Time to be really indie by voting for someone who hasn't been voted for yet...

Oglemi!!

Also I got ninja'd by Oglemi, so opif this counts as voting for yourself feel free to change my vote to complete legitimacy.

Some awesome sets here :)

Especially complete legitimacy and his Medicham. Choosing Pokemon to support this set (it will need a lot in order to work) could be fun, and Bulk Up Medicham just seems like an insanely cool idea!

And with that, voting has ended!!!!!!!!!

Congratulations to Heist for stealing the win from Snunch by getting the last 4 votes.

Final Standings:

Heist: 10
Snunch: 9
Sound: 8
Texas: 5
Nails: 3
Honko: 2
Cherub: 1
Oglemi: 1
complete legitimacy: 1
Double01: 1

So, we will be building around this:

Meganium (F) @ Leftovers
Trait: Overgrow
EVs: 252 HP / 104 Def / 136 SDef / 16 Spd
Sassy Nature (+SDef, -Spd)
- Dragon Tail
- Leech Seed
- GrassWhistle
- Giga Drain

You may now begin nominating Pokemon that support and work well with this excellent Pokemon. Voting, once again, will end when a sufficient amount of nominations are acquired and when the fat lady sings.

GET TO IT!

Druddigon (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Rough Skin
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Def
Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Glare
- Dragon Tail
- Roar
- Dragon Claw

Parrashuffler Druddigon possibly THE best partner for Meganium. Since Meganium is slow as fuck she will truly appreciate the paralysis's (is that even a word?) from Druddigon. Druddigon also has decent synergy with Meganium by resisting fire. It may add an extra ice weakness but who gives a fuck. No one even uses ice attacks. Then once we have this stellar defensive core going on hazards would be much appreciated so make sure we have hazards for the next Poke.

@ Lefties
EVs: 252 HP / 240 Def / 16 Spe
Nature: Impish
Ability: Intimidate

- Spikes
- Waterfall
- Taunt
- Haze

Qwilfish is the perfect teammate for Meganium. It takes Poison, Bug, Fire and Ice attacks from the likes of Entei, Scyther and Drapion, while being able to set-up Spikes for Meganium to abuse. Meganium is also excellent for taking all the Electric and Ground type attack aimed at Qwilfish and also helps Qwilfish's survivability with Leech Seed a lot. Waterfall is a standard STAB move, Taunt is to prevent any kind of set-up especially hazards, which would hinder our defensive combo, and Haze is to deal with problematic mons that can set-up on Meganium due to Sub, or Taunt, or super effective poison attacks, or on a last mon scenario, such as Gallade, Klinglang, Drapion, and Munchlax even if they have already gotten their boosts.
The evs are also fairly standard. Enough Speed to beat most BU Gallade and rest dumped into HP and Def to do what Qwilfish does best!

Meganium needs something offensive that can switch in and take advantage of the sleep and leech seed, while also covering its weaknesses, so...

realistic_pokemon__archeops_by_thedragonofdoom-d3bsv1o.jpg

Archeops (M) @ Rock Gem
Trait: Defeatist
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Stone Edge
- U-turn
- Earthquake
- Acrobatics

Another underrated pokemon in itself, archeops would be AMAZING if not for its ability, defeatists, which halves its attacking stats when it gets to half health or below. However, the leech seed that meganium sets up allows it to heal off the damage from stealth rock, and the sleep it offers gives archeops a free switch-in. after this, Archeops can use stone edge, boosted by the rock gem. After that, it can just sweep with acrobatics. Earthquake is there for coverage, and U-turn for running away so archeops doesn't get smashed by anything that can manage to outspeed it, or if Archeops is getting low on health and needs another leech seed from meganium. *sigh*... If archeops didn't have such a terrible ability, it might even be uber.
Evs are standard for a sweeper, max speed and max attack. That basically gives archeops enough speed to outrun almost everything in the ru tier, excluding fast bugs/grasses and boosters. Put the last 4 Evs into anything you want, it won't make a difference.

Seconding Alexwolf's proposal. Meganium needs hazards, and theres no other spikes setter with agreable defensive synergy (defensive Omastars kinda shitty imo). The real question here is semi stall or spike stacking offense

Might as well keep adding variety here.

Suggesting an underused, underrated, and very good offensive force.

Muk
89.png

@Choice Band
Adamant
252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Spe
Sticky Hold

Gunk Shot
Focus Punch
Shadow Sneak
Fire Punch

Armed with incredible bulk, immense power, and undeniable "cool factor", Muk is a great teammate for Meganium.

While it might not provide quite as good type synergy as Qwilfish, Muk can still easily take advantage of the Bug and Poison attacks aimed at Meganium. Unlike Qwilfish, Muk can actually take a special attack or 5 and hit back. The ability to protect the team from Toxic Spikes is always a plus too.

With max HP investment and respectable base defenses, Muk really can shrug off quite a few attacks. With Choice Band boosted power, he can destroy unsuspecting teams. Fire Punch is arguably better than Ice Punch now that Gligar and Claydol are gone to reliably hit some bug- and steel-types. Shadow Sneak is great as emergency priority and wrecks offensive Rotom. Choice Band Focus Punch is for smashing Steel- and Rock- types trying to switch in and take Gunk Shot.

Gunk Shot is powerful. It OHKOs almost anything that doesn't resist Poison. With the threat of a possible Focus Punch, Aggron and Magnezone are much less inclined to switch in. Steelix, Qwilfish, and bulky ghosts are pretty much the only completely safe switch ins.
