and Nidoking. 252 SpA allows you to hit as hard as possible. With Firium-Z equipped Rotom-H's Inferno Overdive is a very strong move, packing 195 BP, and can pick up surprise kills on things that normally tank an Overheat. Levitate allows you to check certain Grounds like Hippowdon, avoiding what would be a 4x effective Earthquake. Iapapa Berry is an option to maximize the chances Rotom-H has to remove hazards, as well as being good for general HP recovery. Other Fire-types such as Chandelure and Volcanion are generally more threatening with Choice Specs.

Usage Tips
========

Be wary about using its Z move too early, it's often safe to scout your opponent first and see how they're playing around Rotom-H. Once their counterplay is identified, the time to unleash Inferno Overdrive will reveal itself. You can surprise Pokemon like Hippowdon using this strategy. Use Volt Switch liberally in the early game to generate momentum and slowly wear down your opponent's team. To get time to use Defog, bring Rotom-H in on defensive Pokemon it can threaten out like Mega Aggron. Rotom-H can also switch into Pokemon like Moltres and Mega-Pidgeot consistently, but must be wary of its Stealth Rock weakness. Make sure to come in on resisted hits from Pokemon you are checking like Scizor and Mamoswine, as their coverage will hit hard due to Rotom-H's mediocre bulk. Use Will-O-Wisp to neuter the passive recovery of checks like Swampert and Quagsire. The Firium-Z set can also be used to bluff a less common Choice Scarf set. You can condition your opponent to thinking you are Scarf by using Volt Switch early, and surprising them when they least expect it with the Inferno Overdrive.

Team Options
========

Grass-types like Celebi once again fill a very nice core with Rotom-H, helping it by breaking Water / Ground-Types and eating Water moves aimed at it. Offensive Fairy-types can pressure Dragons and sometimes Ground-types as well. Pokemon like Togekiss, and Primarina appreciate the pivoting opportunities Rotom-H brings. Dragon-types like Dragon Dance Mega Altaria and Calm Mind Latias can sweep much more easily once Rotom-H has removed Steel-types for them. Entry hazard support from Stealth Rock users will allow Inferno Overdrive to pick up crucial KOes on targets like Gliscor that can normally tank one. Hazard removal options such as Starmie and Mega Altaria can threaten the bulky Ground-Types Rotom-H hates, and let Rotom-H opt to run Will-O-Wisp instead of Defog. Scizor forms a great VoltTurn core with Rotom-H. Scizor checks Rock-types like Mega Aerodactyl and Nihilego, and if opting for Swords Dance you can break through most of the Ground-types in the tier. Rotom-H in turn checks Steel-types like Doublade and Mega Aggron that can hinder Scizor from sweeping. Other U-turn users you pair well with are Hydreigon and Crobat.

Moves
========

Volt Switch is a large part of what makes Rotom-H a good choice as a Choice Scarf user, providing solid damage and allowing it to keep momentum on its side, giving it. You can hit Pokemon like Mega Aerodactyl and Water-types hard while avoiding their super effective STABs and pivoting out. Overheat is its only option secondary STAB, but it's an incredibly powerful nuke, hitting Electric resists like Celebi and Mega Steelix for great damage. Thunderbolt gives you a reliable Electric STAB that doesn't force you to switch out. It also offers more power, 2HKOing Suicune and OHKOing Mantine where Volt Switch can not. Signal Beam lets you hit Dragon-types such as Latias and Hydreigon that resist your STAB moves for good damage. Hidden Power Ice is an option to not be completel setup bait for Kommo-o and Mega Altaria, but is significantly weaker and still not enough to scare the aforementioned threats. Trick allows you to cripple something that would normally wall you such as Blissey or Swampert. Defog is an option if you are struggling to fit it elsewhere on your team, as Rotom-H is largely flexible in its last two moveslots.

Set Details
========

252 Speed EVs combined with a Timid nature gives it as much speed as possible. With a Choice Scarf it can outspeed the entire unboosted metagame, past Mega Aerodactyl. 252 SpA allows it to hit as hard as possible. Levitate lets Rotom-H pivot into Ground-type attacks that would otherwise destroy it from the likes of Krookodile and Gliscor.

Usage Tips
========

Early game it can use Volt Switch liberally when facing Pokemon it checks like Moltres or Scizor to soften your opponent's team and scout their sets. Be wary if your opponent's Ground-type or other Electric Immunity can safely switch into Rotom-H, such as when fighting Swampert or Seismitoad. Going for Trick or Overheat is often smarter in these scenarios. If they have recovery, like Hippowdon, using Trick will cripple their wall. If it is something more offensive like Nidoking or Krookodile, Overheat will hit them for heavy damage. Be careful of locking into Overheat when your opponent has dangerous threats such as Terrakion and Crawdaunt, which can sweep if given free turns. When facing high speed threats like Mega Aerodactyl, be careful of tricking a Choice Scarf away as Rotom-H loses its ability to check things faster than it. It is also important to try and avoid Knock Off users like Krookodile. If your opponent either starts with or is brought down to a team entirely of Pokemon slower than Rotom-H during lategame, getting rid of the Choice Scarf will cripple your opponent at no drawback to you. Rotom-H can gain turns to remove hazards by forcing out passive Pokemon like Alomomola and Amoonguss with its super effective STABs, using Defog as they switch out. Being locked into Defog can give free turns to any breaker or sweeper so be wary of the consequences when using it.

Team Options
========

Grass types such as Amoonguss and Celebi deal with some of the Ground-types that can safely switch into Rotom-H. They in turn appreciate Rotom-H's ability to threaten out common Steel and Flying-types like . Fairy types like Mega Altaria and Primarina can also help Rotom-H deal with its inability to hit Dragon-types for significant damage, while it can safely bring them in with Volt Switch. Sylveon is a more defensive option that can pass wishes to allow Rotom-H to continue pivoting. Frail wallbreakers like Crawdaunt appreciate the free switches that Volt Switch can provide. Pairing Rotom-H with other Volt Switch and U-turn users such as Cobalion, Scizor, and Hydreigon can give you a strong momentum grabbing core. Hazard setters help Rotom-H deal more chip damage with Volt Switch. Pokemon like Swampert, Rhyperior, Krookodile, and Empoleon pair with it well, appreciating all the setup opportunities Volt Switch gives them. If not running Defog itself, Rotom-H heavily depends on hazard removal support from teammates. Latias, Hydreigon, and Empoleon are good examples of removers that synergize well.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============

Pain Split is certainly an interesting choice, allowing for you to mitigate Stealth Rock damage and potentially abuse Blissey, Nihilego, and other high HP checks. Unfortunately it's unreliable for recovery and can often be a wasted turn if your opponent sends in a weakened Pokemon, losing valuable momentum. Electrium-Z is a potential item to run to muscle through Water-types that can tank a Thunderbolt like Suicune and Tentacruel, but Gigavolt Havoc is weaker and less consistent than Inferno Overdrive. Pivoting out of these Water-types with Volt Switch is generally advised anyway. Life Orb sets are a potential way to increase Rotom-H's power, but the recoil is annoying for a Pokemon already weak to Stealth Rocks. Choice Specs gives even more raw power to Rotom-H, but it still lacks a truly spammable STAB move, and your unboosted speed tier means you can't pivot as well. Expert Belt lets you bluff a Choice or Z-set, while also hitting Hidden Power targets harder, but lacks the utility or power of the main sets. A bulky Leftovers set that focuses on Rotom-H's merit as a Defog user with Toxic is plausible but team specific.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Water / Ground-Types**: Rotom-H finds its STAB moves commonly walled by the plethora of Water / Ground types in UU, such as Swampert, Quagsire, and Seismitoad. The most it can do is Trick them a Choice Scarf or try and use Hidden Power Grass if it's carrying it. In turn these Pokemon can abuse Rotom-H to set Stealth Rocks, recover, or spread status.

**Rock-Types**: Rock types are able to offensively check Rotom-H well, although some of them don't like switching in. Nihilego would be the premier answer, having very High SpD, potentially outspeeding you and OHKOing with Power Gem. Mega Aerodactyl can outrun non Choice Scarf sets and either hit with Stone Edge or chip Rotom-H while it switches out with Pursuit. Rhyperior completley walls non-HP grass sets and can set Stealth Rocks. Terrakion can take any one hit and setup, and Stakataka can do the same except against Inferno Overdrive.

**Dragon-Types**: Dragons naturally wall both of your STAB options, and by default check you pretty hard. Common ones like Latias, Hydreigon, and Mega Altaria also have the SpD necessary to repeatedly switch into Overheat. Latias and Hydreigon both run Choice Scarf sets commonly, which would outspeed and do hefty damage or OHKO you with Draco Meteor. It is not safe to Volt Switch on them in a 1v1 unless you've scouted their set already. Some Dragon-types must be wary of switching directly into Signal Beam, however.

**Faster Pokemon**: Rotom-H's middling speeds leaves it outsped by a lot of offensive threats without a Choice Scarf, and several common Choice Scarfers even when running the item itself. Mega Sceptile, Starmie, and Choice Scarf Volcanion are Pokemon that can threaten unboosted Rotom-H. Common Choice Scarf users like Latias, Hydreigon, and Infernape will all hit Rotom-H hard with their STAB moves.

  • Rotom H's unique Electric / Fire typing and ability to pivot and check threats such as Mega Pidgeot and Scizor give it a solid niche in the UU metagame.
  • It has the options to run a Choice Scarf set outspeeding the entire unboosted meta, or as an attacker with Firium Z.
  • Levitate allows it to avoid one of the most crippling weaknesses of its typing. (It also allows Rotom-H to have an immunity to Toxic Spikes, Spikes and Sticky Web despite its Stealth Rock weakness and potentially Defog them away)
  • Rotom-H also has interesting utility options that can help fill holes in a team such as Defog, Trick, and Will-O-Wisp.
  • That being said, it struggles to reliably check some of the threats it deals with thanks to a Stealth Rock weakness and only Pain Split for recovery. (mention some key examples like Breloom (252 Atk Technician Breloom Mach Punch vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Rotom-Heat: 93-111 (38.5 - 46%) -- guaranteed 3HKO without Stealth Rock to 252 Atk Technician Breloom Mach Punch vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Rotom-Heat: 93-111 (38.5 - 46%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock) and Serperior too, as Rotom-H can only switch in on unboosted Leaf Storms if Stealth Rock is up. Pain Split also isn't on any of the sets and therefore mentions in overview should be avoided.
  • Mention how its Speed tier leaves it outsped by common threats in the metagame that can beat it like Nihilego and Mega Aerodactyl as well as Pokemon that its typing should allow it to check such as Cobalion too.
  • It also finds itself walled by common Pokemon in the UU metagame such as Swampert and Latias.
  • Mentyion how it faces competition from other Fire-types like Chandelure and Electric-types like Mega Manectric and Rotom-C.

  • Volt Switch is a large part of what makes Rotom-H a good choice as a, providing solid damage and allowing you to keep momentum on your side. (Give some Volt Switch targets especially Water-types that you can hit hard and avoid super effective STAB moves from; you can also mention Mega Pidgeot and Mega Aerodactyl due to outspeeding them with this set)
  • Overheat is your only option secondary STAB, but it's an incredibly powerful nuke. (It hits Grass-types like Serperior, Amoonguss, and Breloom that take little from Volt Switch/Thunderbolt)
  • Thunderbolt gives you a reliable Electric STAB that doesn't force you to switch out. (Mention why this can be useful to avoid forcing Rotom-H out to a Pokemon with a worse matchup for example)
  • Trick allows you to cripple something that would normally wall you such as Blissey or Swampert.
  • Defog is an option if you are struggling to fit it elsewhere on your team, as Rotom-H is largely flexible in its last two moveslots. (Mention what Defog does here, clearing entry hazards and benefitting teammates and itself with more opportunities to switch in)
Set Details

  • 252 Speed EVs combined with a Timid nature gives you as much speed as possible. (Outspeeding the entire unboosted metagame and Choice Scarf Chandelure is a key point, so put the Speed EVs and Choice Scarf together)
  • 252 SpA allows you to hit as hard as possible.
  • A Choice Scarf is used to allow Rotom H to revenge kill high speed threats like Mega Beedrill, Mega Aerodactyl, and Crobat.
  • Mention Levitate and what it does here
Usage Tips
========
  • Early game you can use Volt Switch liberally to soften your opponent's team and scout their sets. (Elaborate on pivoting into a favourable matchup too)
  • Be wary if your opponent's Ground-type or other Electric Immunity can safely switch into you, going for the Trick or Overheat can punish them.
  • When facing high speed threats like Mega Aerodactyl, be careful of tricking your Choice Scarf away (this reads like you Trick Mega Aerodactyl, which isn't true; say be wary of losing your Choice Scarf beforehand or similar) as you lose the ability to check some things faster than you.
  • If your opponent either starts with or is brought down to a team entirely of Pokemon slower than you, getting rid of your Scarf will cripple your opponent at no drawback to you. (This is really vague, so mention some good Trick targets because this could be seen as just using Trick on whatever, which can allow you to get outsped and swept)
  • Talk about threats that Rotom-H can revenge kill
  • Talk about which attacks it can switch in on

  • Grass types such as Serperior and Celebi deal with some of the Ground-types that can safely switch into Rotom-H. • Frail wallbreakers like Crawdaunt and Breloom appreciate the free switches that Volt Switch can provide.
  • Pairing Rotom-H with other Volt Switch and U-turn users such as Scizor, Gliscor, and Mega Beedrill can give you a strong momentum grabbing core. (You didn't name any other Volt Switch users, so just saying U-turn or adding a Volt Switch user is fine)
  • Mention entry hazard support from Pokemon like Gliscor and Swampert due to the switches Rotom-H forces especially when paired with VoltTurn partners

  • Volt Switch allows you to get in your other teammates safely and pivot Rotom-H away from danger. (Also creates momentum for your team)
  • Overheat is your secondary STAB, and also allows you to use an incredibly powerful Inferno Overdrive. (Threatens Grass- and Steel-types and give examples)
  • Thunderbolt threatens out Water types that could live and heal on a Volt Switch like Alomomola and Suicune.
  • Rotom-H can beat Stealth Rock users like Gliscor and Cobalion with Inferno Overdrive / Overheat, then using Defog to remove their hazards. (This kind of sentence fits more in Usage Tips, so move that there and instead talk about what Defog does and how it helps Rotom-H)
  • Will o' Wisp can also be used to cripple physical switch ins to Rotom-H like Swampert or physical Kommo-o. (Swampert runs both Scald and Earthquake generally and wll use Scald in this scenario, so all it really does s mitigate Leftovers, which is a good point to mention in itself. Use some other physical attackers like Alolan Muk, which takes little from its attacks. There's also no need to specify physical, since 99% of Kommo-o are because the old special sets are outdated)

Usage Tips
========
  • One advantage of running Firium Z over other sets is your ability to bluff a Choice Scarf. You can condition your opponent to thinking you are Scarf by using Volt Switch early, and surprising them when they least expect it with the Inferno Overdrive.
  • Be wary about using your Z move too early, it's often safe to scout your opponent first and see how they're playing around Rotom-H. Once you identify their counterplay, your time to unleash Inferno Overdrive will reveal itself. (That seems super vague especially since analyses are aimed at newer players, so list some targets for it or elaborate on opportunities)
  • If you're opting for Will-O-Wisp, that is often a safe midground play, as neutering passive recovery from the likes of Swampert is veyr important in wearing them down over the course of a game.
  • Mention that this set appreciates coming in on free switches and VoltTurn more due to its more
  • Talk about using Defog here
Team Options
========
  • Grass-types once again fill a very nice core with Rotom-H, helping it by breaking Water / Ground-Types and eating Water moves aimed at it. Breloom in particular likes the Firium Z sets extra insurance against Gliscor, and can Mach Punch faster threats like Nihilego and and Mega Houndoom that threaten Rotom-H not equipped with Choice Scarf, while Rotom-H can remove Scizor for Breloom.
  • Hazard removal options such as Serperior, Starmie, and Tsareena can threaten the bulky Ground-Types Rotom-H hates, and keep Stealth Rocks off the field so it pivots more easily.
  • Scizor forms a great VoltTurn core with Rotom-H. Bullet Punch checks Rock-types like Mega Aerodactyl and Nihilego, and if opting for Swords Dance you can break through most of the Ground-types in the tier. Rotom-H is able to keep Steel-Types from freely switching in on Scizor.
  • Mention entry hazard support from Pokemon like Gliscor and Swampert due to the switches Rotom-H forces and the extra chip damage on Firium Z targets
[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============

  • Rotom-H has a very wide movepool, and there are definitely more options worth commenting on. (This sentence would be removed for fluff in GP as it doesn't add anything, as you list them all later anyway)
  • Pain Split is certainly an interesting choice, allowing for you to mitigate Stealth Rock damage and potentially abuse Blissey, Nihilego, and other high HP checks. Unfortunately it's unreliable for recovery and can often be a wasted turn if your opponent has weakened mons, losing you valuable momentum. (Staying in to Pain Split on Nihilego is a bad idea so I would remove that and replace with something like Alomomola)
  • Hidden Power Ice and Grass can be used to his Dragons and Water / Grounds respectively, but again the opportunity cost of using them over other moves is generally not worth it. Rotom-H should rely more on its teammates to check these Pokemon.
  • Life Orb sets are a potential way to increase Rotom-H's power, but the recoil is annoying for a Pokemon already weak to Stealth Rocks.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Water / Ground-Types**: Rotom-H finds itself commonly walled by the plethora of Water / Ground types in UU, most commonly Swampert and Quagsire, although Seismitoad and Gastrodon are still occasionally seen. The most it can do is Trick them a Choice Scarf or go for Hidden Power Grass, which is highly situational and usually not worth a moveslot. In turn these Pokemon can abuse Rotom-H to set Stealth Rocks, recover, or spread status. (or KO it with Scald)

**Rock-Types**: Rock types are able to offensively check Rotom-H well, although some of them don't like switching in. Nihilego would be the premier answer, having very High SpD, potentially outspeeding you and Ohkoing with Power Gem. Mega Aerodactyl can outrun non Choice Scarf sets and either hit with Stone Edge or chip you on the switch with Pursuit. Terrakion can take any one hit and setup, and Stakataka can do the same except against Inferno Overdrive. (Mention that the last three don't like Will-O-Wisp)

(Hidden Power Ice, if being run, can threaten them but often not enough)

**Other Electric Immunities**: While Overheat is helpful in fighting off Ground types, there are still some that have high enough SpD or a resistance to Fire that let them check you. Other random Electric immunities can prove annoying too. Hippowdon (Hippowdon is a Ground-type, it's not a random Electric immunity) and Lighting Rod Alolan Marowak come to mind. Hippo is bulky enough to recover on any move and proceed to setup Stealth Rocks, while Alolan Marowak gets free turns to utilize its fearsome attack set, Swords Dance, or set Stealth Rocks itself. (The use of "random Electric immunities" isn't really great GP wise and focusing on them more than Ground-types isn't the best especially when the only ones that arent Ground-types are Alolan Marowak, which isn't the most common, and pre-Mega Manectric, which doesn't switch in. Instead, focus on other Ground-types like Gliscor and Krookodile here and say taht they can be overwhelved by Inferno Overdrive)

Overview
* Expand on the use of Firium Z if you're going to mention it here. Talk about what it can do and what it muscles past.
* Mention some of the threats that you say Rotom-H can struggle to check in your second to last line.
* I think it's important mentioning that despite Rotom-H's general lack of weaknesses, those it has are fairly common in the metagame and that to be weak to Water as an Electric-type is particularly burdensome at times.
* Its rather paltry Speed tier is also something I think you could bring up. As you're doing this say that said Speed can leave non-Choice Scarf sets easily offensively pressured by the tier's large amount of faster threats.

Set: Choice Scarf
Moves
* This looks good but right off the bat I'm noticing a lot of what seems to be talking to the writer. I understand that it's your writing style but there's a little too much of it and it can look a little odd at times in an analysis, so try toning down the use of the word 'you' in this section and in really a lot of your others.
* Consider mentioning that Thunderbolt has key advantages over Volt Switch in the form of its better power. 2HKOing Suicune and OHKOing Mantine without Stealth Rock down are two things I think are worth mentioning the move can do.
* It seems that you forgot to finish your sentence in the Defog line so please do that.

Set Details
* Give examples of Ground-types Rotom-H can pivot into in the Levitate line. Choice-locked Krookodile and Gliscor are both sufficient examples.

Usage Tips
* I think you could be a little more specific in your line on being wary of Ground-types. Specify which are best to try punishing with Trick on the switch and which are best to just hit with Overheat.
* In your line on being careful not to use Trick against a team with faster threats on it, go ahead and specify in another sentence that using it late-game is often your safest bet in these situations.
* Mention that Rotom-H should be wary of locking itself into Overheat if an opponent like Azumarill or Latias is on the opposing team, and be sure to elaborate as to why this is the case.
* Talk about situations that would allow for an opportunity to use Defog here (you could particularly bring up that it can be used on forced switches).

Team Options
* Mega Beedrill's kind of bad now, so I'd probably look into giving a more viable example of a U-turner.
* Absolutely mention entry hazard setters here, and say that Rotom-H appreciates their ability to add to the chip damage it inflicts foes with using Volt Switch. Make sure you give examples of setters that can complement Rotom-H well.
* Say that if it is not running Defog itself Rotom-H will appreciate entry hazard removal from a teammate, and give examples of Pokemon that can do this for it.
* I'd say that Fairy-types often make fairly useful partners for Rotom-H since it can pivot the likes of Azumarill and Primarina in safely while circumventing its Dragon-type weakness some, so add them to this section.

Set: Firium Z Attacker
Moves
* Give some examples of Overheat targets as well as Inferno Overdrive targets. It's particularly important to highlight the use of the Z-move because otherwise readers wouldn't know what it's useful for muscling past.
* Your Defog line is a little off and sounds more like something I'd read in Usage Tips. State the use of only Defog here and move the use of Inferno Overdrive to where I suggested there be one.

Set Details
* Mention Iapapa Berry here as an option for the item, as it can be very important in allowing Rotom-H to remove entry hazards reliably and is just good for general recovery.
* I'd mention here that Choice Specs could also be used if another teammate is using a Z-Crystal, though it generally isn't worth it due to Rotom-H's STAB attacks being quite easy to punish if locked into and other Fire-types being better Choice Specs users anyway.

Usage Tips
* List some specific targets of Inferno Overdrive in your line that discusses the use of the attack.
* Expanding on the use of Defog and how particularly to go about removing entry hazards is also something that should be done in this section.
* Talk about Rotom-H's switch-in opportunities (i.e. against Pokemon like Gliscor and Mega Pidgeot) but also say that it should be wary of consistently switching in due to its Stealth Rock weakness.

Team Options
* Give a more relevant example of an entry hazard remover than Tsareena. Also be sure to specify that hazard removal on Rotom-H's team allows it to forgo using Defog itself to run Will-O-Wisp.
* Adding both entry hazard setters and fairy-types as lines in this section for the same reasons stated before would be helpful for fleshing this section out some.
* Give some examples of here of Pokemon that form a VoltTurn core with Rotom-H, a line on Pokemon that benefit from its slower pivot support also wouldn't hurt.

Other Options
* Add Electrium Z here and say that it can be helpful for powering through Water-types like Suicune, Empoleon, and Tentacruel that can otherwise tank at least one Thunderbolt. Be sure to also include its drawbacks, which are mainly being less consistently useful than Firium Z and often not being worth it over just pivoting out of these Water-types.

* Remove the 'Other Electric Immunities' section as it's rather unnecessary and is sort of broad as a section for checks and counters anyway.
* Add a section on Faster Pokemon, give some relevant examples, and say that they can outspeed and heavily pressure Rotom-H if it isn't running Choice Scarf. Giving examples of common Choice Scarfers that can outrun its Choice Scarf set would also be a good idea to do in the same section.

Overall this was pretty solid, though I'd really work on removing all of the mentions of the word 'you' since analyses usually don't just read well using words like that. If you have any questions let me know, but make sure all of this is implemented as it's quite a lot, and give yourself 1/3 when that's done. marthaa I'm a little short on time but I'll talk to your about your AM check over PM, looks solid from a glance.

Checks and Counters
* Remove the 'Other Electric Immunities' section as it's rather unnecessary and is sort of broad as a section for checks and counters anyway.
* Add a section on Faster Pokemon, give some relevant examples, and say that they can outspeed and heavily pressure Rotom-H if it isn't running Choice Scarf. Giving examples of common Choice Scarfers that can outrun its Choice Scarf set would also be a good idea to do in the same section.

Implemented, ready for second check.

Hey, just passing by but I've been using a choice specs for Rotom-H (max speed max Spa) with overheat, hp grass, volt switch and trick that helped me win some match up vs stall (trick the blissey and HP grass the quag) and also saved a Z move for my cobalion. Specs Overheat also gives about the same damage as the Z and isn't just a one shot. Of course you are at -2 after that, but specs still does a lot. It's not drop dead against offense either as specs volt switch does a decent damage as well as gaining momentum.

Just some quick calc :
252 SpA Choice Specs Rotom-Heat Overheat vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Blissey: 211-249 (29.5 - 34.8%) -- 100% chance to 4HKO after Leftovers recovery
252 SpA Rotom-Heat Inferno Overdrive (195 BP) vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Blissey: 211-249 (29.5 - 34.8%) -- 100% chance to 4HKO after Leftovers recovery
252 SpA Choice Specs Rotom-Heat Overheat vs. 244 HP / 208 SpD Gliscor: 271-321 (76.9 - 91.1%) -- 25% chance to OHKO after Stealth Rock and Poison Heal => and you're faster so the next overheat does it.
252 SpA Choice Specs Rotom-Heat Hidden Power Grass vs. 240 HP / 16 SpD Swampert: 364-432 (90.7 - 107.7%) -- 81.3% chance to OHKO after Stealth Rock and Leftovers recovery

It's a set that I used 2 month ago and I've been out of Showdown since, and I'm aware the meta has changed and I'm maybe too late to talk about it now, but I just wanted to mention it here. Note that it doesn't OHKO a rhyperior at full health even if it's modest (the prefered spread still is timid IMO, if you want to outspeed things like Nidoking).

Well sorry if it's no use to you and thanks for reading me.

Hi there, as discussed with QC, the two sets should be, in this order:

[SET]
name: Offensive
move 1: Volt Switch
move 2: Overheat
move 3: Thunderbolt / Hidden Power Grass / Defog
move 4: Defog / Will-O-Wisp
item: Firium Z / Iapapa Berry
ability: Levitate
nature: Timid
evs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe

[SET]
name: Choice Scarf
move 1: Volt Switch
move 2: Overheat
move 3: Hidden Power Ice / Thunderbolt / Defog
move 4: Trick / Defog
item: Choice Scarf
ability: Levitate
nature: Timid
evs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe

This isn't much different to what's already on the analysis, so switch it around and fix the sets before writing it up. Also, remove Axumarill mentions throughout.

Overview
Rotom H's unique Electric / Fire typing and ability to pivot and check threats such as Mega Pidgeot and Scizor give it a solid niche in the UU metagame.
- Mentioning being a Moltres check is a good idea, because it resists both STAB moves as well as its coverage.
- This section can also address the lack of reliable recovery when referring to its inability to come in on Gliscor often due to Stealth Rock.

Offensive Set
Moves

- Add Hidden Power Grass's description to Moves.
- Give Hidden Power Ice a mention.

Usage Tips
One advantage of running Firium Z over other sets is your ability to bluff a Choice Scarf. You can condition your opponent to thinking you are Scarf by using Volt Switch early, and surprising them when they least expect it with the Inferno Overdrive.
- Considering this set is now going to be the first set, bluffing a less common set isn't as effective. This point can be kept, but it shouldn't be the first point in this section due to how rarely it will come into play.
- Talk about how to bring Rotom-H in effectively, you've touched upon it but making it a separate idea is useful because as a pivot, this is important.
- Talk about pivoting with Volt Switch early-game or on predicted switches; this heps to generate momentum and slowly wear Pokemon down too.

Team Options
- Add some Pokemon that appreciate Rotom-H being able to weaken Steel-types. Dragon-types like DD Mega Altaria and CM Latias appreciate being able to clean late-game if they have been eliminated.
- This set doesn't need to have too much focus on removal due to Rotom being a remover itself. You can keep the point but emphasise it less.
- It down, however, need some entry hazard support to get Firium kills and also chip switch-ins due to its pivoting capabilities.

Choice Scarf Set
Moves

- Add Hidden Power Ice description.

Usage Tips
- What are the best opportunities to bring in Rotom-H?
- You talk about avoiding locking into Overheat, but you can expand on this in general, saying how Choice Scarf Rotom-H is easily exploitable when locked into a move. Being locked into an Electric move gives Pokemon like SD Gliscor free turns, and a Fire move gives Suicune and Crawdaunt free turns.
- When mentioning losing its Scarf, you can briefly discuss avoiding Knock Off users too.

Team Options
- Sylveon can be a Fairy-type example, which can also provide Wish support.
- Hazard setters not only help with chipping Volt Switch answers, but they also help with the switches forced by this set in general. Rhyperior also pairs well with this.

Other Options
Rotom-H has a very wide movepool, and there are definitely more options worth commenting on.
- That doesn't add much to the section and it isn't strictly true because it lacks coverage options.
- Remove HP Ice / Grass because they're on main sets now.
- Add Specs and Expert Belt as item options to OO.

Checks and Counters
Rotom-H finds itself commonly walled by the plethora of Water / Ground types in UU, most commonly Swampert and Quagsire, although Seismitoad and Gastrodon are still occasionally seen.
- I'd remove Gastrodon here because it isn't relevant at all, and you don't need to separate Seismitoad because offensive is becoming kinda good.
- In Rock-types, add Rhyperior. It completely walls and shuts down non-HP Grass variants, which is a big deal.
- Mention how Dragon-types must be wary of HP Ice.

firium z attacker:
- rename to Non-Choiced Attacker.

moves
- what are some volt switch targets?
- mention Thunder Wave.

set details
- what do 252 evs allow you to outspeed?
- mention that Firium Z gives Rotom-Heat access to Inferno Overdrive.
- remove the choice specs mention, it should be in OOs (which it is).

usage tips
- remove Gliscor mention, you can just replace it with Moltres
- "bring Rotom-H in on passive Walls it can threaten out like Alomomola" and "Make sure to come in on resisted hits from Pokemon you are checking like Scizor, as their coverage will hit hard due to Rotom-H's mediocre bulk."; you just contradicted yourself..
- "Make sure to come in on resisted hits from Pokemon you are checking like Scizor, as their coverage will hit hard due to Rotom-H's mediocre bulk" Scizor does not run Rock or Water coverage, not the best example.
- mention that Rotom-Heat wants to check Scizor and Mamoswine

team options
- mentioning that Fairy-types usually check Ground-types is wrong. Primarina can check Ground-types because of its Water-typing, but not only does Mega Altaria not pressure Ground-types, such as Swampert and Rhyperior, but it is also pressured itself by Toxic and Mega Steelix.
- "Bullet Punch checks Rock-types like Mega Aerodactyl and Nihilego, and if opting for Swords Dance you can break through most of the Ground-types in the tier. " Bullet Punch is not a Pokemon and thus does not check these, replace Bullet Punch with Scizor.
- " Rotom-H is able to keep Steel-Types from freely switching in on Scizor. " Steel-types do not switch in freely on Scizor in fear of coverage in Superpower (or Knock Off, in Doublade's case). I'd completely rephrase the sentence to "Rotom-Heat checks Steel-types, such as [give examples], that otherwise check Scizor" or something along these lines.

choice scarf

change the set to:
name: Choice Scarf
move 1: Volt Switch
move 2: Overheat
move 3: Thunderbolt / Signal Beam / Defog
move 4: Trick / Defog
item: Choice Scarf
ability: Levitate
nature: Timid
evs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe

moves
- mention Volt Switch targets
- replace Serperior and Breloom mention with other Overheat targets, you should also mention some Steel-types here and not just Grass-types.
- add Signal Beam; it does significantly more to Latias and Hydreigon. You should still mention Hidden Power Ice at the end of the paragraph because it allows Rotom-Heat not become a set-up fodder for Kommo-o and Mega Altaria, but mention that it is significantly weaker and generally not worth it. It literally does nothing to Kommo-o and Mega Altaria anyway.
- Remove this last line, I don't like it. Not only does it belong more to Usage Tips and Gliscor mention should be removed anyway, but it is also not entirely true. There are 21 hazard setters in UU, and 15 of threaten Rotom-Heat with either a powerful STAB move and/or a super-effective move. I might be inaccurate on the numbers, but you get my point.

usage tips
- give examples of Pokemon Rotom-Heat should Volt Switch on early game.
- give examples of Pokemon Rotom-Heat wants to click Trick on.
- "Also be careful of avoiding Knock Off users like Krookodile."; this implies Rotom-Heat should get hit by Knock Off lol. Fix it.
- "Rotom-H can gain turns to remove hazards by forcing out passive Pokemon like Alomomola and Vileplume with its super effective STABs, using Defog as they switch out.
" Vileplume is unranked. Replace it with Amoonguss. Also, mention the drawback of being locked into Defog.

team options
- what are the common Steel- and Fighting-types that Rotom-Heat threatens out?
- "Pairing Rotom-H with other Volt Switch and U-turn users such as Scizor and Hydreigon can give you a strong momentum grabbing core." you mention Volt Switch AND U-turn but also give U-turn. users examples.

other options
- mention this set: https://www.smogon.com/forums/threads/usum-creative-and-underrated-sets.3624805/page-2#post-7870241.

checks and counters
Dragon-types: replace Hidden Power Ice with Signal Beam.

This is quite a lot, implement this and I will go over it again before we send it to GP. Feel free to ask me any question.
