[OVERVIEW]

• Rotom-S having access to Trick makes it a good Choice Scarf user, being able to punish Special Tanks such as Lickilicky and Bronzor.
• Will-O-Wisp helps Rotom-S cripple physically offensive Pokémon that usually take advantage of Electric-types such as Silvally-Ground, Electivire and Golem.
• Having a (double) immunity to Spikes and Toxic Spikes while having access to Defog also makes Rotom-S an appealing hazard remover, gaining momentum with Volt Switch, but it faces competition as a pivoting defogger from some Silvally forms such as Silvally-Water, Silvally-Dragon and Silvally-Fighting.
• However, Rotom-S is weak to Stealth Rock and struggles to beat some common rock setters such as Golem and Bronzor in a 1v1 scenario.
• It also lacks reliable recovery, having to rely on Pain Split and its item for longevity.
• Rotom-S also lacks any useful coverage moves outside of Hidden Power, which makes its offensive set somewhat predictable.
